My daughter gets the pork belly over the mac&cheese every time! And she likes it so much, she won't share! I have gotten different items each time, and I've always enjoyed whatever I have ordered. I can say this restaurant is a great choice in the area. Food is good, lots of seats so never a long wait, everything is clean including the restrooms. Since I've been here multiple times, I can say that the service is consistent, and while I had one messed up order on a visit, they took care of it quickly and apologized for the mishap.

I think I might have (unfortunately for me) found the worst McDonald's in existence…read more.. In my mind, McDonald's created the drive-thru experience. A quick way to get in, order your food, and then get out in a timely manner. That was not the case at this establishment. Oh no, instead, it was wait...and wait...and wait for your order to be taken, and that was with two other cars ahead of you. It. Was. Painful. Even then, the order was sloppily made and provided. I will most likely NEVER go back to this McDonald's as I live outside the area. I feel sorry for any locals that feel the need to go here...

We all remembered it so we decided to go back while visiting her again. Of course, we ordered the same margarita tower (which holds 80 oz of margarita). While we were enjoying it, a lady from another table came up to us, pointed at the tower and asked, "WHAT IS THIS!?" We explained what it was and she seemed fascinated by it. Maybe she'll order one the next time she visits. LOL. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well that day so I couldn't drink much. That just meant more for my husband and our aunt and they certainly didn't complain. All the food we ordered was delicious and we had a wonderful time catching up. There were lots of laughs and great conversation which made the experience even better.

Thoroughly disappointed…read more The beef in the beef fajitas was cut so small that I have honestly had McDonald's French fries that were larger. The "premium" margarita was the exact same house premixed margarita mix with a splash of slightly better tequila added to it. Nothing about it felt premium. Service was disappointing as well. Our waiter barely checked on the food and never really checked to see if we needed refills. Then came the churros. We ordered churros to go. The picture showed churros on a plate with chocolate on the side. What we received was completely covered in chocolate, canned whipped cream, and some kind of strawberry or cherry syrup. Honestly, I have no idea what it was because the red color looked completely unnatural. I asked the waiter for plain churros instead--not the overly Americanized, bastardized version we had just received. Apparently, "plain" meant SERIOUSLY plain. No sugar. No cinnamon. Nothing. At that point, we were done and headed up to pay, only to find out that paying with a card adds almost another $4 as an "admin fee." I sincerely hope that fee is being split with the staff, because believe me, no additional tip was left after this experience. This is not a place I will ever return to.

There are choices in this area, but we opted for what we thought would be fast. We should have gone elsewhere if we were looking for fast. This McDonald's has been here for decades. Outlasting the go cart track, multiple rebuilds of the Sheetz, and stores closing down nearby. We pulled in, later in the evening, and the parking lot was nearly empty. We actually wondered if the lobby was closed. But we took the chance to come inside. Like most locations, this one focuses too much on the drive thru. Which became apparent when we had placed our orders and waiting long than you should have to at a fast food place. What was surprising was the customer service. The lady that did end up serving our food to us was a delight. She was funny, didn't take any grief, and if I remember correctly, was singing while she worked. I loved that she put my Dad in his place. My Dad was being a bit too much asking for things that he could have grabbed himself. The food is what you would expect. I did give their new sandwich a try. It was decent and possibly too much food for one meal. The Big Arch is basically the Big Mac in a trench coat. Better cheese and fried onion straws. This location went through a change when McDonald's wanted to grow up, but they held onto some nostalgia things. Like Ronald McDonald outside on a bench and some of the old roofline. But, like I said, not many people will care since they are in the drive thru.

I'm not much of a beer drinker so I didn't order anything to drink but my husband got an IPA and enjoyed it just as much as the last time. For food, I ordered the gyro sandwich and my husband got the lobster rolls. Unfortunately, my gyro was a bit too salty and slightly charred so I didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped. However, I absolutely loved the chips that came with it. I can't remember what they called them but they tasted almost like a funnel cake and were very addictive. They had some tables set up outside and since it was warm enough that evening, we decided to sit out there. I just wish the lighting had been a little better because it was pretty dark. I even had to ask my husband to use his phone's flashlight so I could take pictures of the food. LOL
