THIS IS A DENNY'S! It's nothing special, literally just a Denny's, which was entirely unclear when…read moreordering online and was told I HAD to order online through DoorDash. Then had to wait over 30 minutes for four burgers, one of them being the kids cheeseburger (meat and cheese, no sauce), which took the longest. I watched 5 members of the staff stand around in the kitchen, eating, joking, on their phones while one team member (possibly the manager) ran everything out to tables. Needless to say, even if you're starving, don't waste your time unless you're actually looking for a Denny's, even still, the food tasted like day old, greasy s*** and I'm a big Denny's fan. It was also extremely hot inside even though it was 90 degrees outside.

My daughter wanted the salmon dinner which was standard fare so, she helped me eat my burrito instead . My burrito was way better . It had everything but the kitchen sink in it . Sooo good . From my perspectives, compared to other Chinese places in other larger metros/cities, this place wouldn't stand a chance to compete. But..given it was a place in such a small, very low population town...it served its job of helping tame my craving for Chinese food. I returned to my hotel room and my truck smelled like burnt grease and later my room would too. I proceeded to eat my food and I was very disappointed, I couldn't finish it! The rice was like wild rice, had that burnt taste, no eggs or veggies and a few slices of beef which didn't have much taste to it other than grease. It was after 7pm and they were closed so I couldn't return it, I called and he answered again and proceeded to say "takeout order?" After I tried to explain to him my dissatisfaction and the quality. I felt as if he was just not wanting to accept responsibility for just throwing out a crappy meal at the close of business. The egg rolls were hard, burnt and plain right out nasty! I also added the potato and sausage soup for an extra $1.99, and it reminded me of a less flavorful version of Olive Garden's soup. Considering the prices on the menu, I was surprised that soup or salad wasn't included with the meal. My husband ordered the steak, and it was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. We each ordered a soda, but instead of receiving fountain drinks, we were each given individual bottles. Really solid burger. My only complaint was the bread. Not the best bread. The two ladies that run the place are super nice. And I also got a piece of their angel food cake which you can see in my pic, sitting on top of the register. It's pretty awesome. Obviously, very homemade. And there's also free wifi! Owned by the town of Deming and operated by the Luna County Historical Society, it serves mostly sandwiches and salads, We both had the brisket sliders with rainbow cole slaw. The food was excellent, and our server, Mia, was a delight! We hope to return again and again!
