Unfortunately, the star of the sandwich (the beef patty) was a big letdown. It was extremely thin and unimpressive, which made the whole sandwich feel underwhelming despite the good bread and toppings. The Dominican hot dog was even more disappointing. I had high hopes for it, but it tasted like a generic, water-filled beef dog you'd grab from the convenience aisle at Market Basket. Nothing special or "Dominican-style" stood out. For $45 total (two chimis + one hot dog), I expected more from their signature outdoor offerings. The food I saw being prepared inside looked like standard fare, but the outdoor Dominican items I came for didn't deliver.
