Yes I'm actually reviewing a Wendys. Work with me on this one and you'll understand why. So I was taking a 10 hour a day training course around the corner from here and totally forgot my wallet one day. This totally sucked and I thought I wasn't going to be having a lunch that day until I remembered the 99 cent menu at Wendys! So I scrounged all the spare change I could find in my car and drove over to the Wendys. I actually had a decent meal with nothing more than spare change. Needless to say this kicked ass! I had an order of fries and the spicy chicken nuggets. I didn't have to buy a drink as took one of the free ones from the training center with me. They were both pretty good for fast food and best of all fit in my extremely limited lunch budget. So when you forget your wallet and are hungry Wendys is the place to go! read more

VERY poor service and VERY unsanitary! I am not one to complain about small little mistakes, those are understandable, but yesterday, I went to this Wendy's. Most restaurants in this quarantine time are being super super super careful about handling food and coming in contact with customers. I usually like Wendy's, but I went to the drive-through, The cashier was pretty passive aggressive. Then after I ordered my meal, I noticed that none of the staff were wearing gloves or masks. He gave me my food, and he forgot to give me my credit card back. Before I could say anything, he shut the window, and I stood there waving to him for a very long time. He kept glancing at me, but he was just ignoring me. I then told him that he forgot to give me back my credit card. When I was rolling away, I then realized he forgot my sprite as well. The line was too long, and I didn't have time to go around again. The food was cold and not up to par. This Wendy's was a rude, unsanitary, and forget full of simple orders. Please don't waste your time at this Wendy's. Restaurants should be taking this virus more seriously! read more

I never feel compelled to review places... until now. Generally, this is a run-of-the-mill Wendy's, but usually very clean and not crowded (during late lunch times when I typically go). HOWEVER, there is one aspect of this particular Wendy's that sets it apart from the rest. Lisa. (Manager?) She is amazing. She is possibly the sweetest person I've ever encountered working at a restaurant, or just in general for that matter. She is always extremely upbeat and friendly, and super helpful and welcoming. It seems that she goes WAY above and beyond what you would think her duties are, and that she truly cares about the customers and their experience during their visit. She will talk to people, asking them about their days, and will be genuinely interested and conversational. I try not to go here very often, simply due to trying not to eat fast food, but whenever I go here, I never regret it and always leave in a better mood because of Lisa. Whatever promotion, raise, recognition, etc. that may be available to her, she deserves it. Oh, and the fries are almost always fresh and delicious, so that's a plus. haha read more

Everyone who works here has the iq of a paper clip. Explicitly asked for no cheese or mayo on my burger and they still put it on regardless. This has happened twice in a row. They also didn't give me a receipt. absolute clown house, waste of time and money. read more

Wendy's is the only fast food chain with a gluten-free menu. It's an impressive one -- all of their burgers (sans bun obviously), baked potatoes, chili, southwestern taco salad (even with tortilla pieces), all of their salad dressings, chocolate shakes, etc. The particular good thing about fast food is one can see into the kitchen, so I can say for sure that the gluten-free protocol at the Burlington location is correct. Whilst most of the employees are helpful, efficient and perhaps seem almost suspiciously calm and happy, there is one who isn't -- when she's not bossing around everyone else, she just likes to try to be as quick as possible. For the gluten-free, that has meant things on trays which don't go together; she'll fix it, but it'll need to be pointed out. Otherwise, it's a clean and cheap fast food restaurant (where it's possible to eat healthily beyond any dietary issues, which they can totally handle), and the only food establishment within many miles to be open til 1am on Sundays - Thursdays and 2am on Fridays & Saturdays. What more do you want from a place with a drive-thru? read more

I will never forget this place. In fact, I specifically went through my GPS history to track this Wendy's down, which I visited over a year ago, just so that I could review it. We were tourists staying in Burlington, MA for the night, and I needed a quick bite to eat. I drove from my hotel to this Wendy's, a couple of kilometers away, at like 9 or 10 at night. The cashier made me repeat multiple parts of my order; no big deal really, not compared to the rest of it. When my order was finally ready after 20 minutes of waiting, it was all wrong. One of the baked potatoes was missing, They gave me some beef sandwiches instead of the chicken ones I had ordered. Among a list of other issues, because this was a year ago and I don't remember all of them. Before leaving, I specifically asked if they had included the sour cream for our potatoes, and they said that they had. I drove back to my hotel room, only to find that they had NOT included my sour cream. So I had to drive all the way back and have them give it to me. Overall, disgraceful service. read more

