Service was slow. Employees were impatient & seemed unbothered. The drink options were limited to Hi-C Orange, Sweet Tea, Grape. I asked for no ice for all drinks. All of my drinks had ice. I asked for BBQ sauce and was told it would cost 55¢. I then asked what sauces were available for free and the employee replied, "Nan". The hairiest burger I've ever seen. Ordered a couple of burgers for my family around 6pm today. My husband offered me a bite of his burger, after taking a bite of the burger I noticed a brown hair follicle that appeared to be from a caucasian person. I thought it was just my husband's hair because there were only black people in the back. After my husband ate most of his burger we noticed another strand of hair coming from the same burger...this strand was brownish red. Disgusting. read more

Anyways, I came here at 7:52 pm about 2 weeks ago and order the Crispy Chicken Biggie bag. I always get my sandwich plain and I chose spicy nuggets. I was pulled down after receiving my drink and sat in my car patiently waiting for close to 30 minutes (I pulled off at 8:20pm). During the course of that time, I was brought the wrong order twice and once I finally received my order, it was inedible. My chicken patty was bending like rubber, nuggets and fries were cold. No this wasn't an expensive meal, but that doesn't mean I deserved such trash service. Was at this location on a Friday. One of the team members had to be tended to by the fire department but for some reason they thought that meant they had to stop taking drive thru orders and that all the employees somehow needed to be involved in helping the firemen load up the sick employee. Was met with rude behavior and wasnt aware of the situation until they told us to get out of the drive thru like idiots and go get food inside where we would then be in the way of the fire department a d they still had to take our order. I ordered a son of a baconator and a small drink. I was told it would cost $7.02. I get to the window and they tell me it is going to be $8.56. I complained and said that is not what I was just told. It turns out a MANAGER took it upon themselves to change my order to a medium drink. I told them I don't want the medium I want a small, like I ordered. They claimed to fix it and charged me card. I get back to work and realize my "son of a baconator" is really just one patty and some bacon. I reached out to corporate and confirmed this is not at all what a son of a baconator should be. I then check my card and I was charged $8.56. this place is stealing money. That is the only way to describe it. And the fact it was perpetrated by MANAGEMENT tells me everything I need to know about this location. I HIGHLY recommend driving even an extra hour to avoid this place. Dave Thomas, which I met one day while working at the Wendy's in Gardendale, would absolutely be appalled if he saw that his restaurants were serving chicken patties instead of chicken breasts in his chicken sandwiches. I always remember Wendy's being great on value and price... Not anymore! When we arrived I was in line and a drive thru customer came in to exchange her hamburgers that ended up being cold. Not a great first impression! My family ordered a wide variety of items; chicken nuggets (6 nuggets for the same price you can get 10 better tasting nuggets for at Burger King right next door.), double cheese burger (good), Caesar salads, bacon cheese baked potatoes (cold and half of the potato wasted from being over cooked, fries (best item we ordered)and sweet tea.
