Had to download Yelp just for this -- that's how committed I am to warning future ice cream lovers…read more We've been loyal DQ customers for years, but the last two have felt like we're living in the "upside-down" version of Dairy Queen. The drinks? Half full, as if the staff is trying to help us with portion control (thanks, but no thanks). The Blizzard? Let's just say it was more "light flurry" than full-on storm. And the cone? They handed me a cone that looked less like ice cream and more like a failed pottery project. Meanwhile, my kids chanted "boo DQ" the entire ride home, which is impressive, considering they usually worship ice cream like it's a fifth food group. We still love Dairy Queen (the memory of what it used to be), but unless they pull it together, I'll have to start getting my ice cream from... dare I say it... Sheetz.

I got the Mander burger-- two stacked patties, Brie cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and raspberry mayo. It was DELICIOUS. The Brie was tasty and soft and they put on a generous amount. I took a gamble ordering something with unique flavors and it definitely paid off. The Brie paired well with the raspberry mayo. The server was efficient, attentive and pleasant. It's a cozy atmosphere. With the refillable fresh cut fries, you're getting plenty of food and more bang for your buck! The bartender would take a plate out now and again but for the most part, this poor woman was handling about 10 tables on her own. It took half an hour to get our appetizer (cheese curds, one serving). Fifty mins to get our burgers (2). I don't know how Olyvia kept it together. She was pleasant when I would have been crying in the corner. The food was good and the kitchen made zero mistakes. Portions were quite large and I was shocked it didn't seem as if inflation hit this place too hard. Didn't have a heart attack seeing our bill. Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza. There is handicap but again, you're sharing. Good amount of space inside for walkers, strollers, canes and scooters. Bathroom is adequate for all. This place is worth a try and Olyvia deserves a raise.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated that they were willing to prepare a breakfast sandwich for me and my partner with the ham on the side. Everybody won, with me getting a vegetarian breakfast sandwich and my partner getting some sliced ham to add to her portion. All told, this is an excellent establishment for a low key outing while you're visiting Ligonier. The hours are extensive, so it fills just about any breakfast/lunch/snack type need. It honestly has the feel of an early stage Starbucks with a friendly "enjoy this space with friends" vibe combined with a hip local grocery store.

Just think classic, American diner food, but cooked better. The last time, my roasted beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and beef gravy was so hearty and delicious, I ate it all. It can get quite busy sometimes so I would recommend reservations for larger groups. And every time I came here, I left with a box full of sugar cookies from the bakery to take back home to FL to enjoy. There's no better touch-of-home than a homemade sugar cookie with frosting.
