Wendy's is in a safe location yet good luck getting out of there during a busy time of day. This facility has above average speed to order and the employees are pretty nice. That said I'll be brief as if you've been to Wendy's, outside of the service, the food should be about the same. As far as sides go, their fries are ok, I mean it's just potatoes and salt with the same fast-food flair as everyone else. I'm not a fan of their chicken nuggets as there's too much breading while the sauces are just ok I suppose. I'm not a fan of FF sauces as it's a lot of stabilizers, artificial this and that and preservatives. Their soft drinks are much like any other chain however where we diverge from the norm are their Frosty's. The defacto seller and most popular item is the chocolate Frosty. They do have seasonal variations that deserve attention. The vanilla incarnation is pretty good too, just as one would expect however in vanilla form. If you're fortunate enough to have tried the orange creamsicle for the limited time it was around consider yourself blessed. OMG this thing was outstanding. From the texture of the Frosty to the forward tasting orange giving way to the creamy ending it was an outstanding effort. To bad it's gone now in June, replaced with the mixed berry Frosty. I can't wait for it to come back. As for the sandwiches I'll be brief as everyone's been to Wendy's. The burgers are good and more tasty than their competitors as the meat just taste better. The veggies are average at best, sometimes I get some great looking lettuce and tomato, sometimes... it looks like it was in a fight with an eggplant and lost. Still the overall burger is good. I've always thought the grilled chicken sandwiches taste better than the fried ones as there's just too much breading. That and when adding bacon to a fried chicken sandwich it's just too much fat for me. So either go basic fried sandwich or grilled with bacon. Overall, Wendy's at this location is above average speed, average food and the employees well I've seen them in good and bad moods but always respectful. One hope I have is the orange creamsicle comes back soon and they served their "breakfast potatoes" (back home we call them home fries) all day long b/c they're better than the fries. I haven't had a bad experience at this location but then again nothing spectacular either. That said, if you're craving Wendy's this will work for you. read more

It's another review on Yelp brought to you by my work. This time hanging out waiting for tires to get mounted at the local Discount Tire. Did my business there and walked a hundred yards north for breakfast. First and foremost, there's barely ANY fast food restaurant that's set up for dine in customer service. I've experienced this too many times to count as of late. Let's just cater to the drive thru folk and call it done. Thing is I'm carless here; left my vehicle attached to a trailer over there for tires. Stood at the counter for a few minutes before getting my order in. Wait, no tea in the dining area? Another long wait to get my preferred drink. Breakfast is served! Except with one word the advertised menu price went up another 50 cents. Medium??? I guess all menu descriptions are for small drinks and side of taters. I'm finally eating. Better that the golden arches. Taters are more seasoned which is nice; cheese options are nice too. Didn't exactly scarf my breakfast but I needed another drink in the end. Literally stood at the counter for 5 minutes. Everybody was hiding! Took a selfie!! Literally could have robbed the registers while making my own French Toast Sticks. Yes, you're looking at this picture right. At 12:50pm my wife had ordered a ghost pepper ranch chicken sandwich and it wasn't until almost the end of the meal that we see mold on her sandwich. This is disgusting and unacceptable, and the best they could do is replace the sandwich, not the I cared for the replacement of the sandwich I just wanted an apology, they didn't even do that. Definitely the last time we come here. No sympathy, terrible service most of the time I come here and they usually get the order wrong when I do order from this location. Whoa!!! Either I ate at a different/improved/under new management Wendy's, or I just used up all my karma points for the next century. Visited here on a trip between San Antonio and Austin in late June 2022. The inside looked and smelled newly refurbished, at least on one side of the store. Very clean, and the service was both fast and friendly. Food came out hot and properly made, with no mistakes. Easily one of the best outlets I've been inside in a while. Either someone lit a fire under the local manager or I stepped into the alternate-universe Wendy's so YMMV!!!! This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. While it would be easy to just write paragraphs about how bad this place was I'd rather bullet point the worst parts! 1.)NO AC in the building at all. It was so humid and hot in there. 2.) It smelt awful. Like god awful. 3.)Many bugs on the floor. 4.)Trashcans left out of their storage bins. The trash juice was dripped all over the floor causing it to smell awful. 5.) the employee who helped us at the counter was a young gentleman who seemed to be high on some substance. His inability to take our simple order was mind numbing. 6.)the bathrooms smelt and felt like a Porta-john 7.)when handing me my drinks the employee stuck his hand. HIS WHOLE HAND(black painted fingernails with gunk under his nails)inside of my cup. 8.)they supposedly limit the amount of sauces you can get. I need 3 ranches to dunk my nuggets 9.)It was so. SO. This is the worse place to order from, at least from the night shift. The food is always cold, and the fries are always dried up. Every time I door dash, they always forget to send my whole order, they always for get something. I ordered a Baconator tonight and the meat was black, over cooked, greasy, and it smelled bad. The fries was cold and dried up, so I threw it away; it was just straight nasty. I took a few drinks from my fountain drink and it tasted old, so I poured it out, and coming out the bottom of the drink was a piece of what look like mildew, hopefully I don't get sick. The staff here has always been fairly unpleasant, but today while picking up a mobile order for myself in the drive thru the manager (or I'm assuming- she wasn't in uniform and was dressed nicer) snapped at me in the drive thru window and lectured me, saying that "you know you're supposed to pick up those orders inside. We have a contract with you." I explained to her that I'm not with Favor or whatever delivery service she thought she was berating, but jfc who talks to people like that? Save your money! AVOID THIS WENDY'S!! I went to this location 5/28 - after sitting in the drive thru for 35 min I finally reached the window and gave them a coupon. Nothing was said at the time, but when I looked at my receipt, the $3.69 had NOT BEEN DISCOUNTED. I called to complain and was told that I had ordered the wrong thing to be able to use the coupon. I pointed out that I was using the coupon to order, she then told me that the coupon was expired - the exp. date was 6/30/21. I went on the drive in with only 1 car I front of me and nobody behind me and ordered 2 $4for4's One of them was to have the spicy nuggets with the ghost pepper ranch cup. Our fries were unsalted and cold and our burgers barely warm. After receiving our bags of food, we had yet to receive our drinks. Worst experience I have ever had at a Wendy's. Go through the drive-through line at 3:15 PM in order a small fry and a medium Coke Zero. I hand my credit card to the guy, he runs it and as he hands it back to me he says that will be $5.72. I'm caught a little offguard as I drive forward i am thinking that seems awfully expensive for those two items. Then I open the bag and find there is no straw for my drink and no ketchup for my fries. I'm at a super raisie busy intersection off I 35 so it's impossible to go back. SO frustrating! read more

This Wendy's is the absolute worst! The Manager Abel is extremely rude and racist! He threatened to call the police on me after I asked for " Extra Crispy Fries 3 times while ordering and once at the window after waiting over 30 minutes with several cars in front of me. He came to the window with an attitude and told me " they couldn't burn or cook my food to my expectations ". I simple asked for " Extra Crispy Fries and no tomato as I am allergic.
