I would probably have given another star but one of my pet peeves is dirty tables. It's not a small dining area. I'm not a fast food kind of person but there a simple things that once you walk into an establishment should just standard. For instance, this joint feels grimy, the floors and walls feel covered in something that is not clean. It looks very downtrodden and definitely needs a cosmetic overhaul. When ordering there is nowhere to wait for your food, it comes at the same register you ordered it from which means there is a lot of foot traffic in the small ordering area. It gets frustrating when you are trying not to get in the way but there is nowhere not to. That was a yucky sentence to write. As for the food it is always just 'meh.' I don't add salt to most of my food but here I had to put it on the fries. We took our food to go. This location failed in three major areas: 1) I had to wait 19 minutes in the drive-thru. There were about 6 cars in front of me, so that works out to about three minutes to serve each car. Torture. 2) They got the order wrong, which I didn't discover until I got home. I ordered a 10-piece Crispy Nuggets and a 4-piece Spicy Nuggets (just to try them). All 14 pieces were Spicy. More torture, because I didn't like the Spicy ones, but I didn't feel like driving all the way back there to exchange (and probably wait to do so). 3) They gave me the wrong change -- the guy shorted me $1 (which he corrected after I pointed it out). I am a glutton for punishment. My family wanted Wendy's for dinner, and like a damn fool I decided to go back to this location. I have not been there since my visit on 8/31 (see attached review) and once again I decided to try my luck with the mobile app. Selected my items, paid online with credit card, and submitted order. Confirmation screen comes up and advises me to pull up to drive thru for my mobile order. As previously mentioned, I would NEVER use the drive thru at this location. They are notorious for messing up your order, and I prefer to settle everything in house. I went inside up to the counter and said I have a mobile order and gave my name. Says she cannot find it, asks for my name again. She looks at screen all puzzled, says she cannot find it and asks for my name again. Without exaggeration, we went through this exercise about 7 times in less than a minute. Sweetie, my name has not changed while I am here - why do you keep asking me my name every 10 seconds??? At this point I start to question her cognitive abilities - dead giveaway should've been that at this point I noticed her name tag was pinned to her shirt upside-down! WTF. So I placed the order on mobile app over 10 minutes ago, shows I PAID with my credit card (showed her my confirmation screen on my phone more than once), so at this point they decided to verbally take my order. Once again, so much for ordering in advance to save time! Finally after several minutes, my order finally "showed up" on their screen. No one needs this kind of aggravation to get dinner for their family. Get home and once again my family is entertained as I regale them with my harrowing tale of purchasing dinner from this location. Towards the end of dinner I receive an alert on my phone from Wendy's - your order is now ready. Huh?? I was a few towns over so I allowed my Google GPS to bring me to the nearest Wendy's. The minute I looked at it, I realized this was the Windies I said I would never ever return to. They hired the nastiest young people to work here. Their attitudes are absolutely disgusting.
