The food was hot, fresh and yummy. The atmosphere not so much. They had 80's rock playing in the dining area, and a Spanish station complete with commercials playing in the kitchen area. It spilled out into the dining room so now there were two competing stations making holding a conversation or enjoying a meal a tough proposition. Just placing an order required repeated myself over and over because the girl working the counter could barely hear me over the blaring music. Pick a single station and turn it down. I usually love Wendy's and consider it safe and reasonably high quality for fast food but this location is disgusting. Their AC was out for several months in 2024 and they had one portable swamp cooler blasting at the counter line. Slow to take orders. Burgers look like they were hit by a steam roller. Fries taste terrible. Employees are sweaty (no AC) and the whole place smells. This is one Wendy's I would never eat from. read more

This review is mainly for the kind people who work here and the even kinder clientele who saved us when our car broke down right outside. We stopped here to get iced tea and when we got back in our car it would not start. Several customers tried to troubleshoot and help us and they saved the day! We were able to continue onward with the help of some good Samaritans. On a whim we stopped at Wendy's last night to grab a chicken sandwich, also decided to share an order of fries. Apparently they discontinued the grilled chicken sandwich so we had to settle for a flat-pounded piece of chicken that was breaded and fried. ugh. The fries were old and dry and just awful. I'd be embarrassed if I offered that quality of food if I owned a restaurant! It's a shame since in the past Wendy's was a tad above "other" fast-food establishments. Food and service were great but the place wasn't very clean. The entire restaurant floor was covered with a substance that made it EXTREMELY sticky; do bad that my flip-flops stuck and had to be removed in order not to bust them! I walked out and saw the hand sanitizer so I used that and decided to order. I just wanted a quick bite as I was driving to tucson. I always liked the value menu JR bacon Cheeseburger so I ordered that and waited. When my order was delivered I asked for ketchup and they guy said they didn't have any. How can a fast food franchise have no ketchup????? When I got in my car I found my burger like warm, the cheese ice cold and not even a half slice of bacon. The worst burger I ever ate. I would strong recommend avoiding this Wendy's. I had to tell them 9 times how I wanted my burger made and it still was not made correctly. When I asked the manager on duty for the number of the district manager she refused to give it to me. She informed me that I would have to call the store manager. She would repeat what the sandwich was suppose to do but still did not get done. I did not even get an apology for what was done. When I did call later the store manager gave me the district manager's number and I did not reach him as well. I asked for a double cheeseburger no ketchup, no onions, no pickles add bacon They gave me TWO singles that had everything I had asked to be left off on it. Cashiers was friendly but bathroom had no soap and tissue was all out of containers. When I pointed out to manger how could employees be washing hands - she stated her employees can wash their hands somewhere else (which I would bet does not occur given having to leave the bathroom) and stated they don't have the key to put the tissue in to container. So this will be a review of their breakfast. I got the honey butter chicken biscuit because i e had the Whataburger one and love it so i was comparing it to that the Wendy's one was gross. My chicken was gross and it's not even honey they put on it it tasted and smelled like syrup. I also got the breakfast fries which i had high hopes for and think they would taste good but mien were cold and tasted old. Even though i waited in line for my food for 10 minutes everything was cold. Also tried the frosty coffee and it was just basic ice coffee nothing special. The breakfast items too are actually kinda pricey for being breakfast food i spent about $12 for all of these when i could've went somewhere else and for better tasting breakfast fast food for a better price. The employees are very rude. We pulled up and waited 5 minutes with no one saying anything. Typicallt if they're very busy someone will come on and say sorry and ask for some time. Not once did they do this. After waiting for the 5 minutes we said hello. After no answer we called out again and we got a very rude give me a moment. In the front there was at least 2 girls just standing there with head sets talking to each other. When we pulled up most of the employees were standing around talking while we waiting for our food. After a long wait they finally came and took our payment. They told us the total, took our card, paid and closed the window without a word. And, I have to say:: This is the best Wendy's ever, they where so friendly and we where the first customers, they where so great and smiley while accommodating all of my food allergies {there are several} they get 10 stars!! Also, have had the greatest experience with all the Wendy's' with my eating situation {allergies to gluten, lactose & egg}...they are very very accommodating!! I know we are in a recession right now, and because of the pandemic a lot of people have chosen not to return to work because of stimulus's and entitlements - but - if you can't run a restaurant properly - close it and retrain your employees. I went through the Deming, NM. Wendy's drive thru and ordered a simple 5 dollar Biggie meal. When I got to the window and paid, they first gave me a wrong drink - which was replaced. Then they asked me to pull around the corner and park for the food. I pulled around and parked - waited, and waited - 15 minutes passed before I figured out my food was not going to come. So I got down and went inside with my (full still) drink (no one is ever given a receipt at Wendy's here) - to see about my food. My drink was my receipt - and I was right - no food was even prepared for me. When I went in, two people ahead of me were complaining about either their food, or like me - lack of it. I waited another 10 minutes after a clerk told me they were making my order. It never came. All the while I noticed the surrounding area outside had become a home for a small tent city of I guess homeless folks - some asking for money. The restaurant looked nice and the food was decent for fast food. Why one star? Well they were having problems with the register so it too forever to even order. Asked for ours to go and they gave it is on a tray like we were going to eat it there. Not a huge deal. My biggest issue was with the manager. She didn't treat the employees with respect. She didn't have a problem telling them they were filling drinks to slow or degrading them for being late to work in front of all the customers. Someone needs to teach her how to be respectful. This is quite possibly the worst ran Wendy's I've ever been to. One time I had to wait 5 min for someone to actually take my order and 10 more minutes for the order. Another time the soda machine exploded on me because someone put the cap on wrong. Another time they weren't accepting cash. Another time the drive thru was literally closed.Multiple times the soda machine hasn't been working. They've gotten my order wrong. At night there seems to be a big lack of customer service. Numerous times I would order a salad and get no dressing, chicken nuggets and no sauce and an attitude when asking to make sure they add these items to my order. It is a shame because I love the food, but hate the experience. Being friendly goes a long way but it hardly ever happened there during my 20 or more visits.
