We were able to park close by and get in before the big crowd. Barley seems like a happening place. An upscale Irish Pub, for sure! The set up is a bar with a decent amount of restaurant booth seating. Of course, there were tables of different sizes available, as well. We were given a 10 minute wait after meeting with the Hostess. There was alot of activity around the bar and lots of drinks coming out of the bar well....always a good sign! When our time was up, we were quickly escorted to our table. We were each given a menu and a drink menu. Lots to choose from on both menus (see the pic below) I ordered the chicken sandwich with caramelized onions and my son ordered a Chicken Pot Pie. He had a beer and we both had water with a lemon. The food came rather quickly. I was immediately taken back when the caramelized onion was not on my sandwich. I was going to ask the waittress to fix it but it was far to busy and it was not a big deal. Of course, I would have enjoyed the onion but "no big deal". My son's Chicken Pot Pie was a good size and was thrilled with it. We both ate everything on our plates. Our waitress checked in with us a few times to refill, which was nice and came to take the plates away after we were finished. We did not get any dessert. To be honest, we did not see a lot of dessert plates coming to other tables, either. We were thinking maybe people leave to get ice cream at one of the nearby establishments. 5-Stars Price: Fair Parking: plenty near by Vibe: perfect...I would like to watch a game, someday, at the bar Pepsi/Coke: Coke Would I come again? Sure...we enjoyed ourselves and the food and service was excellent

Everything our party of four ordered was a disappointment, starting with an ice-tea cocktail that was undrinkable-- our nice waitress took it off the bill. My grilled salmon on a bed of rice arrived as dry as the Sahara, surrounded by burnt roasted carrots -- at least I think that's what they were. My husband's steak he ordered medium rare was also way overdone, served a block of with cold mashed potatoes. The overly sweet Apple Pumpkin Bisque (for $9) went uneaten after each of us tried a spoonful -- it was more like a bowl of pie filling than soup. Even the dessert, bread pudding with some whipped cream, was gloppy and unappetizing. This is a great place to go if you are fasting.

That got my attention. At that time, I had a wonderful salad with chicken tenders that was superb. This time, we came in during the craftsman fair in Concord, and after looking at the stalls for most of the day, we were ravenously hungry. I had a chicken breast sandwich which was a truly beautiful piece of chicken breast, with caramelized onions and all the trimmings. I also had a salad on the side. My other half, had a juicy, tantalizing burger with some of the best fries I have ever had. Yet another one of our guests had the chicken tenders, light and tender and crispy which was extremely tasty. I can understand some of the previous comments about having to wait to order. The manager, who attends the cash register in ordering, he's doing 14 things at the same time. She is extremely busy especially in peak periods. However, she is quite efficient. As in most places, vibes also has a staffing shortage problem and that should in no way diminish the quality of the food as well as their amazing service to the community. Overall, we had a really good time. Great food, nice ambience, and we sat by the window and people watched during a beautiful day and a busy time at the Concord craftsman fair.

We sat outside and enjoyed a marvelous day of late spring. The flatbread pizzas are delicious. We ordered a bacon and pesto and a little honey concoction and we just gobbled two of them. Washed it down with the Safe Space and the Concord Brew IPA. Memorable day at this place. Will return.

Here, that means potato chips with cheese, bacon, fresh jalapeños & sour cream/salsa on the side. Not a spectacular dish. I'd go so far as to call it bad. I'll note that 2 people did seem to enjoy it or they were really hungry. Friendly Staff and the double Safr Space IPA was solid (4.5), squirrel fights nut brown was ok (3), both the festbier & the blueberry wheat meh (2.5ish) I feel like going IPA & pizza here would make for the most optimal visit - choose wisely

Wonderful little lunch stop!…read more It was full of locals and regulars and on a wait for lunch. At that moment I knew I had picked a good spot! We chilled with the folks up front for a good bit before getting a table. It seemed we were the only people that had not been here 30-40 times before. Most people didn't even want menus and the sweet server ladies just brought them food without conversation at all. It's kind of old school feeling inside. It's an open kitchen and you can see all of the action. Inside is all wooden and rustic. It reminds me of my grandmas house in Camden TN. Not sure why. It's just really comfortable in here to me. The tile and fireplaces make super cozy. This place has some of the best chili that I have had in a long time. I dig the fact they give tortilla shops automatically with the chili. Win!! Thick and meaty and oh so filled with spice and love!! Cheese on top was a nice touch too. Really liked it! My French dip was fucking killer!! So damn big too! I could only eat half of it because of the the fire ass chili I had already eaten. French fries were battered type. Nothing wrong with that!! I drove around with this sandwich for two days of travel and ate it on the road later. Stupendous French dip!! C had an open faced roast beef sandwich. FIRE!! The green beans were so pretty and fresh too. She could barely get 1/3 down, lol. It was a ton of food. Economical! Hometown feel! Good people working and eating here! I love it!! I'm not even sure I could find the place again. I sure am glad I did the first time! '26 -39

The two others had the scallops and were very impressed. One of our party has a tomato allergy and they were careful not to have it on the dish. Then came dessert time. I called ahead to make sure they had carrot cake because i had read great reviews on it. It certainly lived up to those reviews. One of our guests was too full for dessert, but managed to get a spoonful of both of ours. My friend had the Boston Crean tart, and we all declared this a winner also. They were very accommodating as I had booked for four and had to call them before we came in person's plane was delayed. When I asked, because of the reviews I had read, if they would have carrot cake that evening, and the gentleman said as long as I'm here we will always have carrot cake. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a delicious, well prepared and well presented meal that is as fresh as can be. The service is wonderful and we will be back.

I had recently been wondering how the Gas Lighter was holding up, and decided to take my wife there for lunch today. Boy, what a pleasant surprise! My wife is a second generation Greek American, and we both know Greek home cooking. We started by splitting a bowl of their Avgolemono Soup (chicken rice lemon); the absolute best we have ever had! We both ordered the Lamb Gyro, and it was delicious! The Tsadziki sauce was wonderful...loaded with garlic, and the Gyro serving was very generous. The French Fries were also good, crisp, but not greasy at all. My wife had Onion Rings with her Gyro... home made, lightly breaded, and very tasty. The desserts were next. They offered Baklava, Greek Rice Pudding, and Galatobouriko (a very special treat, made with crispy phyllo dough, and a firm custard, with a syrup). I had the Rice Pudding. Every bite felt intentional. The rest of the meal was equally flawless. My Chicken Caprese sandwich and my husband's Club sandwich were excellent, but the dumpling appetizer just stole the show for me. My mouth waters writing this and remembering!
