We ordered the Burrito (Asada) and Taco (Pollo). Both items were prepared with fresh ingredients and seasoned perfectly to my liking. My husband and I stopped in for tacos. We each got two tacos, rice and beans. It was completely tasteless and disappointing. The meat in the tacos was meager and flavorless. This place is new and delicious! There's many locations throughout Chicagoland but they just opened this one up in Huntley. So glad it's close. There's another taco shop a few businesses down but this one is so much better! The prices are affordable, the red & green sauces are fresh, homemade, and delicious! My husband had the Al pastor tacos and liked them as well. We will be back for sure. The employees were helpful and kind. They do take out and have a small dining room. First I want to say the place was spotless. I was the only person in the restaurant. Ordered 3 pork tacos, 3 steak tacos and a side of rice. The tacos tasted good, I ordered Mexican style, however cilantro was piled on instead of meat! Not nearly enough for the price I paid. I waited about 20 minutes for the order. This place is actually open from 7 AM, as they serve breakfast until 11 AM. Been here four times now, everything we've tried from burritos to tacos to tortas and their breakfast burritos are all very delicious . My girlfriend and I are huge tacos Jerez fans ONLY for the quality of the food. However, the portion size for the cost is becoming UNBEARABLE. Not to mention, the inaccuracy of our orders. We used to go to Tacos Jerez 2x a week, and our order was only ever correct maybe 40% of the time. Some of the most unintelligent employees I have ever dealt with. Tried to charge me $80 for 6 tacos, I had to put my order in the computer for them. Once repeated my food order more than 4 times and was greeted at the window with a rude woman who was telling me what I ordered was incorrect???? What happened to the customer is always right???? The wait times are abominable, typically have to wait 25 minutes with absolutely not a soul in line, and then receive an incorrect order. This place needs to step up their game. read more

Went through the drive through and I was the only vehicle in line. Ordered 5 meals for my family. Took about 30 minutes to get the food. They forgot the chips and salsa, no biggie. Not exactly fast, but my order was a decent size I guess. Burritos had very little meat and were loaded with beans. I would personally say the beans were bland. Rice was also dry and overcooked. Hot sauce was not hot. I was hoping to really like this place, maybe they're still working some kinks out since moving here. I'll give it another try and update my review in a few months. My biggest advice would be to add $5 to the cost of the burritos and put some meat inside. If I wanted to order a bean burrito, I'd order a bean burrito. Also, season those beans! Gracias read more

The service was good and quick waited about 5 mins for my order to be done in the drive thru and everyone was super friendly. The agua de horchata was a 8/10 came in a super cute container and overall tasted refreshing and not such a thick/miky consistently which I enjoyed. Food is delicious! Been here more times than I'd like to admit since they've opened! Steak is so flavorful and not the average cubed little pieces. Taco bowl (no shell) and loaded nachos are my go to. The o my negative would be their beans. I can't put my finger on it, they just aren't good. Horchata is delicious and I LOVE how all of their drinks are bottled individually. Did I mention they are open until 11pm!? It's nice having a late night option that isn't the typically burger or Taco Bell crap. Definitely a staple go to spot in our household. read more

Ordered a steak burrito with extra meat and happily paid an additional $4 for the extra meat. When it was placed on the table I could see there was very little steak so I politely took it back to the counter. They said they'd take care of it. 2 minutes later the lady walks over with the same burrito and says that they did make it right. It had less meat than a normal burrito from Tacos Loco, El Fuego or FasTacos. The lettuce and other ingredients were plentiful but the lack of protein is a ripoff even if you pay the normal price. This new taco place in Huntley is so good. I wasn't expecting much, but I'm happy to report it is delicious. Their birria, chicken, Al pastor, and Barbacoa are delicious. I'm not a burrito girl but their California burrito is down right delicious. If you're into salsas, the red and green are both flavorful. Oh did I mention the best part they have the pickled vegetables, which is my favorite thing to eat with my tacos. The taco prices are average, which is nice that they are not jacked up.