This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had. They closed an hour early and closed there dining 15 minutes before that. They blamed it on an emergency but the delinquent kids working must have just wanted to go smoke weed. They were rude at the drive thru and kept pointing at me so i respecfully gave them the bird to which they gave it back to me. I do not recommend this restaurant. Doesn't deserve even 1 star.... on the TV screen at the drive through there was a advertisement for a new spicy Buffalo salad. I order it... some guy yells out on the intercom that they don't have it... when it is clearly on the menu screen... the people there doesn't even know what they have on their menu.... the cashier seemed new and confused. read more

Visited here today. I was going to get the 4 for 4 but you can't have 2 jr. Bacon cheeseburgers in 1 meal. You have to have two meals. But as far as the location, this was a pretty good location. And they customer service was great. read more

I've eaten there before, and its standard Wendy's food. Last week I stopped by for a quick bite around 2:00. Stood in a long line for 10 minutes, and they managed to serve 1 customer in that time. So I left. Unacceptable pace for a fastfood joint. read more

This Wendy's has changed for the worst. Twice I have been through the drive through (at 6:00pm and 11:15pm). and I have received cold, precooked burgers. The drive through is disorganized and inefficient. Waited 45 minutes for another cold pre-cooked burger at the 11:15 visit. If you really want fast food, go down the Middlesex turnpike, just past the 95 overpass, you will find a McDonald's, Burger King and Five Guys five minutes away from this dreadful place. read more

I second the review below me. This Wendy's absolutely takes pride in their location. The manager was taking orders inside today and was pleasant, friendly and professional. Great experience even for a simple order of nuggets and fries. It's clean and well kept in the seating areas, busy with the usual Burlington lunch crowd and called each order by first name. Not a number. Perfect customer service. I'll recommend this Wendy's to anyone anytime. read more

There's not much to say about this Wendy's. The wait time is little to none. Most of the workers here are younger and just project a sense of profound sadness in their voice when they talk to you. It's all very depressing. All except for one. I didn't get her name but she's always so amped and ready to party. One night it was pretty slow, so she went and started cleaning up the joint. We started chit chatting and the topic of being energetic all the time came up. She mentioned she used to be an instructor at a gym, and she's always full of energy. I guess she has enough energy for everyone there! There's nothing to say about the food as it's a Wendy's chain. No complaints here, but nothing to rave about either. read more

