Fast and friendly staff at the drive thru. My food was hot, fresh and delicious! I'm sort of shocked by all of the not so great yelp reviews, I've never had a problem at this location, nor any other locations. People love to report the bad, and fail to recognize the good! I prefer Wendy's over the other fast food chains. The buns are fresh, flavorful and substantial unlike the other companies sandwich buns. This is the second time in a week that we have gone to Wendy's that it has been absolutely terrible. OK I went up. I had to wait several minutes because we only had three or four employees in the store. One person was putting orders together. One person was working in the fry area one was doing drive up and was running around doing beverages. The girl finally came over and waited on me. I was by waiting like three or four minutes and it was like only two customers in front of me waiting for the food. Then I ordered my stuff she has to leave to go order somewhere else and then she come back and then she had to wait to get her into the register. I put my order in. I finally got my food however when I went to sit down my junior bacon cheeseburger was cold the same temperature as the lettuce and tomato, which is absolutely impossible. My husband's chicken sandwich was cold. The french fries were custom made. They were made with no salt yet they were barely lukewarm. Then we got a coffee drink and a soda, and that was fine. The whole time I thought was uncomfortable was the fact that I believe it was a manager was an Asian lady. She kept complaining to all the customers about how the employees relate they supposed to be at 4 o'clock here I walk right in front of them at 4:30 435. They never come on time they won't come to work. She had a lot negative negative to make about her employees which has most people say the employees are reflected by the manager or the manager is reflected by their employees. It was cold. I took my sandwich back first tried to say that the food was cold as the burger was cold because lettuce and tomato was cold which is impossible. Can you put a scolding hot burger into a sandwich? It's going to melt the cold cold lettuce and tomato but it didn't. It was cold. Then I sat back down again. She fixed it, and it was still look while my husband was close with everything back she offered to put the food in the microwave to reheat the french fries the nuggets and the sandwiches. I said no I want fresh food. Then she had the kid make french fries instead of him making a fresh basket of fries for french fries he put the french fries he had already in the area with a boxing them up for meals. He took all those out and put them in a fry basket and dumped them back in the fryilater to ref fry them which to me pretty sure that's a health violation somewhere in there. And then the other girls were complaining because they had to take and make all the food over and like I was a big deal that's what happens when you put cold vegetables on top of the sandwiches and I said guys excuse me I know you're talking about me. I said will tell you food does not get cold by putting lizard tomato on top of it doesn't make any sense. The food has got to be hot in the first place after the third time we finally end up getting the food. The fries were hot. The chicken nuggets were hot. The burger was warm, but the chicken sandwich was still cold. I'm not sure what the issue is but they never gave me a receipt. I am so angry. I'm not gonna bother going back and asking for long, but I will say this much this is the second time this week I've been at the Wendy's if the food has absolutely come out terrible I don't know what to do but she spending most of her time complaining about her employees that don't come to work. Don't show up on time I don't even know what the deal is, but if your employee don't come to work, then get rid of them and get employee it will come to work. I think this will definitely be the last time will be coming to the Wendy's in Franklin mass they keep talking about closing different places. They should definitely be closing the one in Franklin and the one in Norwood cause both of those two stores are horrible. read more

The food is fine but the service needs a major overhaul. They completely defeat the purpose of mobile ordering. I placed an order for 2 biscuit meals and one extra item at around 8:15am to be picked up for 9:00am. I arrived at exactly 9:00am and instead of my order waiting for me, I ended up having to wait an additional 10 minutes. I could understand if it was busy but I was the only customer there including drive through. This has happened multiple times in the past at this location. I finally had to say something. read more

i've had OK experiences in the past at this location, but lately it has been sub-par. went yesterday around 1pm, there was a huge backup of orders inside the restaurant. waited at least 20 minutes for food and it was ice cold. but after waiting 20 minutes there was no time to have it remade. I just went into Wendy's and a new manager thought she was the shit! We were waiting at a table for the line to shorten so we wouldn't have to wait in long as long. Slow service and will mess up your order. I can overlook those things sometimes, but this place is disgusting. The drink machines have something caked on to them and you have to press your cup onto it in order to get ice. Most of the drinks are unavailable in the machine as well. This Wendy's caught my eye as I was driving along Route 140 looking for someplace for lunch. It's got a fancy exterior and a renovated interior with a few plush chairs, upscale seating, and a "Wendy's Wi-FI" area. Looks aren't everything. The best part of my meal is that it came out quickly. Then again, it's not that hard to assemble a pre-grilled piece of chicken, a bun, a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, a scoop of no-longer-crisp fries and an empty cup. The fancy Coke machine was out of some of the soda selections. The first booth at which I tried sitting wobbled more than the tables in the dining area of a whale watch boat. The second one was better but messy, as was the floor. But the men's room was clean. If you want to make a former math major grind his teeth, just handle paying for an order like I experienced here. My total came to $7.69. I first handed the cashier 4 pennies, then a $10 bill. She rang in $10 input, realized I gave her 4 cents as well, and then she handed me $3 change. I've never been happier to see a fast-food place than this one, when I was here for a business trip and arrived in Franklin at 12:30 am, and nothing else was open in the area. This place has the drive-thru open till 1 am. I don't think I've been to a Wendy's in over 10 years, but their spicy chicken sandwich was still as good as I remember it being when I was little. Yes, the lettuce was a little limp, but the chicken was hot and spicy and I was happy to eat something instead of nothing at 1 am. They seem to have added a lot of salads on the menu (4 of them) and a lot of things with bacon. There are also chili cheese fries. The drive thru was fast: by the time I finished ordering on the speaker and drove to the window to pick it up, my food was ready. Thanks microwave? Anyways, your standard fast food at slightly than higher prices (or maybe that just the norm). For one sandwich and one burger, we paid around $9-10. No fries or drinks. Went here with my kids for lunch. They are twins. I ordered 2 kids meals. Pull up to the window, they give me one kids meal, plus the rest of my order. Tell who, I presume to be, the manager, that I ordered two kids meal, and she then argues with me that I only ordered one, when there was clearly two kids meals on the digital screen when I ordered at the speaker. Trust me lady, I haven't ordered one of anything in 7 years since they were born. I was given my second kids meal, but we weren't given the second drink with it. Rude service. That woman should managed that place, since when do you argue with the customer? In the off chance that you had forgotten to charge me for it (which she did in fact charge me for it), I doubt a 4 pc chicken nugget meal is going to make or break it for them. read more

