loved Wendys where i used to live but since moving here is like they dont want your business the one in sanford overcooks the burgers they like a hockey puck the one in Cameron just doesnt want to sale you any food last time i went there stood at the front counter for 10 minutes and nobody acknowledged me so finally left today was there at 1PM and doors were locked so came home for lunch no idea how they stay open read more

Store hours posted at business and online is incorrect. Opening was posted at 9 a.m. I was there at approximately 10:45 a.m. Doors were locked and no one at drive through. Same thing at ALL Wendy's. I went next door to Bojangles and had the very best service ever! STAY AWAY FROM WENDY'S! read more

Just went for breakfast at 9:53am and the entire restaurant is closed (drive thru and lobby). I tried to go in the lobby and all the doors are locks. The drive thru still had the lunch/dinner menu up from the night before. This Wendy's is terrible. If it's not an incredibly long delay after ordering they just failed to open the store read more

I ordered some food from the drive through window today, while I was waiting for my food to be ready, I saw the employees talking all over my food without face mask. And the girl who put my food in the bag had no gloves on, and wipe her face without washing her hand then touch my food again. I felt very uncomfortable to eat the food no more, the manager came over and argued with me the entire time, and stating that the girl wiped her face with napkin, so she's okay to touch my food again. And they don't require to wear face masks no more, so it was okay to talk over the food sit on the table. So the manager refused to do refund or nothing. Worst experience ever. read more

it was so sticky and gross. i only go here because i'm a dancer and it is like one of the few places next to studio and is just convenient when i am dancing for hours at a time. It was so nasty and my feet were sticking to the floor. they messed up my order and when i asked for napkins they snapped at me and told me there were some at the drink station when i had told them multiple times that there was none left. read more

The woman working the drive thru today, phew. Her attitude reeked. We ended up pulling off and not even ordering. The man that was taking the trash was smiling and waved bye to us because he knew. I can't make this up. The woman sounded disgruntled when she asked us what she could get for us. Then she wasn't sure what we were asking so she just completely ignored us after we repeated our question the third time. I was like "she is sick of our shit." And my husband made a fart noise into the speaker before we left. We took it lightly but honestly nothing makes my ass itch more than people that act like assholes or act like they are unhappy to be in a position that they put themselves in. I'm sorry if she doesn't like her job, she doesn't feel good, or she's having a bad day. We're the type of people that tip drive thru employees, leave notes on receipts and pay it forward. We were asking a question about their frosties. I hope her day gets better. Every time we go to Wendy's some one is having a bad day. Raise their wages or something. Fresh food so far . The times I've went . But I've worked fast food customer service for over 10 years . I understand when there is frustration or when a certain customer be so rude that it upsets you. But put someone in the window that has manners & customer service . I've paid with a smile & hello/thank you & have gotten my money taken & received my food without a "Hello" & without a "would you like any sauce " nor a "have a good day". That is very unexceptional. We all need a job & money but if you hate your job , QUIT ! The other employees in the window like over a month ago was very nice & a manager went above & beyond . This Wendy's is awful. I don't normally write reviews, but I hope someone in management sees this and makes positive change. My husband and I have been to this location several times and every single time they are out of something crucial...such as cups, French fries, buns, soda, etc...literally every time. Slow service in drive-thru. Was told "the system is down", whatever that means. I'm pretty sure it was BS to cover up the fact there was only 3 people working inside. While we sat in the drive-thru we saw at least half a dozen customers leave the line and go somewhere else. We would've left too but we placed our order on the app and had already been charged. When we got home we realized the kids meal was missing nuggets, the fries weren't even full, and they didn't give us any straws. I went by Wendy's yesterday evening July 5 2020, the food was terrible. The food was cold, and the fries old. Someone was singing when I was ordering my food. I don't understand why someone would do something like that? Maybe it is a new process to get song to when you are ordering something now??! Spent $31 and a salad was left out of the bag, there was no sauce for the nuggets, there was no sour cream for the sour cream and chives baked potato. Went back for the salad and they said there was no chili. When we got home and I called the restaurant to let them know I was hung up on by the manager. Worst Wendy's I have ever been to. Let me state that I sat in the drive through line for at least 30 minutes. They have never gotten my order right at this location. This last time they gave me the cheaper chicken sandwich in place of the one I ordered which was the Homestyle chicken sandwich. Then when I got home and they had given me yet another wrong sandwich, it was not the homestyle but the spicy one. Came here a week ago at 7:55 am and they said they wouldn't take my order until 8:00am. Today I went and no one even answered the drive thru window. Apparently they stopped doing breakfast or just do it whenever they please. Not sure how upper management hasn't had any issues with this location. I wouldn't recommend ever coming here. Waited FOREVER FOR FOOD! Food was wrong and they scraped the toppings off to give me the burger I ordered. Was not my first bad experience here. Called spoke to manager and she said come back in and they would replace the burger I had ordered. It was about a month, reluctant because of bad service in the past, but finally went back in. I asked the cashier if I could get a salad instead of the burger. He asked the manager and she said "Well I guess", if it has been a month we usually just throw the name away. Good to know that your customer service has a time limit. I will never go back. The manager had a attitude!!! We will leave at that and say you don't need my business because I sure as hell do not go to any restaurant to be treated that way. The Wendy's in Sanford, I would give it a 2.
