Excellent breaded tenderloin and a bargain to boot! Definitely worth driving out of your way to try.

Front bar scene. Plenty of seating.

North of the famous bridge on west Main Street sits a sleepy little bar and grill reported to have a pretty good tenderloin. More on that in a minute. The restaurant is located on the town square, on the south side. I guess technically it is a half block to the east. There are two buildings joined together. During daylight hours, you would sit on the bar side. Tenderloin was quite good. Definitely worth a stop. French fries pile was huge.

They make the best Pork Tenderloin I have ever eaten.

Just a local dive bar, pure and simple. Cold beer, decent food, and an obvious local hangout spot.

The old shed beer was great, went down really easy. The grilled tenderloin has great texture; needs more flavor - garlic, salt, pepper

Just average. Sandwiches were decent. Food is not scratch made. Basic bar food I guess.

So we decided to go to Wings and Rings. Spouse had a free dessert in rewards, so it made the decision that much more appealing. We were quickly seated since it was mid afternoon and it wasn't busy. Was relatively quiet and made for a nice place to celebrate a birthday. Our server was quick to arrive and take drink orders. We also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Nachos. Not a fan of Buffalo sauce but we decided to give it a try. I will say I was impressed. The ranch helped cut the taste and it turned out quite tasty. It was only after it arrived that our server informed us that we could order it with any of their bbq sauces. Might give that a try next time. We ordered our entrees next. Spouse had the Korean Chicken Sandwich. The chicken is beer battered and comes with Korean sauce and Asian slaw. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger (formerly known as the Ringer Burger) which has smoked bacon, Sweet BBQ sauce, pickles, cheddar jack cheese and an onion ring on top of the burger. We both had potato wedges as our sides with some spicy bbq to dip the wedges in. Spouse absolutely loved the Korean Chicken Sandwich. I had a taste and it was really good. Would recommend it. The BBQ Bacon Burger was just as good as I remembered. Juicy, full of flavor and enormous. The wedges were perfect as well. We really enjoyed our visit there. Then... the birthday dessert came. Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream covered with chocolate and caramel drizzle with whipped cream on the sides. I don't know how it's made... but... it tasted like a dry box mix cake that they tried to dress up with the ice cream and whipped cream. Wasn't remarkable. Not something that ruined the meal, per se. Just not something I would order again. Not a make or break thing. Al in all, we had a great experience and I look forward to going back!

The ambiance is a turn of the century brick firehouse. Hubby & I ordered the Firehouse Sampler ($34.95) with 2 sides (mac n cheese, scalloped cabbage). My son got the Pulled Pork ($14.95) with 2 sides (mac n cheese, green beans). Both of these meals needed garlic bread served with them. There were 3 made in-house bbq sauces & they were all bland. Sadly, there was no Carolina gold bbq sauce. The meat was good but a little dry. Of the 3 sides we tried, the green beans were the best. I would like to return & try something on the Handhelds menu. I need bread with my bbq meat!

You have an experience that will please any pallet. I love it that they have three different barbecue sauces for you to choose from, Hot, sweet and mild. To me it lets you choose the flavors you like because one has a little more of a brown sugar taste and the other has a little more of a vinegar taste. I like to dip my sandwich. I got the visit in the evening and introduce a friend from Michigan to one of my favorite restaurants. He was so happy with a brisket. There is so much history and so many cool things to read on the walls. The decor is charming and it's an awesome place to sit and have a beer and catch up with a friend afterwards. It's my favorite for lunch and dinner in the depot district.
