I ordered a Cobb salad. It had too much shredded cheddar cheese and the chopped up tomatoes looked transparent and old. I also ordered a cup of water with ice. The water looked dirty, it tasted like rusty pipes. I dumped it in the sink and I ran water next to it, their water was not clear. I feel nauseous and I had diarrhea 2 hours after eating lunch. A while ago,I got food poisoning and all I ate that day was the chili and baked potatoes from this place. Now coming back and seeing how dirty their water is... it makes me feel that my suspicion was valid that I got it here. My single burger combo that I ordered for the road, came out slower and at a higher price than a similar (and more generous) In-N-Out lunch that I had in Placerville the day before. I ordered their new caramel cold foam ! I have ordered that drink in the past. The lady taking my order probably heard me wrong because when she handed me my drink it looked like a a cold brew with foam, TASTED LIKE STRAIGHT WATER. Didn't get no receipt, went in and asked for a caramel cold foam. She remade it and handed me wtv that is ! She just pumped caramel syrup, some foam and water...it was nasty, threw it away! If you charge nearly the same as a starbucks coffee the quality should be there as well. Can't beat the deals that they offer here. I get the four for $4 option. Which would remind me of an adult happy meal next to the five for five dollar biggie meal. I like this meal because you get a choice of a burger or chicken sandwich with nuggets and a drink and fries. Just enough to hit the spot and not feel sluggish after having a meal and then having to go back to work Utilize the drive-through during this visit clean location on the outside was a little busy during the lunch hour but they held the pace pretty decent. I don't know what changed management wise but this place looks more well kept and cleaner than the last time we were here more than a year ago. Fully stocked utensils and condiments for self service. Food is typical Wendy's. Sufficed my cravings for the baconator. But the staff especially Ayvee or Aymee (not sure if i got that right, I couldn't make out her name badge clearly) but she's this cute Hispanic woman behind the cash register. Me and my family were going home and we passed by a Wendy's, since it was one of our favorite fast food places we decided to go there. The food was amazing. Let's start off with the Burger, 10/10, really tasty and a juicy patty. The fries were also a 10/10, it was cooked perfectly and was really salty. And the chicken nuggets, perfectly breaded and also juicy, 10/10 again. I didn't try the chicken wrap but my dad said it was really good. The ambiance was also amazing, clean floors and clean tables. I went in on June 21st to order this breakfast sandwich. I got to work and opened it in my meeting only to be greeted by mold! Disgusting!! At 6 months pregnant thank goodness I didn't take a bite! I went back to the restaurant later that day when I got off from work only to be treated rudely by the staff and they spoke a different language making me completely uncomfortable. The manager snickered at me when I asked for my receipt back (which I'm glad I took photos of) and told me I'd be refunded in 7 business days. I reached out to corporate via Twitter AND their 800 number and no one seems to want to refund me or help me. Fast forward to now July 5th and still no refund. Not to long ago we discovered Wendy's has cookies, and OMG am I addicted lol I don't normally have a sweet tooth but their sugar cookies are heavenly delicious!!! I even drove to two different Wendy's to find them and both locations were sold out for the day. I tried again the next day and it was a success . Today I got 4( not all for me, although I would probably eat them lol) along with 1 chocolate chunk and 1 double chocolate. Each cookie goes for $1.39 +tax you will not regret it! read more

It's the can't take orders right and courtesy what's a loaded baked potato isn't It with everything not just chives. Well I got a baked potato with chives only not loaded. I even asked for it loaded on the speaker. Seems to be a miscommunication and the fact they want me to come back for an up charge of the item I want on my potato it's crazy. The worst. I spent almost 30 minutes in the drive-thru line, made my order, then, when I got it? The fries were flaccid and the burger was nearly cold. There was no way I was going to eat this food, as I'm not interested in food poisoning. Floor was absolutely covered with piss, the toilet had shit sprayed all over it and the bathroom smelled like a dead fish. The Wendy's on North Texas St in Fairfield is about 4 Mike's away and charges about .60 to $1.50 LESS on items across the menu. Don't believe me? Go check it out. Or, better yet, just put together an order on the Wendy's app, don't actually to through with the order, but select the north Texas street address and check the prices, then do the same thing for this address(Central). I asked a manager about it at this Wendy's, he said they have higher prices because they're located "right off the freeway", as if that seems fair to either the people coming off the freeway OR the locals who live around this Wendy's. He also took my number and said he'd call me. Two weeks later, take a guess on whether I got a call? Nope. Pass this Wendy's by, you'll end up paying a lot more for your food, especially if you have a family in the car, it adds up per item quickly! read more

