Omg, it is so hot here in Columbia! With this heat, you definitely need a cold drink and that's why Wendy's was on my radar, haha. I purchased the Oreo Brownie Vanilla Frosty Fusion. Even though it didn't look like the picture, hey, as long as it tastes yummy, it's fine with me:) The taste was actually great. It had plenty of Oreos, which was a plus for me! This is something that will definitely cool you off while you're out in the heat. The drive-thru was fast, no long wait. I was greeted, and the food worker was very pleasant. Service is trash. The drive thru needs major work. The wait between cars to order is a minimum of 5-10minutes with only one car at the window as if they're trying to keep drive thru time down. Food was ok. Fries could've been hotter. read more

I used to eat at Wendy's a lot a few yeasts back. Twice a week at least but in the last few it's maybe every other month just because it was convenient. There were three managers and not one of them knew what was going on. Didn't know whose food was whose, drive thru was slammed around the building and front like was out the door and they're sitting there with their hands in their hips moving like snails. Asked for a baconator no mayo, they gave me a single patty with 2 slices of cheese and 2 small pieces of bacon, and still didn't take off mayo. Terrible service, and when I went back to get the burger fixed they re-served me the same now cold burger after trying to unsuccessfully wipe off the mayo. awful service and bad food. read more

Ordered ahead and waited in drive thru for 46 minutes before deciding to leave. The drive thru only moved 2 cars. This was by far the slowest drive thru I ever experienced. This also was the same location, on a previous visit, that gave me a cup in the drive thru, and told me to go inside and fill my own drink. Definitely a unique experience here. read more

Wendy's used to be my favorite restaurant, but since Dave Thomas died, their food decisions seem to be based on cost and not flavor. They have ruined the flavor of their burgers by using romaine lettuce instead of iceberg lettuce. They also changed the recipe for their Taco Salad, so now it just tastes ho-hum. I still like their Chili and their Frosty's, but they will probably find a way to screw them up too. Dave Thomas was all about serving food with great flavor. Since he died, so has the flavor of Wendy's burgers and other items. Oh yeah, my Taco Salad had the 'heel' of a stalk of romaine lettuce in it - so much for quality control. :( read more

Why are all the Wendy's in Columbia so terrible? Lights off at the menu, line not moving, but some waiting at the window. The two locations on Garners Ferry are the ones I go to, and it used to be the one by the VA Hospital were not always on their game, but I've noticed a change over the last few months, especially the morning crew. They have their act together. Always fast, friendly, and delicious. The one up the road great Food Lion used to be on point, and it's still ok just not like it used to be. I think they had a management change and it might be that they're still adjusting. I'll still go because it's still good service and food, just noticed a change. Went through drive through. Ordered a double baconator with no cheese a large fry and a Dr.Pepper. I sat in line for 20+ minutes. Payed for my food and drink then they tell me they don't have the drink I wanted. That's fine. Get my food and the woman told me to get out of line. Burger was a regular burger. Single piece of meat. Two pieces of cheese. And a splitter of ketchup. $11 for a burger I didn't want nor can eat. Will not be returning. read more

Been to Wendy's drive thru twice in last month for breakfast. Both times only a brief wait for the speaker. Food was hot and accurate. Their breakfast seasoned potatoes are amazing. Staff has been much more friendly than neighboring fast food restaurants. Good job yall! read more

I ordered the homestyle chicken BLT it was not as flavorful as it looked. My fries were good. This is just my opinion but I think the way you make a sandwich can make it taste better especially in this case. On this sandwich cheese should go on first on the bottom bun then the meat, lettuce, avocado sauce, bacon, tomato, onions, ranch and then the top bun. I bet the sandwich would taste a whole lot better if made this way. Matter of fact I'm going to go back and rebuild my sandwich that way just to see. Oh and we had some 50 cent frosties. I'll give it two stars honestly if I could give it one 1/2 I would. My food was hot and nothing was sloppy however I asked the man for two sour creams for my mom's bake potato & he gave me a little attitude saying he already put two in the bag when in fact he did not he only put one in the bag and Instead is two sour cream I get two bbq sauces which sucked because I had to to the food lion to get more sour cream also the tropical berry lemonade was slack ! It didn't have any water added to it, it just tasted like straight syrupy it was undrinkable. I had to add water to he when I got home. So overall experience was okay. read more

Late and tired and needed a close by so ventured over here. What a mistake! How could you screw up a baked potato? This thing seemed way old, like a year old potato sitting in a basement and cooked so you can't tell it's age and with burn marks. Smothered it with butter but it was horrible. Customer service sloooooooow, but friendly. Seems that the employees had to get their meals first though. Can't figure out why the employees eat here. Chocolate frosty was tasty but too thick for a straw and I had no spoon so a combination of using a straw to scoop and my tongue. Only had the 2 items but perhaps that's a blessing and why I'm still standing and not in a hospital bed ( after eating here). read more

I'll think twice before I visit this Wendy's again. Manager behind the counter was barking orders and when a customer in front of me and I walked up she rudely told us we would have to wait a minute, they had orders to get out and were changing over the register. Unless I walked into the wrong place, I thought this was a fast food establishment and they were supposed to get out orders! Her "sorry for the wait" was as forced as it could be when talking through your teeth. Then a customer came back with an incorrect order, I thought she was going to explode. She told the other girl to take it in the back and tell them to make a real cheeseburger, so now the cook starts dropping the French fry vats and containers as loud as he can. It was almost a circus show. It was the worst customer service I've seen in a long time all for a small salad and Frosty! read more

I had the absolute worst fast food experience ever tonight at this Wendy's location. Actually it was the worst experience I've ever had at any public establishment. It was a little after 8 when I arrived. There were two girls standing at the counter waiting for service but no cashier. An employee walked by the register, said I'd be right with you and proceeded to walk past customers waiting to order to go into the dining room to fill salt packets. I didn't realize that the need for salt packets in the dining room was so much more urgent than assisting hungry customers that are ready to order food. Guarantee that filling the salt packets was part of that employees side work to be able to clock out and that was FAR more important than helping customers. Another cashier came to get the register but there was some confusion as to which register she could use. The employee that was trying to mediate the situation was yelling across the dining room to the other cashier to try to figure it out. He then proceeded to exclaim that "he was ready to go!!!". All the while the apparent manager was in the kitchen in the weeds trying to keep the restaurant afloat amidst all the employees that obviously have no clue what an actual work ethic is nor have any desire to try to make any effort to treat their customers as welcome guests let alone acknowledge them. I proceeded to turn around and leave the restaurant mainly because of the terrible service or lack there of, but also because I did not trust this staff to make my food. I went through the drive thru today, and the lady at the window must have had a bad life. She was rude and got short with me and when I got short back, she handed me my phone and then called me a bitch as I was driving away. I went in and handed the food back and asked for my money back and to speak with the manager. She told me that the lady said I called her a name first. This is first of all untrue, but very unprofessional and the manager proceeded to say that if you cursed at her first basically that is what you get. I never cursed at her first and I was just blown away. I will never eat at this location again. read more

Worse service ever. First of all the place smelled bad when I walked in. The girl at the counter was flirting with an older man when I was trying to put in my order. When I got my order the ranch sauce she gave me was open and it spilled all over my hand and she didn't even say she was sorry. When I asked for a manager it didn't even phase her that I was going to complain about her. This is one of the WORSE locations in Columbia.
