Absolutely awful customer service from the manager. Forgotten food made worse.... I ordered 2 biggie bags, 1 burger combo meal, and a large chili. There was one person in line in front of me. They had me pull up to the second window. Brought the food to me in a reasonable time. However, we get home and we're missing one of the biggie bags. Mind you, they were not busy at all. Of course I ask to speak to the manager, then he blames his employees and says "They're just kids, they probably messed up, I will talk to them." Then he is only trying to figure out what item they forgot. After much deliberation, due to him not being able to communicate or understand a simple complaint of missing food. He tells me to come back (I had told him I live 15 minutes away) and he will give me my biggie bag. I tell him I'm not interested in driving another 30-45 minute round trip to get my food I already paid for and you forgot. That would be highly inconvenient the customer. He says "it's only 15 minutes." To which I responded by telling him that is not a remedy to the poor service given. I instead ask for a refund, he tells me he can only refund if I come back to the store. I tell him, can you just give me a credit for $15-$20 or something? He says no, because we only forgot the biggie bag and you got the rest of the food. I told him to forget about the credit or refund and that I would not be returning in the future. I was just there a couple minutes ago. I walk in and no one greets me. I wait a bit and still nothing. Keep in mind: I was the only customer. Everyone is on their phone and laughing. Rude! after they took our order I heard them say "OH MY GOD!!!" we sat there for a minute and asked "can we go now?" We were told to move up to the yellow line and they would bring our food out. After a few more minutes a guy comes out yelling " Can you move your car up ? you're holding up the line ! It took everything for me to calm my husband down!! Won't be going there again!!! read more

I usually am ok with eating here, the food is ok when you need something fast. The staff is very passive aggressive. The girl taking our order was mumbling so much i could barely hear what she was asking me half the time. Then while we are eating they are talking badly about other customers from the day. They need to work on customer service. read more

I ordered with a free Baconator and free delivery if over $20.00 before tax. Sounds good but not quite. Food was to be delivered in 23 minutes took 45 and fries were cold when delivered. Burger were wrapped and still ward but not hot. My bill from Wendy was $5.05 higher on my credit card than on my receipt. Nice manager at Wendy's she was efficient and cordial. Said the problem was with Door dash. Called Door dash was on call for 14 minutes total two people. Said I will get an email from credit department in two to three days. A bit hard to understand. Lot of effort for a $5 overcharge. I live 10 minutes away probably would not use Door dash again if they deliver late and cold read more

I tried very hard to be a customer here today. I pulled into the parking lot with a car behind me. I went to the drive through and the car behind me parked and went inside. I sat at the drive through menu board for about 4-5 full minutes. I was undecided as to what I wanted so at first I didn't notice how long I was sitting. After I decided on what I wanted I waited...& waited..& waited...I figured, maybe the speaker wasn't working and thought it'd be nice if they posted a sign so I drove up to the window. (Keep in mind I had come from McHenry and passed a bunch of places because I had a taste for Wendy's.) So I drove up to the window and looked inside..there wasn't anybody at the counter except for the couple that pulled in after me. I waited about 3 minutes and decided to go in. Maybe they weren't using the drive through for some reason. I parked, went in and at first the couple were starting to leave. I looked all the way in the back and there were 3 employees all the way in the back and they were finally coming to the front counter. One of the two guys working there who had head sets on..? Came up to the counter and said, I'll be with you in a moment..HE WAS TAKING AN ORDER FOR THE DRIVE THROUGH!! I said, hey? What's going on? I sat in the drive through for more than 5 minutes or so and nobody took my order and when I came in these people were about to leave because they'd been waiting for so long. The kid looked at me and said. Oh, I was in the bathroom...and then walked away..?!? Wt!!! The couple saw I was kind of upset and offered me to be ahead of them but at this point there still wasn't anybody at the counter. I'd like to know why 3 people have to all go to the bathroom together. I left and went to another restaurant. I see this location has a 1 star rating. Note to the owner...get your s##t together or nobody's going to visit your Wendy's. read more

No line in the drive thru tonight. Now I know why. We ordered two chicken nugget kids meals and a $5 biggie bag. Received no straws, no napkins, no dipping sauces (requested ketchup, bbq sauce and honey mustard). One of the kids meals had two chicken nugget containers and no fries. I asked for no cheese or tomato on my bacon cheeseburger. Thank goodness I'm not allergic because it came with cheese. Asked us to pull into a mobile order spot - waited a couple minutes same as the 1 car behind us. And no receipt to top it all off! So can't complete any corporate survey! I guess that's what happens when you increase minimum wage and legalize marijuana. Won't be returning to this Huntley location. Thank goodness for Algonquin! read more