Ok, so this is Wendy's. A fast food joint. What's there to review about it ? Well for starters, the employees. Or at least 2 employees that I often encounter. 1) Lisa (a medium height very energetic person) This employee is ridiculously good. I hope she's happy there because for sure, she would be/should be snapped up by a corporate office in search of an efficient, courteous, pleasant employee capable of juggling orders and interacting with customers at the same time. 2) Shaun (a tall guy mostly in drive-through) He remembers my order's details and is super quick and great to deal with. A customer feels good after interacting with him. My standard order when taken by these employees is *never* messed up and Shaun always remembers to pile on packets of pepper without my asking (yeah, I'm a pepper fanatic) After employees, the food's actually good too. I once found a very long hair on a burger I got from this Wendy's in Burlington. It was longer (and a different color) than any hair on my head. Grossed out, I approached the manager and the following exchange took place: ****refer to my footnotes throughout for analysis/expansion**** Me: Hi. I found my sandwich to be.. pretty undesirable, I was hoping to talk to you about it. Manager: Show it to me. [1] Me: All right. (unwraps burger) Here. (points) You can see a long hair on my tomato... Manager: What do you want me to do about it? [2] Me: Well I wanted to let you know because... [3] clearly it's unappetizing. Manager: See, it's a hair. It could come from anywhere (points at my head, his head, the heads of customers behind me and employees behind him). It's not a health violation because... it could come from anywhere. [4] Me: I thought it was pretty -- Manager: Well what do you want? A refund? Me: Well yes, at least. I -- (Manager opens the register, calculates the cost of my burger plus the tax.) Manager: Here you go. Me: Thank you. I just thought it was unappetizing. Manager: All right. Some would say I then walked away like a coward, but what am I going to do? Fucking argue with this dude? It was a lost cause. I got in the car, placed a call to the Wendy's hotline (which is great if you're up for scripted apologies read without emotion) and was told I'd hear back from someone. The good news: I did hear back. I heard back from someone who oversaw all of Wendy's operations for a wide region in Massachusetts. She sounded genuinely disturbed by every piece of my story. She promised to send me a gift card (or coupons or something) in the mail, though she noted that she wouldn't blame me if I was hesitant to reconsider their chain. Super sweet. Nothing ever came in the mail. I've never been really sure what to make of that. I would be cool without getting any free stuff if I had a way of knowing she contacted the Burlington location and spoke to the manager about his customer service/health standards. [5] I called the hotline back (because I was stupid and didn't get the woman's direct number) and they were unable able to figure out who I had spoken to or how to direct me. I eventually gave up. I've been back to this location since "the incident" and it seems to remain dirty, poorly managed and staffed by plenty of people who couldn't care less. (I'll probably elaborate on that in another review.) Just don't go here. There are so many fast food spots within 1 mile of this Wendy's. ***FOOTNOTES**** [1] Hey weirdo, just say you're fucking sorry. Just say you're sorry and I'll move on. You don't have to feel actual guilt or sympathy, just pretend. Also, I addressed you at a hushed volume so as to not alarm the other customers and you came back at me at full volume. We're at the register. We could step aside if you want. You want to do this in front of everyone? Are you fucking stupid? [2] You are fucking stupid. [3] Have you ever stopped to think why something bad is bad? Like... WHY it would ruin your day if someone took a dump in your soup. Parents must have to figure out ways to articulate this stuff to their toddlers. I don't have kids though so I wasn't prepared for this. "It could activate a gag relax"? "It wasn't what I wanted"? "It's not in the picture"? Someone wasn't going off script in hopes of making my burger BETTER, dude. We're not having a convo re: the merits of someone's creative risk. It sucks because it fucking sucks. [4] I'm realistic about what kind of burger I can get for 99 cents. You can't do a lot to change the innate quality of the product you're getting shipped to you, but you can try not to fuck it up. I'm not going to knowingly swallow someone's hair. But you know what? Even then, I'm ABSOLUTELY reasonable. This guy works a modest paying job and he probably gets shit all the time. Plus, this dude didn't make my burger. I don't even know if the person who prepared my burger is still in the kitchen. Maybe this guy actually hates the person who made the burger but can't fire them because it's not his call. So no, I'm not going to lay into him. Mistakes happen. He's right to an extent -- even pulled back, with a hat on, strands of hair can escape... But are you fucking insane?? Don't talk to me like I'm a germophobe. (By the way, this was an exact quote from him.) [5] If anyone from Wendy's reads this -- give the woman overseeing Burlington/Greater Boston a raise. She was great. I'm serious. I sincerely do not blame her for any of this, nor do I blame her for my not receiving the coupons. I didn't really care about those aside from that they signified a resolution. She totally understood the very obvious problem. For all I know, she did follow up and talk to someone in Burlington. But I have no way of knowing, and the place still seems to be run by some thoughtless people. read more

I hate to admit it, but I love Wendy's. And, I love the Drive Thru. I don't Drive Thru anywhere else but Wendy's. I won't tell you how often I have been here, but let's just say, well, more than once. There can be a million people inside this burgerific place, but they rapid fire you through the Drive Thru without fail. It's like we don't want to get caught eating fast food that we know we shouldn't eat.... so we Drive Thru. I know they offer healthy-ish food here, but I never get that. Just visited this newly refreshed Wendy's adjacent to the Burlington Mall. It is clean, modern, beautifully redone! Having mostly visited the DTX Wendy's I didn't expect this! I'm pretty much a vegetarian and this chain is the only fast food place I ever go to. The menu is very nicely designed and offers some healthy choices. The staff was quick and friendly. I wouldn't usually post for a Wendy's on Yelp, but this really stands out. Great prices and nicely updated. read more

Went in line to order for Wife and self, wife got my attention and said lets leave. all tables were dirty and sticky, the entrance door was filthy. The drive thru staff from last night was really rude yelling and not fully understanding me. This was a black woman with and attitude. I did not engage her in a shouting / yelling match the whole time making comments to her manager. Arguing with ignorant folks just make matters worse, so I just let it be. My wife and son were in the car with me and they could not believe here attitude. I payed for my stuff and did not say a word, but I can tell you she will say the wrong thing to someone at the wrong time and she will have problems that she wish she had been nicer to the customer she was serving. She needs a new line of work. I wish her the best, but I will not be going back to that location. read more
