This used to be a good place to get a quick meal, but something must've changed in management in the last year or two because this is one of the worst run fast food places I have ever seen. I'll assume the food is still decent, but I can't say for sure because the last three times I went there I was in a line of cars that didn't move one space in 5+ minutes, so I left every time. Probably the worst Wendy's location I've ever had the misfortune of patronizing. Rude staff with incorrectly prepared food and stale buns. If you want Wendy's it's definitely worth driving a couple miles out of your way to avoid this store in particular. It's too bad considering how much I love a Baconator. I just stopped at the Wendy's by Ridgedale and tried going through the drive through. I was told they were changing their register even though they just took an order from another customer. I waited 5 full minutes. Finally i left. I work retail and know for a fact changing out registers in the middle of a busy shift is hardly ever done. When it is done never takes more than a minute. Never lie to your customers. If your having other issues be honest. This is their second strike. They won't get a third. Never going back. read more

The last time I went I had a bad feeling when I saw the employees smoking together in the parking lot. I got to the speaker and it took 5 minutes just to get a response and I could hear the background noise from the parking lot over their speaker. Checked in for my mobile order and it took another FIFTEEN MINUTES to get my order at the window. No care or explanation from the employees or corporate when I contacted them later. If I could I would not give any stars for this review. The food is horrible. The sandwich was all over the packaging. Bun was so soggy. Tomatoes outside the packaging. I didn't have one bite. Strawberry lemonade was nasty and not mixed. Syrup was probably so old and sitting out in the heat. I thought I would try one more time because last time I ordered sandwich only and was told it doesn't work that way and got fries which are always too salty and can't eat them. I have ordered 2 dave's combos with potatoes on site but for some reason have got 2 combos whit fries on side and 1 potato separated. When i get back to change fries to potatoes I was asked what wrong by like 4 different people. And after I gave back all food to them and waiting for like 5 min They gave me only two potatoes and that's it. Facepalm. I explained that I would like two daves combos with potatoes again. And the gave me two saves sandwiches. But when I drive away and look to sandwiches one of them was torn by side. It looks like somebody grab it with force all fist. Btw I receive that sandwich from old man (who was in charge I suppose). And torn sandwich was cold. I've been here about 6 times and the food is consistent with what I've had at other locations. What I love about the place is the dining area is always clean and I've seen two special needs employees working every time and they are treated with respect and dignity. Today I witnessed a manager/supervisor named Eric handled one of those employees with complete professionalism & respect. The employee was obviously upset about something and Eric handles it extremely without causing disruption to the patrons. On this alone I'll continue to come back. read more

What I like about this location is that while I have never had to wait long in the drive-thru, (five minutes max) if there is a wait, there is plenty of space to line up, which many drive-thru locations do not have. I have been to this location three times and my order has always been accurate, and I once had the pleasure of being serenaded by the employee taking orders in the drive-thru. Plus it's conveniently located off of 394 and Ridgedale Drive. read more

The drive-through experience is like out of a prank show. You don't understand why the car ahead of you won't move forward, and why he keeps shouting and shouting into the ordering microphone. But then 10 minutes later, you pull up to the microphone, and it all becomes clear. The order taker on the other side of the microphone is incomprehensible. What? WHAT?? What did you say?? A cheeseburger? What KIND of cheeseburger you want? What? WHAT?? I just want a cheeseburger. But I'm not saying it right, I have to specify a Dave's burger or a something something burger. You can't just ask for a cheeseburger. The guy starts yelling at you, so you yell louder so he can hear you better, but then he yells at you for talking too loud. 10 minutes later, you pull ahead and they hand you a drink. Can I have a straw? We don't have any! And I didn't even get the simple cheeseburger I asked for. Not only did he lighten the mood with a cheerful song on the drive through speaker, but he also had a smile on his face at the window and was so nice. What can you say? It is a Wendy's. The pluses that this location has is a drink bar I.E. you will not have to keep going to the counter to ask for refills. I eat lunch here occasionally when in town. Counter staff is always friendly. Not just the high dollar locations need praise. Even fast food places can be different. This location is actually in Minnetonka across from Ridgedale. It is the only fast food near Ridgedale Mall. read more

I get back to work and my burger was not cooked all the way and was pink in the middle and got a large fry and not a medium. I used their app and placed a mobile order for the first time. When I got to the restaurant, I pulled through the drive thru and there was no one there. I pulled up to the window, all the lights were on in the kitchen, but no one. I waited a couple of minutes and then tried calling the store. No answer. I went to the front door and there's a sign that said that the lobby was closed due to a staffing shortage. I went back through the drive thru to the window and saw a guy sitting in the managers office on his cell phone. I knocked on the window and he hid.. won't be returning to this location. read more
