DQ in Biddeford has been slipping in good customer service. Visited the location around 5pm today with my wife. We walked up to the register and was ignored. There was a manager right at the register with other employees around and we stood there for what seemed to be 10 minutes with no acknowledgement we were waiting. We had gone there for the 250th stars and stripes misty float. They had it up on their overhead board on a big display with all the treats and prices. It was plain as day they were offering it and the reason we went in was on the DQ app it said the stars and stripes misty float was available through July 5, 2026. And here I am on July 5th in the store placing an order for two. Well the manager continued to avoid acknowledging us customers as a good manager "shouldn't do". In his place, a staff member asked us what we wanted and then responded badly to our order " we are NOT honoring the 250th star and stripes misty float despite corporates advertisement in the DQ app that this item was being honored through July 5th. No apology for the inconvenience and was said in a "harsh not a friendly manner". No other offer for us to order something else was said. Both the manager and this staff member exhibited poor Customer service. My wife and I were offended with the poor treatment and was highly disappointed in ths DQ location. We will think twice in ordering there in the future. read more

The folks who work here are absolutely amazing. They always get the order correct, right down to the metaphorical cherry on top. They are quite fast with their service most of the time, but during the weekend, they are so short on employees that it's usually only one person running the whole restaurant. I respect that commitment to the workplace, but sooner or later, they'll wear themselves out. Hopefully, the summer months will bring reprieve for them. read more

I find it to be dirty and very expensive. A large cone is $1.50 more than in Kennebunk. The staff here is not as polished as Saco or Kennebunk.! Stay away! Will not go here. read more

Folks, this is an ice cream place with young staff probably on their first job. Think about it - you're only paying a few bucks for an ice cream. This isn't the Plaza Suite!! I love Dairy Queen. From their dipped cones, to their ice cream cakes, to their blizzards...what is there not to love? Although there is a lot to love about Dairy Queen, this one is seriously lacking in it's service. I went here on a Thursday evening wanting a blizzard, particularly because I had a buy one, get one coupon. When ordering, the cashier really didn't seem like she knew what she was doing, however, thinking she might be new, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. When I presented her my coupon, she had to seek out someone to help her input the coupon into the system, which again was totally understandable. When the other worker approached, she seemed annoyed and rolled her eyes and stated, "You just do this and this. It's kind of simple..." and then walked away, which just felt uncomfortable. As I waited for my blizzard, the woman behind me ordered her order and the cashier continued to struggle. She apparently inputted her order wrong into the system, which then caused the price to be wrong. So the cashier tried to figure it out on her own, which then just ended up being a huge mess. Again, she needed help from another worker to adjust this issue. When I got my blizzard, the workers making the ice cream seemed just as disorganized as the cashier. They were making duplicate orders and getting frustrated with each other, which just seemed really unprofessional, as they could easily be seen by the public. My blizzard was decent, however, my counterpart's was lacking some serious ingredients. This definitely isn't the highest quality DQ I have been to, however, it is pretty inside. I definitely suggest that the higher ups at DQ do some training for it's employees at this location, as they need some serious work. read more

I may have met the least intelligent person in the world tonight and she works at Dairy Queen. The total came to $6, I gave her $21 and she asked me if the dollar was a tip. I would be embarrassed for her if I thought she had the capacity to understand how ridiculous that was. Skimpy ice cream ,go to Saco if you want a good ice cream cone ,super small portions I will drive the extra 10 minutes to Saco where they give super portions and don't skimp on the portions unbelievable,I've gone here 4 times because I'm local but after the last time never again ordered a banana split 1 tablespoon of ice cream in the whole thing,cones medium looked like a kiddie cone I'm so disgusted with this p,ace small skimpy portions read more

I've only had the opportunity to visit this fine establishment once. The problem is it recently burned down, oops! Have you ever noticed how the illuminated menu boards behind the counter are oddly tilted down? It occurred to me why they do that when I was there. If you bend your legs and lower your head you'll see why. It's designed to be easier to read if you're short, i.e. a kid. Isn't that a bit frightening? Those corporations know what they're up to, no coincidence. I had one of those major Sundae's, where the cashier asks you a litany of questions bordering on the absurd, I finally got what I wanted, which was, simply, ice cream and it was fine. Now, that it's burned down though my friend from work and his gf will have to go to the knock-off one by the Hannaford instead, hehe, they won't like that! I'm giving it 2 stars because of the creepy menu thing and 'cuz, well, they burned down! read more

Re: Ben E. I live right down the street from this place and it cannot catch a break. Before it burned down a car plowed right through the front of the building. Thery are now almost done rebuilding it and they have added and Orange Julius. read more

Really lousy service. They messed up my order, even though they wrote it correctly on the sandwich box. Mistakes happen--so no big deal. I drove back to the restaurant but the woman at the counter was SO RUDE--she immediately got defensive and pissy. She then threw her colleague under the bus and blamed on her and kept insisting she didn't do it. She made a mountain out of a molehill and lost a long-time customer. read more
