    Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant Sandwich
    Elizabeth C.

Had breakfast for the first time here. Let me tell you wendys breakfast is slept on! I dont know if it was because I was hungry. I drove up, no line, and ordered the #1 which is the maple bacon and chicken croissant sandwich meal. It comes WITH STEAK FRIES!!! Seasoned perfectly and cooked well. I think ill try to try the rest of the breakfast menu.

Apparently regular fries are the new seasoned fries. Good to know

I get why my husband doesn't like coming to this one. Homegirl kept looking in the bag then finally handed it to me and got stopped by someone off to the side, she asked them if the bag was for me, they said yes. It was my fault for not looking into the bag to make sure everything was correct. I got the #1 just the sammich and seasoned fries. I didn't need a drink as I already had coffee from DB. Got home and saw they're just regular fries. I had myself ready for some tater wedges. The fries were still pretty good but seriously the suckiest thing is having a craving for something, order that thing... to not get what you're craving. Should be a crime to do that to someone.

a fried chicken breast and french fries

We were actually impressed everything was made right/included in our big order but then we come across this.... A hair fully wrapped around the chicken nugget. Zero appetite after finding this and all food was thrown out. $20 of food wasted.

    Hamburger - plain

We recently stopped here on the way through town. The food was very fresh and our order was all good, despite several customizations. Staff was friendly!

Cookie frostie with already some bites out of it. Could use more cookie bits!

I almost just threw up after biting into a semi warm, soggy, extremely greasy tasting chicken sandwich.

I finally got to try Katsu Burger with my son earlier this week (weekday afternoon), and I can…read moreconfidently say it lived up to the hype! When I initially walked in, it wasn't too busy, but it filled up quickly while I was still figuring out how to order. They use a kiosk system where you choose dine-in or takeout, and it's nicr that each menu item had photos and ingredient descriptions so it made it way easier to decide, especially for our first visit. The space itself is small and quaint with a couple tables, but full of lovely art. There's lots of cute anime and Japanese-themed decor, including figurines, plushies, and artwork, giving the place such a cozy, cutesy aesthetic. I also noticed they might be hiring, based on the sign at the entrance. I came here because my cousin-in-law (who lives in upper Washington) mentioned the place, and I needed a redemption meal after being disappointed by another chicken spot recently. Katsu Burger definitely delivered! The burgers here aren't your typical American-style burgers. They don't taste as greasy and sub cabbage instead of lettuce, similar to garnish for a tonkatsu plate. And surprisingly, the photos on the kiosk actually match what you get (no false advertising here!). The employee behind the counter was super kind and helped guide us through the ordering process. I don't think they take cash so maybe that's why orders are placed through the kiosk. For food: My son ordered the Tokyo Tower burger as-is, and I tried the Umami Burger with light cabbage (not a huge fan of crunchy water veggies like lettuce/cabbage/etc.). Both were AMAZING. I have heard of tonkatsu but I had no idea what beef katsu was before this. Thought it was just a regular beef patty, but wow.. it was crispy, flavorful, and just overall delicious. We ordered takeout and didn't even get home for about 30 minutes, but the food was still warm enough to enjoy without reheating. Portion-wise, my burger was perfect: filling but manageable (i think i made the right choice with light cabbage). My son's Tokyo Tower was massive (almost too big for him to handle xD), but we both agreed everything tasted incredible. I was tempted to try a bento box, but I knew I wouldn't finish it if I was already ordering a katsu burger. Next time though! My son already has his eye on the enormous Mt. Fuji burger, so we'll definitely be back. Parking is decent, though it can get busy during the day since it's near a gym and other businesses. Overall, if you're in the Lacey area, you HAVE to try this Katsu Burger at least once. It looks like they have about 8 other locations too in the other towns so if you're not in Lacey, there still might be one nearby you. The burgers are absolutely the star of the show :) I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

I recently moved back to Lacey from Seattle and am glad to see great restaurants from Seattle choosing to open up shop here. I absolutely love burgers, I actually prefer mine no frills and class. But I also love Japanese food--Katsu Burger is the perfect solution when I can't decide between something Asian or a burger for dinner. The Lacey location is at a spot that once served great burgers when I was a kid and was also a Thai joint for a while.

I love the dinosaurs all decorated throughout the drive-thru. They even had dinosaur sounds playing every so often if you dine at their outdoor seating area which all have a bin filled with dinosaur figures. The prices here are fair as well, especially with how current fast food prices are. We went to go order and they have a bell to ring for service but the cashier there was good at ensuring customers didn't have to wait long and took orders efficiently. My boyfriend got their Big Tom while I got their fishwich which I hear the fish and chips are really good but I love fishwiches so went with that for this trip. We also got an order of their marshmallow milkshake and tots, my boyfriend was immediately drawn to the marshmallow flavor as you don't see it often. The milkshake was given to us first which was interesting as it seems they have two spaces where they operate: one for drinks and the other for the rest of the food. The milkshake was delicious but very thick. The food arrived not shortly after and it was nice and hot but extremely delicious. We love the goop, which I was surprised my boyfriend liked as he is not a fan of mustard and pickles but he said it was pretty good. We invited some friends with us and they said they were impressed with the food as well, maybe a tad bit more seasoning or vegetables but other than that it was cool experience overall. We look forward to coming back when the weather is nicer to take better pictures as it was a cloudy and rainy day when we visited.

I went there on lunch today to find out for myself. They had one guy taking orders who seemed to be the owner and one guy working the grill. When I arrived there were already a few people waiting which isn't uncommon. I placed my order for, A double deluxe. Pretty straightforward. Double cheeseburger really. People continued to arrive as we all continued to wait. 40 minutes later I got my burger. Just finished it. Shockingly, it was quite good. Tasted like it always has so I was stoked. That being said, the service was problematic to say the least. Their cashier who I can only assume is the owner was bickering with the guy on the grill and publicly. They were arguing over workflow on what should be prioritized, what he needed, etc. They did this in front of us. There must have been at least six of us waiting inside and out. The lack of professionalism was disappointing. The food was still good but I don't think I'll go back. There are other places who make a good burger like Tom's, or Vans!

This is not a sit-down restaurant, but for a busy person like me, it was just what I needed. The food came out piping hot and in a jiffy. I got the garlic jalapeño dipping sauce instead of plain old tartar, which the kind gentleman behind the counter recommended, and now I 10/10 it too. I am on crutches right now, and since I had a short wait for the food, they kindly suggested that I wait in the car comfortably and brought my food and drink that I ordered right out to me. What awesome, top-tier service!
