I like Wendy's. Generally speaking, I find it to be tastier and fresher than the fast food competition. This trip was a letdown though. I placed my order and had to repeat and correct a couple of things; as the line grew behind me, I started feeling rushed and didn't review the whole order on the partially-obstructed screen. That part is on me and I'll own it. I waited for my food for about ten minutes before the gentleman who took my order gets a panicked look on his face. In a stage whisper, he tells the line cook that he accidentally put my spicy chicken sandwich in the wrong bag and already gave it to someone else, so can they please make another one? He says nothing to me, there isn't even eye contact. I wait another ten minutes for them to finish the new burger; at least it's fresh, right? You know what isn't fresh anymore though? The other three burgers and nuggets that have been sitting on the counter for the last ten minutes. I quickly confirm the bag contents and notice I'm missing my fries. Apparently they didn't make it onto my order - weird, but ok. Wish I'd gotten my receipt so I could see what I paid for. I buy (another?) large fry. When we got in the car, the kids asked why their Jr bacon cheeseburgers didn't have bacon. I guess we got Jr cheeseburgers instead. Not sure if he misheard my order or put the wrong items in the bag. My spicy chicken burger was the smallest I've ever seen - finished it in about five little bites, like I would a basic McD's cheeseburger. The sandwich labeled as the original chicken sandwich for my wife was also a spicy chicken, though hers was larger than what I got. It was a rough trip. For a fast food place to eat, Wendy's always has a decent meal that you can drive by and get that quick fix. I ordered the jalapeno burger at the drive up. I like how they have the monitor right there so you can see what you are asking for is the same as what they are preparing for you. Pulling up to the window, they took my card and handed me the card, drink, and then the food almost in a row. I was happily surprised they had it ready that fast. Of course, it was all precooked. It tasted decent for a burger not cooked as ordered but pre-done. They always have a smile on their face and have done special orders when I felt in the mood to go off-menu. I normally have a good experience at Wendy's, they're always fast and kind. But last night, was truly the worst food/service experience I have seen anywhere. I placed a mobile order at 5:30 pm and went to go pick it up and it wasn't ready. Totally get that it's super busy, I don't mind waiting for my food to be prepared. I came here to eat after work on New Years Day, 2018, since many other places were closed. As far as I can tell, this Wendy's taste the same as Wendy's everywhere else. The Dave's single burger costs around $5 (burger only) and is saturated with fat, to the point of dripping onto the plate. There is only one slice of cheese that was cold and a slice of lettuce and tomato. Since one burger of that size was not able to fill me up, I ordered a second crispy chicken sandwich for about $5 as well. The sandwich was far from crispy and the meat of the chicken patty tasted like processed meat, like those found in chicken nuggets. Considering the reviews and my personal experience of sitting in line, albeit during the late night rush. There have only been 4 cars that left the drive through after sitting here for 20 minutes with at least 7 cars in front of me and 4 behind me. It's 11:07pm on a Friday, 2022. It seams like they still have very slow service, could be a few different things that Cana use this, new hires or bad management but they haven't learned from there mistakes. This Wendys is a train wreck. Wait in line for the drive thru or go inside and witness the $h!t show first hand. Within a mile is a McDonals and a Burger King which seem to operate like they are supposed to. This place is a circus. Some employees seem to be staring into space while others just kind of run around with the manager being apologetic and unaware a fix is needed. Food is made in advance so there are no hot and crispy fries and Dave's burgers aren't worth the hassle you would go through visiting this place. One instance the employee even double checked during the order if I wanted sauce and I said yes. The most recent incompetence I even asked as they were handing me the bag of food if the sauce was inside. He looked me in the eyes and said yes. but it was a lie. I am fed up! Already have written a terrible review for this locations food quality but have to write another for the bitchiest attitudes I've ever seen. I pull up to pick up a doordash order, get to the speaker and say the name of the order as per usual, the employee talking confirms and says it's checked in and to pull forward, and I get to the window and the woman working says I apparently didn't stop at the speaker to tell them a name so I need to pull all the way around the drive through and wait again to tell them the name through the speaker. Is that a fucking joke? That can't be any kind of real procedure at ALL. I tell her I defintely said the name so she lets me pull to the end of the curb to wait instead. Finally a different woman brings the food out and says "next time you need to stop at the speaker to give us the name" in a prissy ass voice. MAYBE the employees should do their fucking job and listen to when people are ordering or communicate that my order was checked in. I came here mid day on a Saturday, it was super busy! The drive-thru line was busy, and shortly after I got my order a whole baseball team showed up. I ordered a Son of a Baconator with fries and a mango peach drink. My food came quickly and was all tasty, prepared well. As I checked in, I was surprised to see quite a number of negative reviews in the past, but it seems most of those are years ago now. I agree with more current ratings, this is a fast food place. The