Best Wendy's location I've been to in a long while especially since they just added a brand new location right near me (go figure‍). This location provided not just exceptional service being just so dar-gone nice but our food the most important things was absolutely mouth watering thankfully the fries were the freshest I had at Wendy's in over 6 months especially without having to ask for new orders at some time more than three times. I love the manger here not because I know them cause I don't I live in town Phoenix that is for Christ sake it's just that they must treat their people nice and as they should for all of the customers to receive great food and above average service. They must be making sure their people are treated good because we all CAN taste and feel when someone loves their job and at a minimum are at least happy working there. Thank you Wendy's for upholding your mission at least in some of your locations, I tell you guys that's hope!! Hope for big box company's who don't have time to vent every single location and ensure the food and people are doing what they should, and that people still care. We don't have parties and invite people over to serve them crap food and lame entertainment so now how has the looked for all us out here spending our hard earned pennies with them to at least get decent food and it totally be ruined by mistreated employees and mangers who don't care. We have to start pointing it out so much that they notice what's happening. People don't need to be rich to be nice they just need to be treated well. Please teach your managers how to do proper orders. This store is always out of half the items that I order and they never have any baked potatoes. Why do you have baked potatoes on your menu if you're not ever going to have potatoes? It takes at least 20-30 minutes every single time we go there and they pull us forward so that way they don't get it counted against them on the timer. This is ridiculous. Seriously train your staff how to do their job and train your managers how to do orders. read more

I wait all year for Wendy's fish sandwich to come back on the menu for Lent. It used to be the best fish sandwich of all fast food, then they switched from cod to pollack. It was still really good, and worth a weekly trip. I had the first (and probably last) of 2026. It was awful. There was more coating than fish and it was over cooked. It wasn't just crispy, it was DRY and CRUNCHY. As I got it to go, I didn't know how bad it was till I got home, so returning it wouldn't have been worth it. So disappointing. read more

Definitely not the best Wendy's, but could've been way worse. Location was great for us and allowed of to get gas at the connected gas station and then pick up food before getting back on the highway. Service was very, very, very slow, but it was quite obvious how short handed they were. I'd rather have the patience for those who show up to work. This location also offers a drive thru. Awful customer service here! The person taking my order at the speaker was very impatient and rude, she was rushing me to order and getting mad when I had to ask my partner what they wanted to order. They later stated it was the store manager I had spoke with wow.. once I got to the window the man taking my payment told me it was the manager I spoke with and she was actually being "very patient with me" haha! This place is a joke! It is filled with unhappy negative people! It's not that hard to be kind! Don't bother stopping here unless you're looking for horrible service. Only one of the available self service kiosks was operational and no one behind the counter even bothered acknowledging the 5-6 customers who were waiting to order. When orders were ready they sat them on the counter without calling a name or a number as if they expected everyone to know who's was who's. I realize that good customer service is hard to find anywhere nowadays but this was a whole new level of bad service. Next time I drive through here I'll stop at Mac Donald's or Burger King and hope the service is better there. read more

when i went to go pick up my order from the counter i had asked a male employee if the drink that was given was mine and he said yes it's your whole order, shortly after while my family and i were eating the manger if that's who she was came up and passive aggressively told me my child would get sick from the drink they had given to me by accident and snatched the drink off of my table and threw it away, she then told me as she was yelling across the store that my child could get sick and that they sell them but it was for a different order, i feel as if this could've been handled completely different i felt like the tone wasn't needed seeing as it wasn't my mistake but i guess that's why this place has 1.9 stars lolll anywho i don't recommend dining in here even if it's for a quick lunch stop, service is very rude and passive aggressive and not needed, never take food or beverages away from a customer have some decorum!!! read more

Literally the worst service I have ever had at a Wendy's. The food was bad as well, lukewarm and soggy. When I entered the restaurant Cohen was at the register. He looked at me, silently, and then turned and walked away. He was wearing his Wendy's hat sideways, as he apparently is quite a gangstah here in Camp Verde. I was subsequently ignored by three more employees. Eventually Shawnee, a 'manager', walked up and told me that Cohen would help me after he came back in from outside where he was delivering food to a car. I can't believe how uninspired and apathetic this entire crew was. After they finally took my order I discovered another employee was being investigated for stealing money from his register. Wow. Another terrible visit to Wendy's. Thought I'd give them another chance, but it was worse. I only saw 3 employees, and they were doing their very best. But the guy taking orders at the front counter was also filling most of the orders, including the drive thru! We tried to use the kiosk to order but it didn't work correctly. We were second in line and it took almost 15 minutes to give our order. Another 15 to get it. Tasteless, and the chili had almost no meat or beans. Just soup. I wish there was a way to give this place negative stars. After leaving months near this Wendy's location I decided to stop by after work. A very simple order. #6 (spicy chicken sandwich meal) with plain, please add cheese and ketchup. Medium size with a Diet Coke. Get home and it's a regular hamburger with everything on it. The following day, okay I know they can't mess this up two days in a row. Order the same exact thing. Even confirm you have the spicy chicken sandwich with only cheese and ketchup. "Yes we do". Get home open the bag, this time a grilled chicken sandwich with everything on it. I was wrong, guess you can mess it up twice back to back days. So a 3rd time within 6 days. Stop by order the same thing confirm while ordering and while the lady handed me the bag. Get home they got the chicken sandwich plain correct. However was suppose to be a spicy chicken sandwich with only cheese and ketchup. I know everyone will say well you should check your food before you leave. In a way your correct. However the people waiting behind you don't take to lightly when you do it. Plus it's such a simple order. Should not be that hard to mess it up 3 times within 6 days. I will not ever order from this place again. Even if I won some type of eat there free for a year, I would turn it down. read more