Absolutely Horrified to get Raw Chicken. I have been eating at this Wendy's for a couple of years. I always get the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I have had to get a refund before for being SLIGHTLY under-cooked, and a few times for some gross Gristle in the breast meat. On Sunday May 17th, I convinced my husband to try his FIRST ever Wendy's Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich. They were having "2 for $5" which is unheard of because 1 Sandwich costs well above $9 for the meal. He usually does not each chicken sandwiches at all. I didn't realize that we pulled through the drive through at 9:50pm, just 10 minutes prior to closing. They usually are open much later, but due to the pandemic, they must be closing earlier hours. As soon as we ordered, they tried to deter us by saying it would be a six minute wait. We said that was fine. Even though no cars were behind us, they asked us to pull to the side. We waited merely 3 minutes, and they brought the food out. We were staying at a nearby hotel, because we are in the middle of moving houses and had not set up our furniture yet. We arrived to our hotel. I told my husband I forgot to ask for a knife, because I usually cut the sandwich in half before eating to examine it for gristle, etc. My husband started eating his, and I had a first bite. It was juicier than normal, and I told him that it's usually darker in color on the outside breading and was more juicy tonight because it was freshly cooked. As I took my third bite, the texture was WAYY OFF so I spit it out. As soon as I saw the Pink Meat I yelled "ITS RAW!!!", only to look over at my horrified husband's face to see he had almost finished THE WHOLE THING! He has never had this before, so he was unaware of what the texture should be. I was so afraid he was going to be sick. I drove back over to the Wendy's and at 10:30 pm and sat and honked in the drive through as they ignored me. The young man who had taken our order earlier finally came to the window. He claimed to be the manager when I asked to speak to one. He began to act rude when I explained the situation, and I ASKED HIM "Why are you being rude?" He then told me he was not being rude. This is when I began to record a video. He told me he would re-make the sandwiches. I told him no, I want a refund. He then began to give me cash. I said I did not want cash, and I wanted it back to my card, so I have proof of the refund in the event my husband became sick. I gave him, my entire full sandwich back (minus 2 bites) And the raw pieces left of my husbands Sandwich. I was so upset, I did not look at my receipt very well. Upon reviewing my credit card statement, he ONLY REFUNDED ME FOR ONE SANDWICH! He was extremely rude, and maliciously took it out on me for COMPLAINING. They deliberately served RAW CHICKEN to try to close up Shop Early, and then screwed me on my refund. I will be contacting Corporate, and will NOT rest until this is handled appropriately, and not by someone who is rude, and who claims to be a manager. PLUS he probably kept the $5 and change on the original cash refund. Ridiculous. If you watch the video he asked "Do you want me to throw those sandwiches away for you?" PLURAL sandwiches. I probably should have kept them for EVIDENCE! I am just so sick about the whole situation. He seems to be asking a lot of questions to his co-workers to be the "Store Manager". I remembered their ad for a $1 burger so we went to this Wendy's, only to be told they didn't know anything about it, and didn't seem very interested in it anyway. I looked it up and my mistake, the special was only for a week and we were a couple of days beyond that. So we ordered 3 regular small burgers from the disinterested staffer, 2 of them in a small combo with fries and drink..which came out to the outrageous price of $35!!! Burger was ok in an average fast food type of way, fries were actually quite good, and I did like their soda machine which dispenses many different types of soda....but was it worth the price? Nope, and next time we go across the street to Del Taco instead. read more

zero stars!! I Googled where i can get a good bacon cheeseburger. Google said Wendys was number 2. Since I have a Wendys close by, thought I'd give it a try. What a mistake. I had a baconator which is supposed to be many slices of bacon on hamburger. I got what looked like the cheapest hamburger and 2 thin bacon slices. The soda machine that had choices for drinks where most of the selections were out. Ended up not getting the drink I wanted and a terrible bacon burger. They have terrible wait times my main complaint is the management of this Wendys...high turnover always have new employees, the one constant is the idiot manager. She is very rude and doesn't care about customer satisfaction. One incident really made me fumed the salads are all made ahead of time but thos Wendys always forgets a main ingredient and when you tell the manager she just chuckles and act very rude, I know they don't get paid that well but the way they treat customers they are getting paid too much...horrible place.. I used the restroom here while waiting for my order. A bathroom will really tell you a lot about the management of this place. Both restrooms were absolutely DISGUSTING. I had to confront the manager on this. I am especially concerned for the employees that use this, 1. Because they obviously haven't taken any initiatives to clean and 2. The urine that was impossible to NOT touch your feet then being tracked through the place. & touching that sink to even wash your hands. This list can go on. I usually use this drive through since I live local and love frostys. I will never be coming back here. The state should be called. You handle our food people. We eat from this place. We've stopped here twice on our adventures & each time were waiting a very long time. The first was via drive thru & the second we ate inside. ~ During the second visit we observed the employees working very slowly, with no sense of urgency. This is fast food along a busy freeway, so people want to get in & out quickly. We waited several minutes for an employee to come up to the counter to take our order. She quickly disappeared once we ordered, making it difficult for us to ask for ketchup or advise the drink machine was out of ice. The 2 families before us just walked out without ordering. We finally ordered and got our food. I asked for some straws , the front cashier went to the back and 5 minutes later came back with no straws. My nuggest were cold and looked old. This was my first time going to this location. I was pretty disappointed. The soda machine ran out of ice and the dispenser button was sticky. The garbage containers were overflowing and the bathrooms needed attention. It was apparent that cleaning was not a high priority which is concerning during COVID. There no napkins in the dispensers and no condiments. The only thing salvaging this experience was that the food was hot and tasted fresh.