most important thing is that the staff are friendly and quick, and that they prepare the food items on their menu well. This is happening here, the restaurant is mostly clean and everyone seemed There are lots of fast food choices in this area, but Wendy's has the best menu, if you ask me. I enjoy this particular Wendy's location, and a good portion of that could be nostalgia. My husband and I have been coming here for over 5 years now. There is something comforting about always knowing what to expect. There was a time my husband would pull up, they would greet him by name, and without ordering they would have his meal ready at the window. It is a typical fast food joint, but the service is friendlier than most. Plus, Wendy's has the second best 4 for $4 deal IMO (second only to Carls Jr.). It's fast food, you can't expect much. But still, the food is solid for what it is, and fast. Their breakfast menu is the best in fast food but, but has weird hours: 7:30-10:30. I have been to several Wendy's restaurants around the country and something is so very wrong here on Samish Way. I don't think they can be allowed to call this "fast food". I have been here 3 times and each time am stunned at how slow things move. I would not recommend coming here if you are in a hurry. I went there tonight with my kids. We ordered for dine-in and waited for what felt like an eternity for our food. As we were eating, we watched how slowly the line moved and how slowly people were getting their food. The kids wanted frosties for dessert but there was no way I was going to go through the wait again. My daughter suggested we go to the drive-thru on our way out to get the frosties. She said "there is no way people in the drive-thru are waiting this long." Wrong. We actually timed the drive through. It was 14 minutes from the time we pulled up to place our order until the time we were handed the two frosties. Fourteen minutes! There was one car in front of us. One car! My how things have changed in a year. After reading the other reviewer's review from this time last year, I have to wonder if we went to the same place. I usually love Wendy's. I usually think they are of a higher quality and caliber than other fast food restaurants. But I went to this location today, and was miserably disappointed. I went through the drive-thru on my LIMITED lunch break, and ordered the single cheeseburger plus bacon/minus onion (which is what I'm forced to order now to get the semblance of the Big Bacon Classic I used to order often, and loved - though this burger, even with the same ingredients, is nothing like it.). I won't get it again... which I'm SUPER bummed about. Damn Wendy's for discontinuing the BBC!... but I digress. I ordered my meal with the Wild Berry Tea as my drink, after first verifying that I could get it for the same price as soda, since they are the same price on the menu if you're just ordering a drink. But then my total came to $1.41 more than it should have! And when I asked about it at the window, I was told it was because they charged me extra for the drink. I told them I didn't want the tea if they were going to charge me extra for it, that I had asked ahead of time for that very reason, but that even with the 30 cents extra they said they were charging me for the tea, it didn't balance out. I'm not sure what they did after that, but when they finally fixed the price of the tea, my total was as it should have been, $1.41 less than they'd tried to charge me. But then they came and told me my burger would be "about one minute" because they had to cook the bacon. I said that was fine, and I pulled off up ahead and left my car running. It was closer to TEN minutes before they brought my food out! For one thing, I would not have left my engine running had I known it would be so long. Secondly, I was unable to do ANY of the errands I needed to run during lunch, because I barely made it back to work in time as it was. And really? Ten minutes? UNACCEPTABLE. I opened my burger, and it had onions on it! I drove back around and pulled up to the window. I told her I'd ordered my burger without onion, and it had onion. I asked her to remake it, and she said she would, and took my faulty burger away. She came back a minute later with my new burger. I checked it, it was sans onion, so I left. As I drove away, I ate my lukewarm fries. I have to wonder if they packed up the fries before the 10 minute wait. There is no reason they should not have been hot. The burger was basically what you'd expect of any crappy fast food place. The bacon wasn't crispy at all, when crispy bacon was one of the best things about the Big Bacon Classic. The burger was just a greasy, warm blob that was not representative at all of the quality I've come to expect from Wendy's. At least there are 2 Wendy's here in town, though this is the location that would have been more convenient for me. I don't see myself giving this place another chance for a long, long time, if ever. This location is alright, but after going her numerous times it's been pretty average. There was a $1 deal going on for the double stack, so it was pretty busy when I went here. I ordered 2 double stacks and a spicy chicken burger. The chicken burger was cooked well and was moist, but the double stacks were fairly cold and didn't have enough sauce on it, so it was fairly dry. If they out more effort into thier double stacks this place will get a 4 star rating. The pop machine is awesome as always, but is in a very cramped location, and you're gonna need to squeeze by a lot. Other then that everything was good here including the fries, but the overall quality/effort was poor. read more

She literally seemed like every customer was bothering her by existing. I wanted to leave a bad review as the employee seemed just miserable but decided to try again another time. We went back and dealt with some younger friendlier employees with much better attitudes.
