The worst Wendy's experience ever. From start to finish. We ordered on the app and got a deluxe jr cheeseburger, a Bacon jr cheeseburger, a small frosty, 10 nuggets, and a baked potato. First we pulled in the drive thru 11:30pm on Friday July 26th and at the speaker was told "welcome to Wendy's, I'll get to you when I can" a little surprising but ok... then came back and I said "I ordered on the mobile app" and she replied "well did you use a name?" I told her my name and she said to pull around. Not the best service but still not a big deal. When I got to the window she handed me our frosty and dangled it with two fingers to the point it flipped upside down. Glad it had a lid! We got our food and while the nuggets, and the baked potato were fine ( I mean it's fast food I'm not expecting much) the cheeseburgers were really bad. First the buns on both were so hard that I couldn't eat them, the burgers were room temperature, and looked terrible. Dark brown on the edges and not "grainy" in the middle of the patties. Needless to say I didn't eat either one and judging by the service we received I didn't think it would matter if I went back. Terrible Service. A young Black woman with bleached hair shut the window & walked away from me last night, Monday 11/18 at 6:20pm. I was behind a Tahoe and waited for 16 minutes to get to the window. All I ordered was a frosty. I said "what took so long. This was very slow." She slammed the window door and walked away in disgust so I drove off. I usually don't leave reviews, but the attitude from one of the workers at this Wendy's is just unbearable. Every time I come in, she acts like she hates being there--and takes it out on the customers. I try to be polite, but she's always rude, short-tempered, and just unpleasant overall. The food was terrible. I ordered a late night meal leaving from a family event and I ordered Baconator double, large fries with no salt, medium pineapple mango lemonade and a 4 piece honey bbq nuggets. All the food was cold and my fries had salt on them. I didn't find this out until I got home which is 5 blocks away about 10 minutes. It was late and I was tired so of course I didn't go back so I called 3 times and no answer. I then reached out to customer service to put in a complaint and didn't at all receive a call the next day. I literally had to heat up my food last night and after eating the food I started to have an itchy throat that lasted the next day. I pulled up to the drive through, no "we'll be right with you", no "welcome to Wendy's", instead I got "it's going to be a long wait, I'll be with you when I can". I only waited about 30 seconds after till she took my order, but good lord was she miserable! I ordered a six piece spicy nugget, the bag was covered in the sauce and the nuggets seemed as if they just came out of the refrigerator. I've never in my life given 1 star... and that's high since that is the lowest option that can be given. I waited (wasted) 20 minutes in line to order 3 things (drink, nuggets and fries) through the drive through. The order taker cut me off twice mid-order to step away and address something else. Came back and asked me to repeat the two things I had previously ordered. On the THIRD attempt I asked why this seemed so challenging and he got snippy with me as though I was the one who put him in the situation. He gave me a speech about shortage of employees. I left since it was obvious they couldn't handle anything more at that time. Although unpleasant, this is not on the employee. This is on leadership. I've had plenty of both good and bad experiences here. More bad than good recently. 75% of the time it's been awful in the last year. 25% has been great. Ordered through Uber Eats. Waited an hour, 3 drivers sent by Uber order never ready. Fourth driver issued. I called the restaurant. Angry manager yelled at me, talked over me, didn't listen. Said she gave the order to a driver already. No driver arrived with my food. She said someone stole the order. I said you gave it to the wrong person. Not my problem. 4th uber driver shows up, she refuses to give him the food. Had to cancel order after waiting over an hour and a half. She hung up on me 3x and refused to listen. The next person ordering asked for a baconator, which is a very popular menu item. And guess what we heard on our side of the line. You wouldn't have guessed it. I tried this Wendy's again last night. Thanks to Jacob, host at 6:35 pm, and his crew, his service and food prep were excellent! Medium burger combo, small chili, classic chicken sandwich, sour cream and chive potato, and 3 medium frosty's were all great. Jacob handled my ordering at drive thru rapidly and professionally. Effiecient Drive Though and Good Product Every now and then, I'll forget something at home and will have to swing by the house at lunch time to pickup whatever I forgot. When I do, I'll swing through the drive through at this Wendy's down the street and pick up a burger to go. Always great service. Prompt and efficient and have never had a bad product or screwed up order. Strongly recommend, particulary to those traveling up or down I-77. It's right at the Exit 28 exit and you're literally one or off the interstate in less than a minute. read more

