I don't eat fast food often but when I do it's Wendy's. I've been here and handful of times and every time I go, I'm so disappointed. Once, I ordered their 3pc chicken tenders. I don't know when it was cooked, but it was so dried, it was more like breaded chicken jerky. The lettuce of the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger was wilted, patty burned and bread soaked with grease. This place is a disaster. They are always running out of items and condiments, the local staff act like you're doing them a favor by eating there, and the owners are always yelling at the employees in front of customers. It's on the way home from work, so it's easy to stop by the drive thru, but there is always confusion amongst the staff as to what you ordered and any special requests you may have. (like ranch or ketchup) This location would be way better if the employees were replaced with self-service ordering kiosks. read more

I live closer to this Wendy's, so this is the closest one near me since the one in camp springs closes early. This location never does the right thing they always have a problem with fixing orders that have alterations. The customer service is never genuine. I HAVE been here several times and found the building to smell like weed. I WORK at a food store where everyone has an understanding of foods and food safety. This is the worst Wendy's I've every been to. The staff is rude and always gets my order wrong. Don't go through drive through unless you have 30 to 40 minutes to waste. Then by time you get your food the burger is hard and dry and the fried food have been re-dipped and taste horrible. The fries are the worst every time I ask for a spicy chicken i end up getting a home style. The whole crew needs to be fired!!! When you complain the managers thinks it's funny. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!! I would expect the behavior and service to be this poor at the Temple Hills location, but they are great! This Wendys here in Clinton is HORRIBLE. I work 12 hr shifts and when I get off work, you wanna grab something quick. For the past 4 visits when you go through the drive thru they always have a hand written sign that list everything they are out of. This particular night they were only accepting credit card transactions?!?!!! They had a sign on the menu board that list 8 condiments that they were out of. I ask, How are you all NOT ACCEPTING CASH?! The young lady said cause we ain't. I said ok. May I have the nugget meal with a medium fry and medium strawberry lemonade and please can I have some ketchup and that will be all. She says we are out of ketchup now and fries and we can give you 4 extra nuggets, and we don't have any strawberry lemonade. I said ok I dont need the extra nuggets, can I have a frosty. She said we dont have anymore Frostys either. I said never mind thank you and drove off. This was the 4th visit for the pass month where they are always out of something. This restaurant has horrible service me and my fiancé had a bad experience. We we were gonna dine in. They gotten our order wrong twice.then tried to make the sandwich over( oh let's not forget with his bare hands guys!!) we ordered two Asiago meals and he put mayo instead of ranch with no cheese or bacon... then it end up falling on the floor. The manager was very nasty to us and his employees. I would never recommend this establishment for anyone to take themselves or their loved ones here to eat. On october 16th 2017 stopped at wendys in clinton md it was the most horrible experience i ever had .i orderd a number 2 which is a double burger when i open the bag i was completely horified that they would serve sombody the mess they served me being a distict manager for a fast food chain i would fire everyone that was on that shift !!!! If I could give zero stars I would. This is the absolutely worst Wendy's in Maryland. My family and I had stopped here to grab a quick bite to eat. We sat in the drive thru for 30 MINUTES only to find out that there were no cars besides the 1 car in front of me. Once arriving at the window I ask to speak to the manager for an understanding to why we were waiting for 30 MINUTES with NO customers in line. The manager on duty had the audacity to tell us that " the cashier needed a break". He was not apologetic and actually had a smurk on his face as if Im wrong for finding it obserd that the drive thru shuts down during business hours so that an employee could take a break. I then proceeded to ask for the General Managers name so that I could make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else and also to inform him/her of the obscene actions that are taking place at this establishment. I am kind to give them 2 stars. Ordered a spcialty drink blackberry lemonade. Wanted refill. There was a charge for it. I gave my cup to the cashier with about a third cup left. She threw it away. It is the policy. But she could have told me to hold on to the cup since there was still a third cup left. She never apologized. The bun for the burger was overdone and try. I have only eaten at Wendy's for less than 5 times. Fair foos. Expensive. Terrible service. Some fast food is doing so much better. See the parking lot and drive through lane and you would know. Worst Wendy's ever! I waited in line for 30 minutes and there was maybe 7 cars in line. When I finally got up to the speaker to order they said there was a 4.5 minute wait for spicy nuggets. I said that's fine since they were slow anyways. After 15 minutes I finally get up to the window and they say there's still 3 minutes on the nuggets and that I needed to pull ahead and wait! What a joke. Reminded me why I never come here because it's always like this! They need new management and new workers because they aren't nice when you order or when you get to the window. They just shove the food at you and don't say sorry about your SUPER LONG WAIT! I should have pulled out of line like two other cars in front of me had to after they ordered.
