This is a backyard bacon ranch, even the bun was greasy

I was just there, I live a quarter mile away. the fries were cold and the sandwiches had no bacon. it looked like the burgers and bun were pre made and sitting in a heat tray. was not happy at all. been going here for years it's been amazing but now not at all. I think they are under new management if that's true, dont make fast food make good food fast. for all who live here and come through I'd rather wait and get quality then fast and get disappointed if I wan that I'd go to McDonalds

Talk about a delightful feeling of a blast to the past! We stopped at this Dairy Queen right off of he Donegal exit to grab some dinner and pick up a famous ice cream cake for our friend's birthday. The inside was like stepping back in time! It was familiar and clean, and the staff was all so courteous - something you don't see as much! We enjoyed a couple of burgers with onion rings and cheese curds! MMM! Thanks DQ!

Food was good. Would not let me trade large water bottles for small fruit punch which resulted in regret unhappy children. Will not return.

They did not flip my blizzard. Google says they have a flip or free rule and the worker said they do not do that anymore.

Nicest DQ I've been to. Nice people, rustic feel to the building. Good for fast food.

The prepared items cover everything from prepared deli salads and cheese to hot sauces and pickles to locally processed meat. I'm not into the butcher aspect, but I appreciate the local and sustainable sourcing. The food is good and well thought out. The space is very nicely designed and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated that they were willing to prepare a breakfast sandwich for me and my partner with the ham on the side. Everybody won, with me getting a vegetarian breakfast sandwich and my partner getting some sliced ham to add to her portion. All told, this is an excellent establishment for a low key outing while you're visiting Ligonier. The hours are extensive, so it fills just about any breakfast/lunch/snack type need. It honestly has the feel of an early stage Starbucks with a friendly "enjoy this space with friends" vibe combined with a hip local grocery store.

What I can't quite figure out is the flow of the place. The way you order, receive your food, and move through the restaurant just feels awkward and oddly unwelcoming. I've also tried several of the sweet treats thinking maybe I just caught the bakers on an off day the first time, but unfortunately they've been disappointing more than once. I'm honestly confused by all the glowing reviews. The ambience is great, but the overall experience just hasn't lived up to the hype for me.

It was a thick beef patty topped with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. The burger was astoundingly juicy and seasoned heavily. Fries were pretty standard but they complemented the burger nicely. Highly recommended, though I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of their burgers. The atmosphere is so rugged, it is actually almost charming. The lighting is dark and there is a bit of a smoky smell to the air, though no smoking is allowed at the bar where we sat. There are also a few gambling machines in the back that appeared to be the most high tech thing in the whole place. The atmosphere was really quite retro, though perhaps not by design. The server (can't remember her name) was attentive and friendly. She chatted with my coworker and I while she prepared our burger on the griddle right in front of us. If you are looking for an authentic West Virginia type of experience, this is a great place to try. Just don't bring your kids, because they will not be allowed in!

They had soft country music playing and country decorations on the walls. Very pleasant atmosphere. I got a loaded baked potato and a grilled chicken salad. The baked orator was one of the best I've ever had. Cooked perfectly and had plenty of melted cheese and bacon bits on it. The salad was BIG. My Mom had fried steak dinner. It came with mashed potato's, plenty of gravy and a side salad. Nice size serving of meat and she ate the whole thing so I know she loved it. We got dessert too. All the desserts are home made. I got strawberry pie (tons of strawberries) and Mom had some sort of Angel food cake with a pineapple whipped cream sauce all over it. Yum. Our server was super nice and the service was good. She came and checked on us multiple times. Very pleasant lady.

This five-star review doesn't come because this side of the country isn't saddled with many replete restaurant choices. But because the food is cooked fresh and the wait isn't normally too long. Just think classic, American diner food, but cooked better. The last time, my roasted beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and beef gravy was so hearty and delicious, I ate it all. It can get quite busy sometimes so I would recommend reservations for larger groups. And every time I came here, I left with a box full of sugar cookies from the bakery to take back home to FL to enjoy. There's no better touch-of-home than a homemade sugar cookie with frosting.
