The food itself is good, but there were a bunch of mistakes on our order. Me and a friend went by and I ordered a crispy chicken with mayo and bacon only. When I got home I was welcomed with lettuce and tomatoes on my chicken. While ordering I asked for a hamburger, but the lady at the window told me "What kind, there's a bunch of different ones on the menu" in a slightly rude tone, which I didn't appreciate. Besides that, I got cheese on my HAMburger, which makes no sense because I didn't ask for a CHEESEburger. They did get my food out fast, which was appreciated. read more

The drive thru here is set up horribly. Do you go from the street and block the outgoing traffic or go from the parking lot and block the parked cars? No clear answer. And the wait is horrible. Very very long wait. Could have probably grown the food we ate faster. No idea why the drive thru is so slow. It took about 20 mins or more for 5 cars to get through. Gave it 3 stars because our food was correct. I wonder if it is faster here to go inside instead. read more

The manager at this location! Not sure if his name but he had Tattoos on his arms and I believe was bald. I am a Regional manager in charge of 273 employees across the eastern half of American so I have experience. This manager was dealing with being short staffed, assisting the window and assisting a disgruntled patron that couldn't figure out the Kiosk. I had the worst customer service I had ever had just now at the Wendys, Biddeford drive through. Pulled up, brightly said hello and how are you. Nothing, just a glare. Got my drink...crickets. Got the bag and said thank you so much, aren't you allowed to say anything, in a kidding manner. "Bad day" waa all I got. So, I wasn't trained this way in customer service. I was trained to be polite and respond and respond when someone spoke to me. So I called and got the manager on the phone. She said he wasn't rude, he just didn't say anything. Pardon me, but ignoring someone whonis speaking to you IS rude. So I said, " so you are excusing bad customer service?" She continued to defend his bad behavior. I again asked why she would defend bad customer service and told her they had lost us as customers and hung up. I am so sick of people being allowed to behave badly toward customers. Let me just start by saying I don't go to fast-food joints often, but I'm a sucker for Wendy's when I do want something quick. I have gone to this Wendy's on other occasions, and while I wouldn't refer to their service as stellar, I certainly wouldn't go with a one star rating. That being said, yesterday, 02/22/20 I went through the drive thru between 430 and 5 pm. My order was small and simple. The girl working the window got Midway through my order and told me to "hold on" so I did...I waited so long there were about 5 cars behind me and the driver in the truck behind me who had his window down said "what happened? They go on break?" I just shrugged and decided to pull forward. Now my order was not entirely complete as my daughter HATES mayo and I was going to order a 6 piece nugget also. However when I reached the window a girl with short light brown hair and a angry frown met me. I asked her to please read back my order as I didn't know if she had gotten it all. She was clearly not happy, she told me my order and hurriedly gave me my total. She then snatched my card out of my hand, rang it up, and with more than an obvious bad attitude practically shoved my card out to me, slammed the window shut without saying another word. Now I'm not one to make a fuss because I know folks have bad days. But this employee clearly had an attitude problem from the minute I pulled up to the window. Call me sensitive, but instead of getting treated poorly by an establishment that I am paying to do a small insignificant service for me, I will gladly drive an extra mile or two to not be treated so badly next time. read more

Decided to check out Wendy's restaurant in Biddeford as my wife took on the shoppers at the near by Wallmart. Upon entering I clearly was struck by the updated and modern decore as it had a very family friendly feei. There were quite a few custermers enjoying there burgers, fries and of course the famous Wendy's frosty. As I moved my way to the order line, I found myself behind several customers. I had a feeling it was going to be a short time before I ordered, however I was pleasantly surprised to find the line rapidly moved along. One of the things I found a little annoying was the fact that the on the wall menu wasn't completely visible as I moved through the line. I couldn't see the burger choices until I was next in line. I ended up getting a double stack burger, small fry and a small soft drink, so the lack of viewing the menu board didn't play a factor in my menu choices, however given the opportunity to see it longer, I may have changed my mind and ordered a larger burger. The sales person at the register taking my order was very friendly, however, the other irritation that sent chills up my spine was the young lady calling out the names of the people waiting for their orders. I am thinking she has missed her calling and should work as a barker selling popcorn or peanuts at a professional baseball game. Luckily my order was quickly made which afforded me the "no call" and was delicious. The burgers were sandwiched between two pieces of perfectly melted cheese. The fries were a bit to crusty for my taste, buy I ate them just the same. Despite the very few negatives I still found this Wendy's comforting, affordable and a friendly staff. I ordered online with a pickup at the counter. When I got there at 6:30 pm the doors were locked. I checked my email which had me click a link to alert them that I was there and further stated that it would be brought out to me before I finished reading. At least 15 minutes went by and still no food. I drove around to the drive thru window on the other side of another vehicle to find out what was going on and got told that they weren't bringing out food and that I had to get in the drive thru line to get it or to to get my money back. A half hour went by before I got to the front of the drive thru line. The girl at the window thought it was funny that I had to go through such a hassle. I ask for my money back and left. I have never been so annoyed with a restaurant or its employees. Nothing was as it said it was going to be. I would have just got in the drive thru line from the beginning had the web site or email alerted me to the fact that they weren't doing online pickup orders. Went in to Wendy's today to get a shake stood at the counter for five minutes while they all saw me standing there doing nothing. The second coworkers walk in after standing the they all greet her and talk to her about how she dye her hair. Awesome customer service skills shown by the management there at say not. This Wendy's is no different from any other. I went here for breakfast on the way to work last year for like a month straight 'cuz they handed out these coupons when they started serving breakfast. It ended up being a dollar for a sandwich and coffee, or something like that. Oddly the coffee was always really good. I kinda got addicted to that morning ritual, so when the coupon ran out and I stopped going I had a bit of a withdrawal going on. As regards to lunch, they're always packed but serve you pretty quickly. I've never really had an order screwed up and I've gone a number of times. I have been eating at Wendy's since they opened in Maine. I look forward to the FRESH made burgers and make it a point to go to Wendy's. Today I stopped at the one on Alfred St. Biddeford, Me. and was totally disappointed. I ordered a Baconator combo meal and a Banconator Jr combo meal. It came with 2 pieces of bacon cut in half and the burger was all dried out. The Jr cam the same way. Ask the girl if it was right and she said this is right 2 pcs on each burger (1/2) Sorry to Wendy's as I will no longer eat at your establishments, Burger Kings Bacon King from now on.