My previous review of three stars was definitely an understatement for this Wendy's. Recently, Wendy's built a brand new, modern fast food restaurant on a previous vacant plot of land right on busy Route 140 in Franklin. It's a very nice restaurant inside and out (haven't been inside, but because the lighting inside is so bright, I have seen the inside), and the service is consistently fast and efficient. Through the at least five times I have come here, not once has it been all that busy (and most fast food restaurants I know of are VERY busy on any mid-Saturday or mid-Sunday), and the service at the drive thru has been rapid speed and the food has come out well and delicious (true with most Wendy's). The layout of the exterior is much easier than the closest Wendy's to compare it to... the Milford one, where there is a giant hill and and a very odd and confusing layout. The staff here are friendly and don't even flinch with the $2 off coupons.... they just take it right off. No waiting around for the manager to come! Is sort of interesting (as I mentioned in my previous review) that the prices here are a wee bit more on mostly everything on the menu than other locations. Not that it's a big deal, but they should keep in mind that they are a FAST food place. Turning left out of the end of the parking lot can be sort of difficult, but otherwise this Wendy's is hassle free and beats the socks off the Burger King across the street. 4 stars for Wendy's in Franklin. read more

This Wendy's is the WORST!!! When they got our drive thru order wrong, forgetting to include one of the chicken sandwiches we ordered for the kids, we called the restaurant once we got home. The guy who answered the phone had absolutely no sympathy for us whatsoever. Despite me telling him that one of my children now had nothing to eat for dinner, he could have cared less. Told me to come back IMMEDIATELY if I wanted him to fix "whatever my problem was." Told him we lived too far away to come back tonite. He hit back with the classic, "so?? what do you want me to do about it?" It proceeded to, "So you're never coming back here? ... ever? Is that what you're telling me?!" The tone in his voice now becoming belligerent and condescending. Keep in mind up to this point he never once said he was sorry for their mistake, or that he would refund the sandwich, or that they were even at fault. The moment I raised my voice to tell him how upset I was with his customer service, he hangs up on me. So, so very mature and professional. I called back and once again he refuses to talk. I ask him what his name was and he refused to give me that information. I asked for the name of his regional manager, but again he said nope. He said to call the number on the back of the receipt and again hangs up. I called back but after one ring, click! Hangs up again. Childish and cowardly behavior from the store's manager. And for what it's worth, the food we did get was awful. Fries were cold, dry and unseasoned. The junior cheeseburgers tasted like they were sitting around for a while. The baked potatoes were hard and the cheese was cold. Is this review of the food influenced by my bad experience? No, it really was a sorry excuse for a meal. Do yourself a favor and make the trip up 495 to Milford. The Wendy's there is worlds better and much friendlier than this dive. I did contact Wendy's corporate and reported the manager, so we'll see where this goes. read more

Came through the drive thru last night. Got a bunch of food to go for the family after a long day of not feeling good and not wanting to cook. I got a baconator. Specifically ordered it with no ketchup. Saw it say no ketchup on the screen. Not only did we wait at the window for over 15 mins for our food. When I get home and open everything. There's ketchup all over my burger. Tomato on the spicy chicken sandwich that we ordered no tomato on. And I ordered a 4 for 4 for my daughter. Said a double stack only cheese and mayo. I went to this Wendy's and I had no problems there, the employees seemed to be normal fast food workers, just doing their job so they get paid minimum wage. I ordered a chicken homestyle and baconator fries, the homestyle was really good in my opinion. The baconator fries were amazing I totally recommend trying them. It's a fast food place so view it through the appropriate lens, but this isn't a great Wendy's. A majority of the time my orders have been correct, but there have been a few instances in which they've forgotten some items, gave me the wrong item (e.g. wrong lemonade, wrong size drink), or I've had to wait in excess of 20 minutes. Haven't been to a Wendy's in years and had a craving to try a burger. My husband picked them up. He asked for mine with ketchup, lettuce, tomato and onions. When he got home and I unwrapped it, there was a tiny piece of lettuce and tomato, one ring of an onion slice, and mayonnaise - not ketchup. Very disappointing. I have never had a problem here at this Wendy's location. First, I find that the order board is a good three or four cars from the pick up / pay window. But I have never had a problem with it as I find this place not to be crazy busy. Or perhaps they just move people through faster. Great people, but have you ever noticed as you pay at wendys, they hand you your drinks, without straws and only gives you the straw with the food. As if teasing you with their refreshing drinks but nope no taking sips yet you need to wait. The Grease in the fry-o-lator seems to be changed less often thane the oil in my car. The fries are greasy soggy and cold. This Wendy's has the best dining area I've ever been in but the food doesn't match. Nuggets are usually cold and stale. French Fry's are usually cold and soggy.
