Spicy chicken sandwich, literally 0 spicy. No complaints, chicken barely flavor or juice but was still tender. Chicken was pretty hot inside. Fuego fries, very different flavor from takis. Very limey, really spicy, but still good. Definitely the kind of seasoning you'll see in a chip 4/5

I bought 3 different meals which included nuggets for each mean I'm. I got one sauce for each meal I asked for one more ranch and was asked to pay !! I did not have extra money I hate this type of greed from big corps .. I'll never eat Wendy's again . I promise!!

This restaurant is on the larger size. We came on a Tuesday night around 8pm. The drive through line was long so we ordered inside. That was just as slow because a customers coupon was not working. We ordered the Kraby Patty meal. They ran out of pineapple frostys. We settled for chocolate. She cgave us our neal and told us they ran out of chocolate and were in the process of making more. We decided not to wait.

Overall I keep returning - so that says something. Its not perfect but nothing is... The worst part is the popularity of this place. The lines can be so long. But that is a reflection of the overall value of the food. You have to understand this. When drive thru lines are long I don't go here. I drive down the road to Nations. Burgers are a little bit more expensive there and that extra dollar or two could save you a 20 minute wait. Its best to go here when there isn't some krazy lines. You can see the lines of the drive thru and even the interior lines just as you drive by. Don't drive in and park if its busy. Go elsewhere. I usually get the bargain basement $5 biggie bags. I believe their popularity is what makes my experience always a good one. The more turnover the fresher everything is. The more expensive burgers and chicken burgers I've tried. The 1/4 lb burger is very filling but the burger patty size is unique and big and doesn't get the turnover that the cheaper burgers get. The last time I went the coke wasn't working so I just got lemonade instead. They have home made ice tea too. I'm not super addicted to coke but if your addicted to the high fructose junk this might be a problem. I feel best avoiding coke and pepsi junk. In Germany nobody really drinks that regularly. Rather they take seltzer water and mix it with some 100% fruit juice. I think Americans should try this more. This location is convenient to the mega church across the way and the freeway. I wouldn't avoid this place unless there is a long line. People working here are always good to me. They are busy so don't expect them to fuss over you but I always feel respected and valued as a customer.

Came here at 11pm with some friends and were greeted with the best fast food service I've ever had. Workers were very friendly, the food was great and came out quick. Very fresh for late night. Will definitely come back again. Quite the delightful experience. Special thanks to workers Bryan and Marilyn. Rate

Apple Pecan Salad wi had to remove the spoiled blue cheese off. And I eat blue cheese often.

I love this location but I got a salad I normally get when I stock up the points to get it. And bam the blue cheese in it is so nasty and I tell u I buy this salad often and 1st time I get the cheese this bad. So I called at 11:30pm we just got our order less then 30 min ago. To tell the person so I even talked to them in Spanish to avoid any language barrier. I didn't say it was expired I said it went bad can be when left outside or exposed to the sun. I buy blue cheese but I never had this nasty super bitter rotten flavor ever. But I just wanted to tell her 1st call she hangs up on me. Then I wait call back explain she goes off saying no all out product is not expired we rotate every few days. Omg I said the one I got is bad. Can happen when it's mishandled. So I get treated like an lying about it so what u want she says a refund or a exchange I just wanted to tell u this and I don't want to deal with u anymore since u don't have the customer service tone and got argumentative just when I was informing you what to do. I will post pics to show how much I had to go through the salad to remove all the blue cheese. It used to be put on the side and I would put it on crackers or on the apple slices or even on dark chocolate after the salad. But never had it this nasty bitter I mean worse sour bitter taste I ever had. And trust me this is our go to place and am risking getting bad service from now on to posting this review. When people call it's not to crank call. I took my time to tell u what happen to my order and in a calm manner. But to raise ur tone and put up a defense am not the health inspector here just well was a faithful customer and how will not order this salad and might have to make a new account since I know how Latin women can be when they get mad at someone. And am Latino too. Sad just was explaining I got a bad batch that's all. I was going to ask for an another one since we can make it to get another but when someone gets so defensive on a simple concern. When people order a treat a dish they often get we can tell when something is bad or off flavor. No reason for any customer service personal to get mad or defensive at all. I at the end said I am going to hang up since all I wanted was to tell u and come get a replacement but now I am better off not dealing with u since ur defensive on a simple comment about my regular salad I always get as a treat. Remember ur an employee u can't control everything and it's not u loss of a customer had an issue with a product that tasted bad or off. Just lesson and I wasn't even mean I even spoke in Spanish to her yet you can tell the tone they use after it during the interaction. My care giver even wanted to go exchange it for me or buy another one I said am I am good can't believe this act this way.

