Walked in and asked if the chicken tenders were good she mumbled yes there's about 6 employees they would not take my order so I walked over to the flat screen and after looking around, realized they were not available in the menu so I informed her I can't place my own order because you don't have the tenders listed in here. of course she didn't believe me so she came over and banged around on the menu like she was Frustrated. In a world that's out of control expensive for gas and groceries and pretty much all the basics for living your most simple life (June 2022), value is priceless. My quest for the best $5 drive thru has taken me to many drive thru chicken sandwiches and $5 give or take covers 1 sandwich, if that. Wendy's $5 biggie bag with a double stack, fries, 4 chicken nuggets and sauce, and a small drink comes to slightly higher around $5.58, if I recall correctly, but it's a decent amount of food and variety making it a TREMENDOUS VALUE! Not sure it'll last with the price of everything doubling overnight, so go get it while you can. Staff was quick and friendly. Fries needed to be fresher and warmer but everything else was fresh and hot. read more

This is the 2nd Tuesday evening in a row that we went to the drive thru for a late dinner. The food is always good. I don't know if it's so late and everyone is trying to go home, or if the employees are just playing around because the manager is not there. There has been no greeting at the intercom or window. Everyone inside working are just laughing and carrying on instead of paying attention to the customers. Hubby was trying to ask for salt but the lady just shut the door on us. We needed to knock on the window to get their attention. We only come here because it's the closest to our church after our Tuesday evening group. If I could give them no stars I would.I ordered a pretzel bacon pub cheeseburger It was suppose to come with a burger, lettuce, tomato,bacon and onion rings. Hit or miss here! I usually end up here because my daughter wants something and we are always in the area...this location stays busy. I can tell you this location is super consistent with mediocre service. There is always long wait times, drive-thru and inside the store. Almost every visit the order isn't completely fulfilled...the sandwich is incorrect or something is missing out of the bag. I had a specific encounter with a Manager while placing an order in the drive-thru. My daughter wanted a hamburger with only: ketchup, mustard and pickle...simple right. So I ordered the: 4 for $4 bundle deal. She chose the Jr. Cheeseburger bundle which includes: a four piece nuggets, a small fry, and a drink for $4. "May I have the four for $4 Jr. Cheeseburger - on the sandwich I only want ketchup, mustard and pickle, thank you" Fast forward to receiving the order, the sandwich has cheese on it. Of course I returned it and I repeated my special order to the Manager and she said, "if you do not say you don't want cheese on the sandwich, they will put cheese on it anyway because that's how it comes" What????? This is fake news I thought...but she stood by her word. And because my daughter frequently orders from here she already knew what to expect... "Watch ma, they are going to only give you one napkin." Sure enough...all that food and only one napkin was in the bag. So consistency...but the right consistency though. Aye yi yi... This parking lot is fairly small, but additional parking is available in the surrounding lots. Be careful though...cars are always moving in and out around here. The restaurant is located only steps away from a shopping center and about a half a mile from Chesapeake Square Mall. Would I recommend this restaurant... well if you don't have too high of expectations and if you are ordering something "as is" you might think they are the best. I went here around 10:50am. Maybe they were still preparing for lunch because my nuggets were cool and really soft and flimsy. They weren't their usual crispy, delicious, hot nuggets. Even though it was 10:50am their lunch does begin at 10:30am so I still expect my lunch to be fully hot and ready. They lock their doors at night and don't put up any signage. Online order says to go inside but you have to find out on your own that you actually have to get in the drive through line, which is insanely long. Omg no! The only reason I came to Wendys was because my kid got a coupon for a free junior cheeseburger and value drink. We went through the drive thru which was super packed. I ordered everything first and once we got to the window I asked to use the coupon to have the burger and drink removed from my total. For some reason they couldn't figure out how to apply the coupon and ended up giving me an extra burger and drink which no one wanted. It ended up in the trash at home. The Dave's double I ordered with bacon came with no bacon I discovered once I got home. The fries were soft, greasy mush and everything on the burger was just mush. Never ever ever again will we be having Wendy's. read more

I live 4 hours from this location and my car broke down. Because of COVID, the inside was closed but I didn't have a car to go through the drive thru and I had walked to get food for my kids. First of all there was no greeting and when she couldn't hear what I said she just said "I can't hear you" in a rude fashion. To make matters even more unpleasant when I pulled to the window she was looking the other direction as she said my total and took MY MONEY and returned my change. It would be nice if the attendant would confirm my order especially since she didn't do from the speaker.. just saying "is that all" and "we on have small or large" and "the total is blah blah". Worst Wendy's I have ever been to in my entire life. This location was out of soap in the men's room and they did not have replacement soap. My question then was how were the men who were cooking the food washing their hands?!? The entire location was filthy. Trashcans were overflowing to the point that trash was on the floors. This is probably my worst experience in a Wendy's ever. I ordered a Taco salad, my husband ordered a cheese burger combo. First, the chili was runny and when I poured it over the salad and took my first bite, there was no taste. We took it back and exchanged it for a burger meal. It came with a single ring of onion. Still pretty tasteless. Worst burger ever. The restaurant was filthy a pack of straws on the fixing table and by the.looks.of it, it had not been cleaned in hours.
