Wendy's in North Windham is the worst! They have refused to make Door Dash orders and state they stop taking orders 1/2 before they close without disclosing this publically. They CONFIRM and ACCEPT orders from Door Dash but they refuse to make them and dashers arrive to no orders and customers get a refund instead of the food they ordered! Recently (November 1st) I arrived at the store to pick up a Door Dash order (again Door Dash would not send out the orders if Wendy's did not confirm or accept the order!) Wendy's waited on four cars in front of me and there was a line of cars behind me! When I go to the window, rhe employee (very rudely) told me that they did not have my order because Door Dash had just called them and canceled and they were closed! Little did they know that I was actually on the phone with Door Dash the ENTIRE time (before I even arrived at the store) and they NEVER canceled the order! I recorded the ENTIRE CONVERSATION! When I confronted the employee about this, she told me to "get the fuck out of there." She them called the manager over who also repeated "get the fuck off our property or I will call the police." The Door Dash employee witnessed this and I have the entire interaction on audio recording! The Door Dash representative advised me to leave the drive thru and she would take it from there. I was also in contact with BOTH CUSTOMERS who were "super pissed" that they had been waiting for over an hour for their order to only have their order canceled and refunded! Door Dash advised me that they would be "taking appropriate action" against that Wendy's location as they had violated their merchant agreement. I have been in contact with an attorney and he has agreed to listen to the audio recording and review my documentation and "take it from there!" Stopped in for lunch at the drive thru. Ordered the pretzel bacon burger, fries, coke, and dreamsicle frosty. Placing my order was painful, must have taken at least 5 minutes if not longer for two people to get it straight. Appeared that they might be training the first person but hard to tell. Got everything as ordered. Burger looked good with two patties with bacon on each one along with cheese. The whole meal was uninspiring. No real taste to the burger, didn't bother to even eat the roll or finish the burger. The fries were mediocre at best and left those as well. The dreamsickle frosty was the highlight of the meal although I have to say the coke probably edged it out just a bit. There won't be a return trip to this location given this experience. Might try another location for comparison but that won't be anytime soon. read more

My wife and I come here pretty often. We've both been up sick for multiple hours during the night, and the last thing we each ate was a meal from this location. The food clearly was not safe to eat. read more

Stale nuggets, cold fries, wrong burger orders...thats what you'll get here. I ask for one thing...fresh food. My fucking bun was stale, I ask for no mayo and I get a burger slathered in it. Come on this is insane. I understand you guys are over worked and underpaid but come on. This is bullshit I complained and they offered to make it again but I was already 5 mins away. I picked at some fries on the drive home, and a nugget. Both cold. I don't have time to turn around and wait hence why u chose "fast food." This Wendy's has been fire in the past few times I've been there. But the staff weren't at their best tonight. I waited at the front for someone to take my order but no one jumped on the register until a few minutes later. That didn't bother me too much though as much as the attendant at the register. As I was making my order, the attendant at the register was speaking in a low sort of mumble that I couldn't hear well over the loud frosty machine. I had never ordered this item before and I was having some trouble hearing the options. She seemed annoyed with me, so I switched to my regular order because I thought it wouldn't cause more trouble. The last thing she asked was cash or credit while I was holding a credit card in my hand, which I thought was obvious but I was dumbfounded and asked "What?" To which the lady shook her head and sighed. I told her to have a wonderful day as I left. I hope she improves on her customer service. The fries were somewhat cold and soggy but I can forgive and forget lol. Don't think I'll be coming here for a while. read more

Never have baked potatoes. No matter what time of day, season, etc..... Always say they don't have any made, almost ready.... If you ask to have one made, be prepared to wait AN EXPONENTIALLY LONG TIME (30+ minutes). It's to the point they should remove it from the menu at this location forever. Also, service always very slow with at least five or more customers waiting for orders already placed - even when no new customers are placing orders. UPDATE:. After finding no potatoes ordered single burger. The miniscule amount of lettuce ( thin, single leaf that didn't even extend to end of bun), one small slice tomatoes, and two small slices of pickle added to disappointment. Bun also stale. Seemingly no reason to return. We decided while there we would go to Mooyah's in Storrs/UCONN from now on. They always have all items in menur, buns fresh and they don't skimp on lettuce and other add ons. Bye bye Wendys. Nice knowing you when you were actually good. read more

Literally the worst experience at a fast food restaurant ever. Person taking drive through order was incredibly rude and refused to take the deal on the app and said "maybe next time" before closing the window in my face. Had to come back around twice and still left 30 minutes later with a frosty that was the consistency of warm milk and cold fries. read more

I'm sorry to say but the 99 cent menu at Wendy's is the best bang for your buck. I get the chili, even with some "other" places that claim their chili is the best,. They still can't touch the Wendy's chili. I would recommend getting the Cesar side salad, and chicken nuggets, (rip the nuggets apart and put them in the chili), and then pour the chili-nugget concoction all over the salad. So it's 1am. Every fast food place is closed, but there's hope. Wendy's. Me and my friends have a WILD order lined up for us. A list of 10 orders at LEAST, plus a plethora of sauces. We roll up to the window and were greeted with the grace of god. The woman at the window didn't even flinch through our mess up orders and confusion. We kept listing, and she kept adding. We then pull up to the second window, and were only treated with kindness. I'd probably pop a cap in someone's a** at this point. The two of them then completely finished our order in RECORD time. I never knew people could work so fast. These 2 women (s/o girl pwr) absolutely slayed tonight. You made us feel comfortable walking out with a feast that could feed 3x the size of our group. Pulled into the drive through at Wendy's located at 5A NORTHRIDGE DRIVE, N.WINDHAM, CT 06256, (860) 456-9839 at 1:15 AM on 7/30/2018. The posted hours for drive through service is "open until 2:00 AM. I was met with "we are no longer serving tonight". Last time I visit this place. I will drive the extra 5 miles to a fast food drive thru that serves according to their posted hours. I suggest they hire some help willing to perform the job they are paid to do. read more

The manager feels ok with standing in the middle of the store (coming from behind the counter) and informing a customer that they are a bad customer because the customers order was made improperly and the customer complained (ok loudly complained). The food is not that great you'd think service would be excellent. At least that's how it used to be but I guess the old adage "The customer is always right" is long gone. The owner of this store should train their managers to be more professional. We won't be back and I hope the other customer in the restaurant will reconsider their choice of dining establishments, because the next time it could be them getting screamed at. read more

The french fries are always 1/2 full. No matter how many times you complain, they just don't care

I'm not one to write to many reviews but I was really upset today. My husband and I both got the baconator. Both sandwiches had "2" (1 piece broke in half) pieces of bacon on them. When we went to get our order fixed they gave dirty looks and simply put one more broken in half piece on. Our fries were cold and unsalted. I was just completely upset with today's meal and completely astonished by the poor customer service. read more