And so one Saturday morning we finally went to have our breakfast date lol at 8 in the morning! Im not really a breakfast person on a daily basis but we consider this our "date" and we only get to do it once in awhile anyways so why not!? Lol l actually love that since we got in around 8 no long line to wait so we got seated right away even though there were a lot of people dining already. Coz everytime I pass around here when I go shopping in the area, there's always a long line around lunch time. We ordered the eggs Benedict combo meal($27 for two) where you can split what type of eggs Benedict you want. I got the classic and husband got the chicken katsu. Weird right? Lol well they have like 9-10 different types of them so you pick your own. It was a big serving so it was just perfect for the two of us. Mine was just perfect the Canadian ham and egg plus the hollaindaise sauce was so perfect and creamy and then with my coffee oh it just hits the spot yummm . Service was fast and staff were very attentive. I love their decor too and looks really clean. We left happy and satisfied. To add more. We came back after 2 weeks! This time it was on a Sunday lol Ordered Ribeye w chimichurri with 3 eggs and toast combo w hash brown. Hubby and I shared again. And again... it was perfect! We left happy and satisfied. Highly recommend.

HOWEVER, today while eating at the bar with my partner, a staff named Alison was sweeping right nearby us and swept right over my feet and touched my feet with the broom. What's worse, is when I looked at her in shock, she didn't even bother to acknowledge me or apologize. I was upset for Two reasons: it was 2 hours before closing, you don't need to be kicking up dirt and dust when clients are eating, and in my culture it is VERY disrespectful to sweep someone's feet; in fact we believe it to be bad luck. It ruined my meal and quite frankly, I'm feeling like I underreacted in the moment for how disrespected I felt. I hope the manager communicates to their staff about awareness and appropriate behaviors while clients are still dining.

It opened in 1958 by Al and Carmen Valenzuela, and might as well be a historical landmark! Lol. I'm in my mid-late 50's and my Grandmother would take me when I was just 5yrs old. Feeling a need for nostalgia, I took my sons to Val's Burgers today. The man who took my order is still working there after all these years so he must be in his 70's-ish. A lot has changed with Val's. They're only open now from 11am-5pm Fridays and Saturdays. It's to-go orders only (unless you want to sit outside but there are only 3 tables), no dining in the restaurant anymore. No milkshakes after 1pm and it's now cash only. So you call them, place your order, then they give you the total over the phone. When you arrive, you call them back and they bring out your food to you and you pay them the cash. I ordered 2 Mama burgers (the Papa burgers are 1lb of meat, btw), 2 shakes and just 1 order of their thick cut steak french fries (the bag of French fries feeds approx 3 people). The total came out to $71ish. The food is STILL really good though (my sons would have definitely said something if it wasn't worth it - trust me), EXPENSIVE - but good! There's enough parking and because you can't go into the restaurant you don't have to worry about wheelchair accessibility. For me, the fact that Carmen has kept this place still open after all these years long after Al's passing (RIP) was worth the 45 minute drive for me. It shows me that the family chose to stick it out and make it work and they did it for the Hayward community! In 'n Out or The Habit, on the other hand, is not worth it for me - despite what other reviewers on here say.

You could really taste the char on the patty, and they even char the bun, which I loved.
