This is the worse fast food restaurant I have ever visited in my life. There is an older lady that works there who apparently has no manners at all. She got our order completely wrong as we ordered through the drive thru. We drove to the pickup window and simply asked her to repeat the order, and she yelled at me saying "I already told you what your order was". We only ordered 3 simple combos and she said our total was nearly $80.00 - Really? I told her that can't be right, and then she basically said "forget this" and just walked away from the pickup window and never came back. WTH! so we waited for the manager to eventually come to the window and fix or order. After waiting for about 15min, our order was ready and it was still wrong. They forgot to put several items in the bag. On top of that, the fries were cold and soggy. I feel bad for the people who will experience this Wendy's. If you just happen to read the reviews for this Wendy's before going, I don't suggest you eat there. I'm pretty sure you'll have a bad experience. read more

We were trying to order and the guy that was at the register walked away to help with orders and there were like 7 people in line, and he never came back and didn't even serve us, so we went the McDonald's next to it. read more

Was very disappointed this Wendy's is usually very good. We try not to eat a lot of fast food but when we do we're kinda picky and this was one that we liked but today's service was bad we went thru the drive thru, the gentleman had to re-due our order twice on the screen we then get to the window and he wasn't any nicer didn't smile, say hi, thank you nothing. We get our food really really fast but had to wait for our drinks after I asked where they were. Well we were heading home ate our food we got the 4 for $4 everything was cold not even a little warm. I was there on 8/10/19. Left after waiting in line over 20 mins. Fast food I think not!!! While waiting, was able to observe how extremely unclean the dining room area was. Many tables were filthy in addition to the floor. Also observed one person waiting for their food, who ordered already, as long as I stood in line and did not get it by the time I left! The only reason this location is even getting one star is because there isn't a way to say ZERO. The WORST location I have ever been to. Stood inline for 45 minutes and was still unable to order...and there was only 4 people in front. Yes it was busy, but in that time they only took orders from the drive thru. Manager said he was the only one that could even take orders. Well that's smart! People on line had to start mobile ordering in to get food. So others were being bypassed. 20 minute wait to get through the drive thru for soggy fries. The girl working the window acted as though taking my payment and handing me the food was a huge inconvenience to her. Asked for a side of mayo and didn't get, as well as no napkins either. For being this close to an amusement park you would think you would get slightly better service for those that just want a quick bite after 9pm. read more

This is truly the worst Wendy's I have ever been to and that's saying something, I have been to some bad Wendy's. We pulled into a drive thru lane that looks like it was designed by someone incapable of comprehending simple engineering. Then we pulled up to order our meal which the attendant proceeded to repeat back to us in the slowest manner possible. When we pulled up to the window to pick up the food, two workers had a full voiced conversation about their 401K. The slow talking worker did our entire order by himself while these two knuckleheads chatted on and on. Then we opened up the bags to enjoy our food. But alas, it was not meant to be, for the fries were unsalted and very cold. My chicken nuggets we're burnt and they neglected to give me ketchup which I specifically asked for. The location is gorgeous. Looks brand new. Staff was friendly. Service is super slow. At 9:15 on a Saturday night, I had to wait almost 15 minutes to receive my order. The whole time I was waiting, the french fries I ordered with my, what seemed like an undercooked chicken sandwich, sat there and became cold. I didn't realize that until I was back on road. :( Not only were they cold, they were coated with a bucket of salt. It's inconceivable that someone could overload them with salt so they are inedible, but that's what they did. Horrible experience. If I'm traveling, one of the reasons I will stop in a Wendy's is consistency. I would expect that a meal from Wendy's that I purchase in NYC or Philadelphia will taste EXACTLY the same as one purchased in Hummelstown, Pa. THAT IS NOT WHAT I EXPERIENCED. Not good. read more

I acknowledge that Wendy's was closed, but it was barely after 10. We have just left Hershey Park, and we were starving. We went to a nearby Wendy's and found out they were out of food. So we went to this location, and we and a couple of others from the previous location managed to get inside to realize that it was closed. We begged them to let us buy food, but the cashier was unwilling to show any sympathy. It's her right to turn us down, but the drive thru was open until 1 in the morning. This means that the cook was still there, so this cashier could've shown us sympathy and just let us buy food. Plus, it's a win-win, we increase the day's profit and we get our food. Hopefully other locations are more sympathetic. read more

The baconador is always a hit or miss. Sometimes its great, but other times its unedible. Most of the time its unedible. When it is unedible the meat looks way to undercooked and has the wierdest taste to it. I noticed that late at night it tends to be shit. I don't know if the cook late at night is lazy or what. Order it yourself and 9/10 you will understand what I'm talking about. read more

I went to the Wendy's on Union Deposit Rd in Harrisburg today. The place could have been used as a training site for new employees, demonstrating everything that could be wrong in running a restaurant. There were 6 employees behind the counter and yet I had to wait at least 10 min. to get an order of fries and chicken tenders. When I finally get my meal, I go to get ketchup and there are no little cups to dispense it into, so I improvised and use a soda lid. I next go to get my cup of ice tea, of course it's empty so I have to settle for a soda instead. Next, I go looking for a clean table, most are covered with spilled soda or ketchup. While I' m walking, I'm careful not to step on the French fries all over the floor along with wrappers and other debris. I gave it 1 star, because it didn't appear I could give it a lower rating. read more

Dan the Manger is an awesome guy! The evening before my order got a little messed up, called in spoke to Dan and he was great with the whole situation he apologized and asked for me to please come by and he would take care of things. He was very polite and professional about the whole thing which is very hard to find in today's fast food industry. So I went back tonight and he made everything right the food was good and hot and correct and he threw in a frosty for me which was a plus and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received. I went to the Hummelstown Wendy's an hour after they opened. Waited about 5 minutes for the surly employee to acknowledge me. In her defense, there was another customer. I had gone to Wendy's on 01/04/2019 to get my mother who is seriously ill a cheeseburger. My mother is 69 years old who has been battling medisedic breast cancer since she was 49. Our mother gets dialysis after renal failure caused by a hospital in WV. Our mother is now refusing dialysis due to her dementia which has caused her to be fearful and without the will to live. Mom wanted a cheeseburger which is the only thing that she will eat at this time ( she weighs about 85 pounds and struggles with gaining any weight). I had gone to the drive thru at this location to find myself waiting for 10 minutes at the drive up, I could here the intercom sound as if it had came on and someone was trying to talk but got no response so I drove forward (after they had me wait for over 10 minutes). The car in front of me was still waiting on his food for another 5 plus minutes at the window. After he got his order a female came to the window to ask me if I had ordered and I said no, you told me to hold on then your intercom made some funny noises after waiting for 10 minutes +. She said well you will have to go back in line and order. She refused to take my order at the window and was telling me to go around the back of the line again. She became angry when I asked for their owners number which she reluctantly gave me a 1-800 number. My mother is dying and just wanted a cheeseburger which this horrid human denied her of out of being a bully, hate, with a strong control issue. This is who Wendy's hires. The doctors said that my mother could go into cardiac arrest due to her potassium levels. They are going to attempt to do dialysis once more and hopefully she pulls through this. I did go well out of my way to get her a Burger King Wopper Jr. which was very fast and welcoming unlike their staff at this Wendy's location. Burger King was not only welcoming, fast, but also allowed me to order her burger on a potato bun since my mother can not eat seeds. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM AT MY BURGER KING. I will never go back to another Wendy's after this horrid experience, I will be forever in memory of being told that my mother may die within 24 hours and having this horrid woman treating me as if I was beneath her over their error and lack of compassion. read more
