In looking at most of the reviews on here, almost everybody gave them 1 star. I didn't have an incredible experience, but it was good for the most part. This restaurant is around 15 minutes from where I live, thus I don't come here frequently. I had heard that Wendy's was now selling breakfast, so I decided to drive here to check it out. I also saw the window signs telling people that you could get a free breakfast sandwich if you downloaded their new App. So, I downloaded the App and ordered breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The speed of service was reasonable. The food was actually pretty good. I tried the Breakfast Baconator Combo. The sandwich was very flavorful. The side of potato wedges were warm and well-seasoned. So, I probably won't come here frequently, but the new Wendy's breakfast items were pretty good and definitely worth trying. read more

Upon placing my order, it took at least 15-20 minutes for my food to be ready until randomly a staff member comes from the kitchen looks at me and yells "AYO WHATCHU IN HERE FOR?" Could easily be the slowest Wendy's on the planet. Food takes on average 10 15, 20 minutes to get order. Staff is nice but plan to spend 30 minutes for fast food. read more

Pulled up to the drive thru 15 minutes to close with only one car ahead of me, and after chatting, joking, and failing to understand the person in front of me's long order, 16 minutes later I finally get to the window to hear "sorry we're closed, and refused to take my order. Went to DT to get something for my son at 7:30pm. Waited fifteen minutes at order area never got my order taken. 5 other cars in line, one car in front of us that already ordered bailed out before getting food. I don't want to dunk on a chain restaurant amidst a pandemic, but when I think about it, I realize that this Wendy's has sucked for quite a while, but like a hungry animal, I always forget about it until I'm stuck waiting in their drive-thru line, and then fall for the sunk-cost fallacy of "I've waited this long (darn) it, may as well stick it through" before my day always ends up ruined afterward. Even before COVID-19 and there were times where I'd actually gone inside to sit down and eat, the service and quality of the place were garbage too. I vividly remembering the last time I was there the Coke Freestyle machine they had for inside diners was out of pretty much everything except for one flavor of Vitamin Water. The thing is, given this Wendy's location in bougie East Cobb, it's kind of surprising how much it actually sucks. I have to wonder if the workforce pool of the surrounding Lassiter area might think they're too good to work for a fast food restaurant that's not Chick Fil-A or something, but for quite a while, I've thought this place has sucked, but I typically never really bothered writing reviews for chains until I had nothing really left to review because I'm rarely going anywhere these days and not going to many new places. It's at the intersection of Sandy Plains Rd. and Shallowford Rd. in the corner that shares the space with a Home Depot and a Publix. As stated, considering its location, not to mention the fact that there's not a tremendous amount of competition save for a Taco Bell and a Chick Fil-A nearby, there's not a tremendous amount of competition for this Wendy's, yet they manage to stink it up just about every time I've been there. As other reviewers have detailed, the common problem is that their service is slower than lines at suppressed voter stations, and my last visit, I'm pretty sure I sat in line for nearly an entire 30 minutes. As stated above, I'm sure I'm not the only one who falls into the sunk-cost fallacy trap of having waited X minutes, so waiting another Y might as well. That being said, the kitchen staff has to be the worst group of workers in the metro area, because no other Wendy's is this consistently bad, not even the one 6 miles down Sandy Plains that _closed down_ months ago. Fortunately, as slow as they are, the quality isn't that impacted negatively. If you've been to one Wendy's, you've been to them all, so quality-wise, nothing is really out of the ordinary here. And if there's any positive at all, and it's because I'm pretty sure I get this guy every time, the guy who greets and takes the orders at the drive-thru, that guy's a champion. Given how long the kitchen takes, this poor cashier is probably taking all the rage from the customers, but always maintains a cordial and professional demeanor. Seriously, never coming back to this Wendy's, and I'd recommend others stay away from it unless you want your day effectively ruined. read more

Tonight, my girlfriend convienced me to order drive thru. This crew, the staff - knocked it out of the park. We had no problem ordering food for four people in the drive-thru, and the order was correct. Kudos! If you haven't been to Wendy's lately, the serving sizes have gotten much smaller. This is by far the most incompetent fast food place I have ever gone to. I have tried it out several times and sometimes it's fine but you never know when they'll have no ketchup, you need to check your fries every time or you'll likely be disappointed by how cold and stale they are. 9 o'clock on a Saturday. I had ordered four sausage biscuits. I went through the drive-through, and michelle was once again very rude. They said they might not even have the biscuits and they needed to check. So I waited and waited and she said yeah we have them come around. It was a long wait, and when they finally did show up, they just stared at me after I had paid. After they have given me the food. I was just waiting for the receipt. Another woman came to the drive-through in her arms were crossed and said, is there anything else that you needed today, ma'am. With a very rude, sarcastic high school attitude. I apologize for the inconvenience. I was just waiting for my receipt. Well did you check your bag. Oh no, I'm sorry that was never communicated to me. This place is just awful. You'll stand in line for 5 minutes when there is no one in front of you. Or you go through the drive thru and wait forever to place your order when you are the only car. I've seen and talked to the managers before and they just don't care. One of them always acts annoyed as if you disturbed them. Also half the time the food is either wrong or cold. We asked for one crispy chicken sandwich with no mayo after explaining how he was allergic to it, only to find that they still put mayo on it. I love Wendy's. I love their food. We frequent this location on a fairly regular basis...mostly through the drive-thru. But I'm becoming increasingly disappointed in this location due primarily to cleanliness and staffing. The inside of this location stinks...literally. It's a disgusting smell that I don't know how people can stand, and I don't know how management can tolerate. From a service standpoint, it used to be considerably better about 2-3 years ago, but now, it's terrible. Employees don't seem to be as eager to serve customers and the employees themselves don't seem to care much about personal hygiene. I was served tonight by a kid who looks like he's NEVER cut or cleaned his nails. I know that sounds picky, but it's not. And I doubt I'm the only one who's noticed. My hope is that the corporate office identifies this location as needing a remodel and a new management team, because it's in in a great location and could be a great restaurant again. **** Corporate must have been listening because this location was remodeled about a year ago. The hours listed here is wrong; because, this location serves breakfast. I believe they open and do breakfast at 6:30am until 10:30am like most breakfast joints. I came for the honey butter chicken biscuits and boy they are amazing. I also had their baconator, breakfast potatoes and my morning routine coffee.