A disappointing visit....the staff was not well versed in how to make the coffee drink I ordered. They also did not know what cold brew coffee was. It wasn't a very good drink either. I asked for a large coffee and got a large cup half way full and chicken patties instead of beef on my burgers. Please don't shop here it is absolutely terrible. We stop by here on our way to Camp Verde often. Today was a unique experience. They have updated to kiosk only apparently. I ordered my food. The rest of my group was ordering and some had cash. The kiosk said card only. The manager Marissa said cash only would have to go through the drive thru and then kept saying they would help us in a few minutes since people were waiting in the drive thru for too many minutes. Eventually a worker came over to take the order of my friend. She started her order and the manger immediately came over and said "She can't help you right now, she's on drive thru." My order came up without a receipt and when I requested one the manager tried but could not figure out how to print out the receipt. When she asked why I needed it, I let her know it was to request a refund from my bank. She told me to bring my food up and she returned my money. During this she explained very passionately that all she asked us to do was wait a few minutes and no one else could help us because they were getting yelled at in their ear by drive thru customers. I told her that it would have been nice to say it politely like that instead of so rudely talking to us earlier. I started to leave to go get food from the adjacent gas station. As I went out the door, the manager yelled that everyone needs to leave and kicked the entire group out. When I returned to the car, there were two Camp Verde officers there speaking to my friends. A third officer arrived quickly. Apparently, the manager called them after we left. The Camp Verde police were amazing. They listened to our story went in and spoke to her. Then, they told us we were free to go. Moral of the story: if you eat here, pay with a card and speak to no one. read more

Customer service is lacking! The store is still closed for dine in. They say it is for social distancing but to order you use a kiosk that is two feet from the next kiosk. People wait for their food in the same 10x 10 area for your food. Again no social distancing. Some employees not wearing masks. Nothing here makes sense. I don't really care about masks and the social distance but why do some and not the other. read more

This was umm... an experience? We waited 20 minutes in the drive thru. And then when they were ready to take our order, the girl was getting out of her car after five minutes with her headset on and putting our order in her phone. It was awesome! Then homeboy comes out and is just smoking away and walks back in still doing the same. We love it here! Oh and we got five spoons. We needed 7:) adding on to this, they got our order wrong and just told us that's too bad we can't take it back. From there, we were missing half our food and i had to go back through the drive thru on foot. It was so fun! So thank you wendys for this amazing experience. Update: just found a hair in my food! Have been using Wendy's for decades since they opened the franchise. This is the worst location I have ever dealt with. And when you complain they talk over you, argue about the problems and if you call they will hang up on you. i would not recommend this location to anyone. And if you stop and expect to carry out, check the entire order before leaving or better yet look it over before you pay! We live an hour up the hill from the Camp Verde location. I don't find out what is missing until I open the order when my husband hands it to me. I finally got my fill and the manager argued with me and then hung up when I called to tell her what happened for the FINAL TIME. Don't know what the problem is? Poor service, bad service, deliberately shorting takeout orders or what but I am done with this location. I have never ever had a problem with a Wendy location ever that I remember but for four years I have kept trying with this one location about once every few months when my husband stops to get our dinner order to go and I am not with him and just hanging out in Northern AZ waiting for one of my favorite salads Wendy's makes. Today I did complain and the manager whose name is Ena or Ina argued with me, talked over me, then hung up on me. Her floor supervisor, Kerry, passed me along to her loudly as an angry customer and I heard her comment about me exactly that way before she told her why I was calling. How dare I call to complain about anything! And I just made sure I posted the problem on Yelp and contacted Wendy's Corporate complaint line since I knew the "Girls" weren't going to do a thing about the issues I noted. This is my warning about this location. Don't bother. There are other better restaurants in the area. Stop at one of them. And don't waste time complaining to the manager. She is either skimming or incompetent and guaranteeing this will be the treatment to anyone who bothers complaining to her especially if they are angry and tired of being ripped off by this location! And I did contact Corp Wendy's too! I talked to another K with their corporate customer service. Poor service when all the other locations deliver excellent and consistent service and products means this lousy location deserves it's own special moment in the spotlight highlighting it's not so great service and that it has consistently demonstrated BAD SERVICE based on my own personal knowledge month after month of my experience with their carry out orders. read more

She chastised her employee in gront of us, for using a new cup and not charging us when THEIR soda machine broke down and we asked them to finish filling our drink. Then she continued to argue with her employee (who by the way was mortified and apologetic and a wonderful server) rudely in front of us. My husband swung in after work and only one car in front of him and the girl working the drive thru was extremely rude. She shoved his drink at him and snatched the credit card out of his hand slamming the window shut each time and never even gave him the chance to ask for a straw or said thank you to him. I travel a fair bit from Flagstaff to PHX. A few weeks ago I stopped at Wendys heading South. Drive through wait time was poor, food par. Was not in a hurry and every drive through has bad days. Stopped in at 9:12 pm on 2/7/2020 a second time. Was third car from speaker to order. At 9:37 I received my order. Two cheese burgers and a drink. Unable to eat second burger, first was bad. Drink not mixed correct so Dr. Pepper was more carbonated water than anything. No napkins or receipt in bag to complain to manager. Save your time and resources and patron a different eatery. read more
