Haven't been here for a while. Friday at 2:00pm. The front has gotten real impersonal. No menu displayed in the usual spot just pictures. You are forced to go to the kiosk to see what they have. No one even at the front register (1) anymore. Typical impersonal self service and if you are not somewhat tech savvy, well...... That said food is ok for Taco Bell. One of the worst experience I ever had I'm sitting there with my whole family. I order my food on the kiosk. I pay them. I wait 35 minutes finally, one of their managers comes up to me and asks what am I waiting for? I tell them my food order and they look at me like if I got my food already. They're looking around me at my table to see if I'm lying, come to find out they're speaking in Spanish and I understand Spanish saying they deleted my ticket. I love this Taco Bell location in Huntley. The staff is excellent and nice. If I go inside I can see them preparing the meals meticulously. Portions are generous and carefully wrapped and bagged. The inside is really clean. The condiment bar area is always clean and well stocked. Two thumbs up from me. read more

They were packed so thinly and hardly any fillings - few shreds of lettuce not even fresh, hardly any chopped tomatoes and I could not find any sour cream..yikes!! I gotta say this place had bad reviews and I almost drove further because of it! I'm sure glad I decided to be lazy and just try it out. The service was great, yeah they are young people serving you, but I felt like they were nice, precise and efficient. I got my order just right and the food was just fine. This place is like a truck stop so you have a flow of people and your food is made to order not just sitting under heat lamps. Just sayin! Unfortunately the owners and or managers of this particular location, are not at all familiar or have any understanding of customer service. Employees are rude, dismissive, and generally treat the customer as an invasion of their time. This is the closest location to my home but after yesterday's visit, IF I need Taco Bell that bad I will drive a little further. As more items are built and open on 47 (new hotels etc) more restaurants will open. Since this location is very difficult to get to, once there are a couple more options (not burgers) I would not be surprised to see this place closed. I came with a party of 6 to this taco bell location, only one table was large enough for us and had crusted food stuck to the table that WE cleaned off. I'm not to concern about that because I understand that cleaning tables is not the easiest in a fast food restaurant. The food as always was what you expect from Taco Bell, cheap and tasty. The Baja Blast in the dinning room was extremely under flavored and I instantly changed it after taking a sip, which was overall disappointing. Also the upkeep wasn't up to my standards. Garbage can was overflowing, and lids and straws were nearly out. Taco Bell is normally a good clean quick meal, especially at this location. We placed an online order and waited for over 30 minutes to get to speaker because we couldn't back up and people were in double lines then they said it would be atleast a 20 minute wait from that point. We tried to cancel it the Manager said she couldn't help us and it had to be done on the apps. Can't be done. They were waiting on customers inside before helping drive thru. The staff was polite and helpful. The food was best describe as tiny and more importantly cold. I live close to the store so the food should have remained at least warm. I called the location an the manager assured me there food tables were at the correct temperature. The manager offered to replace the order. A few days later I took him up on his offer. The food this time was nearly warm , not what I would expect for a restaurant quality. I have a few suggestions one prep tables holding temperature should he much hotter or turned on. This Taco Bell is great! They are one of the best Taco Bell branches I have ever been to. Their service here is really nice and friendly. Their staff is well-trained, attentive, and decent. They are also helpful and know how to treat their customers so well. Service was outstanding! The place is very busy, with long lines at the counter, and they don't have plenty of seating to occupy. That is why some of the customers need to wait for a vacant table. That is the only problem I observed at this place. But still, everything on their menu is really worth the price. I would really love to visit this place again even if it is a very busy place, just to order again some of their awesome tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and other great offers. I will definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family. Can't wait to visit again and explore the menu. This place is definitely the best in this area. We left to get food at the halftime of a football game. When I got home we were missing my wife's dinner, we checked the receipt and definitely payed for it. We called the restaurant to speak with a manger and the manager asked if we were willing to come back to get the food. I said no we live too far away. She said I'll just coach my team on checking the bag a bit better, she had no empathy and certainly didn't resolve the issue. My wife had no dinner, we paid for it and there was no recovery. I really love Taco Bell's food but the location in Huntley is so screwed up. They are so slow even when there is no one in the restaurant and the orders are always incorrect. you would think that as slow as they are they would get the orders correct. I've gotten the wrong food, not noticing until I get home, I've ordered no tomatoes and gotten tomatoes on my food, they don't listen at the register when you order, so you need to check your receipt closely.