So friendly from ordering, eating in and leaving from the dinning room, which was super clean. They hire people with disabilities as well- for example the individual cleaning the dining room. He was doing such a detailed job and welcomed me with a smile and hello. As a community, it's so important to support businesses that do this because it is few and far between. Rude and messing up orders, went back in to say something was wrong (somehow got a baconator without bacon) employee seemed like she was trying to win by saying I ordered it with no lettuce or tomato so that's what I got when I said there was no bacon only then did they give me two strips and said bye. Nothing remotely resembling an apology or the actual proper order. Seemed annoyed they had to make more nuggets at 6:45PM. Very upset how things was handled last night called to report that they served us spoiled meat and was told we was lying then was asked did anyone go to the hospital ? We said no we threw it up .they said o well if you just threw it up then you didn't get sick from us .like it was not their fault . They need to train their employees better on customer service , not call the customer a lier , not put it off like we was not made sick by their food when we was. I've been here twice during the pandemic. The first time I went was around May and none of the employees I saw from the drive through were wearing masks. The second time was in October and every employee I saw was wearing their mask as a chin guard. I'll never go here again because they clearly don't take sanitation seriously. read more

This location is closed all hours of the day. I'd recommended not to use their online app to order since there is no notification that you're not going to get your food. This has now happened three times in the last two weeks. If you must, drive there and wait in drive thru to see if anyone is able to take an order. Then have a backup plan. read more

This is a pretty busy Wendy's location, especially via drive through. For once I opted to get out of the vehicle with the kids. The restaurant is nice and clean with a decent rating. Service was friendly and the cashier did a good job of catering to the kids. The Original Chocolate Frosty is always a sure bet! read more

There are so many additional negative reviews about this place but yet I can see they continue on with their terrible customer service. Well, here is another one! They fixed the place up aesthetically but the customer service is horrible. Snarky, snotty teenagers working there. And a whole grown ass adult female manager who doesn't give a damn about the snotty attitude of her employees. I came through the drive-through this evening. I don't like to admit, but I go through fast food drive-thrus often. Usually when you order a combo they ask you if you want small, medium or large. Not good for my health, but I usually order a medium. This time they didn't ask - she just totaled up my order. So then I had to say "can you make that a medium please?" Because she didn't ask me, she had to cancel the entire order and told me to just drive around. I guess this annoyed her. When I got to the window there was no greeting, no hello, no how are you? They just hand me my bag out the window. I say to the young male snotty teenager" i'd like some ketchup and salt please" he says I already put some in the bag with a very grim look on his face. His attitude was so thick you could cut it with a knife. So, I said, I would like some more please he grabs a bunch and hands it to me. That's when I say to him you need to check your attitude. He starts giggling at me rolling his eyes and just closes the window and walks away. Meanwhile, I see what I assume is the manager standing there. Because she's a whole grown ass woman. Ordered my food was asked if I wanted sauce I told the man yes & what kind... got to the window to pay he took my card didn't say a single word to me not a SINGLE word. Nor did he give me a receipt... I asked him if I could have sauce he rolled his eyes at me & threw a sauce in the bag.. wrong sauce but at this point I'm ready to go home.. get home my food is wrong. & not only is it wrong it's COLD & I live 3 mins away max.. my nuggets were hard from being recooked so many times my dog wouldn't even eat them.. fries looked like dried burnt thick noodles.. just not a good experience here.. lemonade was good though! Just piss poor attitude from the dude with glasses at the window & they really over cook their food wasn't the first time I've gotten old food there.. needless to say I won't be going back there.. but hey there's a Taco Bell across the road & a McDonald's that would love to serve you! We have had bad experiences with this location many times, but for some reason, decided to give them another chance tonight. Ordered and paid online, received confirmation and headed to store. Tapped "I'm here", waited 10 minutes and went to drive through to see where to pick up our food. Manager said he never received the order. I told him I have a confirmation email, asked if I could show him at the window. He yelled at us, refused to look at my phone and said there was nothing he could do if he didn't have the order in his system. Yelled that we were holding up the line, refused to help, no apologies, nothing. The night manager at the Cornelius location needs to be fired....we have never been treated that way before. PS- could not get the managers name while he was screaming at us, but was working on Friday evening, October 28 at 9:45pm. Fire him! read more
