We've been loyal DQ customers for years, but the last two have felt like we're living in the "upside-down" version of Dairy Queen. The drinks? Half full, as if the staff is trying to help us with portion control (thanks, but no thanks). The Blizzard? Let's just say it was more "light flurry" than full-on storm. And the cone? They handed me a cone that looked less like ice cream and more like a failed pottery project. Meanwhile, my kids chanted "boo DQ" the entire ride home, which is impressive, considering they usually worship ice cream like it's a fifth food group. I was just there, I live a quarter mile away. the fries were cold and the sandwiches had no bacon. it looked like the burgers and bun were pre made and sitting in a heat tray. was not happy at all. been going here for years it's been amazing but now not at all. Talk about a delightful feeling of a blast to the past! We stopped at this Dairy Queen right off of he Donegal exit to grab some dinner and pick up a famous ice cream cake for our friend's birthday. The inside was like stepping back in time! It was familiar and clean, and the staff was all so courteous - something you don't see as much! Stopped in to DQ today with the family as we were driving through Pennsylvania. The options for food were pretty limited - burgers, fries, chicken tenders, side salad. I opted for the double cheeseburger with a side salad. The side salad was good, but the burger was actually burned. First burned burger I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Ever! That was disappointing. The building was old and odd. This was not always a DQ and it's not like any other DQ I've been in. The fireplace would be nice if I just came from the nearby ski resort. Extremely rude and wouldn't make the theme cake we wanted. So I was fine with that. But then got the entire remainder of the cake wrong and wouldn't give us a replacement cake until another date. The writing on the papers even specifically stated what we wanted and still managed to get it wrong and be rude about it. Brenda, the manager, is the one who got it wrong and even refused to write on our cake because her personal beliefs. Stopped here real quick to get the kid some ice cream and grab some food. This place has that old DQ feel to it. Smaller but has really nice seating and a fireplace. Bathrooms were actually extremely clean. The rest of the restaurant was very clean as well. Whole atmosphere was great. Food and ice cream were typical for dairy queens. Staff was friendly and amicable. We liked it and will stop back if we are ever in the area again. read more

Terrible, rude service. We were "greeted" by a teen who should be in a different line of work or on antidepressants. She couldn't even drum up a pleasant greeting. We had a simple order which she managed to screw up twice. Not that she made it. She took the order and went to stand around behind the counter doing nothing while we waited. We were the only customers in the store, but the 5 or 6 workers couldn't be bothered to make our order in a timely fashion. We didn't give us a receipt so we couldn't even see if it was the order or the order maker who screwed up - or tell if I had paid for the large when I was only given a medium. The interior is old school with wood paneling which I thought was cool, but it was dirty. The bathroom had heat blasting in it on a hot August day. I won't be back. read more

I have come to this Dairy Queen a few times. The last time I went there I got a chicken basket with the gravy for dipping sauce. They 100% water down their gravy. The gravy is the only reason I get the chicken basket. It is usually very thick and flavorful but wen I opened my gravy container it was cold and very very runny similar to the consistency of water. After looking past how runny it was a dipped my chicken in it and took a bite. All I tasted was chicken, no taste of the gravy. I have never been more disappointed. I will never get the chicken basket at this location again. I have never had any other issues with this location and it is located in a very convenient place. The staff all look and act like they would rather be somewhere else. It never hurts to put a smile on. read more

This is one those old throwback DQs. I really liked the rustic interior and just the overall feel. I love the ice cream and came in for a two blizzards. They make them full and mix them well. That is all I ask for. I would stop in at this place over McDonalds if one is driving through the area. read more

About as good as you can get for a DQ. The parking lot is bizarre, but I guess not a huge deal. Perfect for a spot of ice cream after a day freezing on the slopes at seven springs. Service and food quality was excellent. Bathroom was well kept. Other note is that it closes at 9 most days. read more

This is a very nice Dairy Queen, located near the Donegal exit of the PA Turnpike. It has a lodge type feel to it, and over the years we have taken quite a few rides, with the ending point being this very place. The place is clean, the staff is friendly. read more

Any time I order a flame thrower, they hardly put any of the sauce on it, I literally have to tell them "extra" just to get a normal amount. They ALWAYS forget any extras like ranch, bbq ect. You definitely have to check your order before you leave. The lines are always very long. But the food has always tasted good. As for the staff, they close the store super early, when they aren't supposed too. I showed up a half an hour before closing and they shut the drive thru lights off on me when I pulled up....very rude. But it's better than mcdonalds... read more

Stopped there on the way home from my grandparents and was very disappointed. The inside was very well decorated, but the service and food were lacking. I ordered cheese curds with honey mustard and didn't get the honey mustard. I ordered ketchup onions and pickles on my burger and didn't get that. My mom saw they handling food without gloves which is gross considering they handle money. I've experienced better food and service. read more
