So this location has great customer service and the food was quicker than I was ready for. All that said it was still a good spicy chicken sandwich...of sorts. I get it Wendy's...everything is more expensive now. To keep costs down it looks like what was once the best fast food chicken sandwich is now just a glorified spicy chicken nugget. It's still tasty, and still real chicken (vs. nugget chicken), but it's disappointing that it's come to this. I feel like it's morphed from a whole beautiful crispy chicken breast with a whole piece of tomato (and sometimes 2), with a healthy serving of lettuce, to half a chicken breast, and now down to a quarter chicken breast. I'm "sticking my bottom lip out" disappointed. I feel like I need to open a restaurant to serve food I would want to eat. The reasonably priced lunch options in Livermore so are limited. Be careful when you go to this Wendy's. I ordered a meal thru the drive-thru. Using my credit card the order was taken but within 15 mins I got an alert indicating someone at that location used that card number to pay off an ABNB in San Francisco for 322.51. Went to Wendy's tonight. Hadn't been there in years. I remembered how good it always was. Not anymore. I ordered a apple, pecan salad, a chicken bacon sandwich and the Cinnabon tear apart. The salad was not cold. The leafy lettuce was so wilted, almost slimy. Miniscule amount of iceberg lettuce, to add some crunch to the wilted, old looking salad. Pretty gross to me. The chicken sandwich should have been good but when I bit into the chicken, it was like rubber. Like it was cooked earlier, then microwaved to heat it up. We all know how chicken gets if you microwave it. Disgusting. Could not finish salad or sandwich. I thought they couldn't do much to ruin the Cinnabon. I was wrong. The pull aparts were so stale and old, it was not chewy, like a little cinnamon roll. They were brittle and crunchy, with a less than tasty flavor. Those 3 items cost me $17.68. What waste of money. You can definitely taste the lack of quality with the chicken though. I got the honey bbq and the spicy ghost pepper flavors. All staff friendly and professional, Especially Benjamin. Benjamin is a hard working professional who has consistently made my experience at Wendy's a great one. He seriously deserves a raise. The food is made well, and quickly. Mistakes on your order are very rare, but, the 2 times it's happened to me, they were quickly remedied with no fuss. (I work close by and have gotten lunch here at least 50 times, probably closer to 100 times). The restaurant itself is clean and quiet. ample seating, and nice, clean bathrooms. Just remembered why I have not been here in a while. Went through drive thru just to try the new mushroom bacon burger. I got to work and it was a regular bacon burger. I hate to have to be one of those people that sit at the window and have to open up all of my food to check for correctness. Last visit was about a month ago and I ordered a 6 piece nuggets. I was told the total at the window and was like man nugget costs got higher I guess. I got home and it was a 10 piece. Saw a free chicken sandwich offer with any purchase, so I figured I'd give it a whirl. Just did this order this afternoon with my significant other who also placed her own order. The web site is very cumbersome. We sat in the parking lot for over ten minutes getting our orders in with the chicken coupon on our phones--and no, I will not load fast food restaurant apps on my phone. The parking lot was empty and there had been no cars entering the drive through the whole time we were there, so I was a little surprised when we got up to the drive through window and the guy in the window appeared totally perplexed when I told him we were picking up orders. Then he finally said to me "Are you (insert my gf's name)?" I said no, that's her next to me (she has a very obviously female name and I am very obviously not female). He disappeared for about five minutes than came back with her order. I said "there are two orders." Again, he's gone for 3-4 minutes and hands me mine. Eyeroll. We park, and let me tell you, you know how the big ol' chicken patty hangs way out over the edge of the bun in the picture? That's not at all the reality. Oddly impressed by this Wendy's. Only the drive through was open and the line initially looked super long, but it went by very quickly. Order, pay, food pick up. Order was fast, accurate (actually, I got 2 bonus nuggets, score!). They actually had the baked potato ready and available (for whatever reason, the last 5 Wendy's I went to at different times and locations, did not have them available... was so sad.). Staff wasn't brimming with joy and sunshine, but they were polite enough. Gave me the extra condiments I asked for without being nasty, and it was a quick stop and go. Reviews complaining about the lack of pleasantries are a joke. It's a fast food joint. Get your stuff and get out. They're not paid enough to cross the T'sand dot the I's on politeness or to be buttering you up with hellos, thank yous, and how were your days. This is the worst Wendy's I have ever been to in the entire Bay Area. The service is horrible. They need to fire all the staff and hire people who aren't clowns. One time I ordered in the drive thru and the drive thru guy told me my order incorrectly so i repeated it back twice with the total. Got to the window and he would not give me the correct order even though I told him I did not order what he said and had not paid yet, meaning he could correct my order and charge me accordingly. Not even surprised at the 1 star ratings. This is the absolute worst Wendy's location I have ever been to. The staff, including managers, are extremely rude. No matter how you order your food, they'll give you whatever they feel like giving you. I come here too often because the location is easy and right off the freeway. All of the employees I've ever been in contact with at this store has been super friendly & efficient! The food is consistent so I know what I'm getting when I order my usual and I've never gotten an order made incorrectly at this location.
