This Wendy's has been around for over 10+ years, I never had any major issues with them. But they always seem to be understaffed, which leads to very long wait times. This Wendy's really deserves zero stars. The management is incapable of dealing with customers and understanding when it is important to open a second register. Instead he just walked around ranting and raving in front of many employees and customers claiming that an employee "just walked out" and he doesnt "know where he is" and he isnt sure what else he is supposed to do. Still not sure why he could not open a second register when both the drive thru and inside lines were quickly getting longer. Absolutely miserable woman attempted to take our drive-thru order. After misunderstanding us multiple times and rushing us to finish ordering, we decided to cancel our order and just go somewhere else. It is pretty tough to get to this Wendy's and the drive-thru is really tight, but the area sounding the restaurant is clean and well kept. The drive-thru menu is well lit and easy to see, and the voice box actual works and without any freaky voice changer effects. The wait time wasn't that long, and the line seemed to be running smoothly. The crew was very friendly and professional. They were helpful and patient while I haphazardly picked what I wanted to consume that evening. Asking questions to make sure they got my order correct. The food was passable. The burger was a little dry but can't really complain. The toppings helped with that. The nuggets were hot, fresh, moist, and crispy. My fries were probably reaching the end of their timer because they were soggy and oily. The Dr.Pepper was on point! But soda is always better out of the fountain. All in all. A convenient and well situated location which explains why it is always busy. Unlike many of the reviews, we have found the staff to be courteous. We have only gotten one wrong order and it was quickly remedied by the staff, without issue. My recommendations, send your managers to locales that run a tight ship. I got my food after waiting a bit of time. They are more focused on the online and drive through than the actual customers standing in front of them. This wasn't the first time I have been here and this has happened. Also the garbage was leaking fluid all over the floor. A few people including myself told the people that work here. They said thanks but I was there for 20 mins eating and nothing was done at all. One employee even came around to clean the tables saw the mess on the ground, walked around it and never came back to clean it up. Overall I wouldn't come back to this place. Yes, they have the fancy new soda machine, but the service and quality of food is never consistent. The food tends to be on the cold and bland side at this location. I've frequented this Wendy's since I was a kid. I'm not sure what happened the past couple of years, but something went awry (new management perhaps?), and the establishment went downhill. There are a lot of negative things about this particular Wendy's: - The drive thru staff messes up nearly every order. Only on super rare occasions do you get an order correctly. - About 90% of the time in the drive thru, you'll get someone who barely speaks English and has no proper sentence structure (this person speaks very choppy English and doesn't understand what you say, and you don't know what the person is saying to you). A person working the drive thru should be able to communicate with customers using a language that the majority of the customers speak (like English). Having someone bilingual working at the drive thru would be a great idea. - A lot of the time, the drive thru people don't put your order on the screen after you order. The only way you can find out how much you need to pay is by going up to the window.--which then makes the line longer because you have to figure out how much to give them. It's a little bit counter-productive for a fast food service place to thrive on being "fast," but slow up the drive thru queue. - They also don't give receipts. For whatever reason, the machine that prints receipts is always broken. The person working at the drive thru told my boyfriend and I it would take ten minutes for them to fix and print the receipt. Twenty minutes later, we received nothing. My boyfriend was brave enough to get out of the car and demand we get a receipt. We finally got it. - This has gotten a bit better over time, but sometimes a certain Frosty flavor is broken. Their machines seem to break down a lot. - They don't have or serve Ginger Ale (despite the fact it's listed in the drinks section online and on their cups). It's a huge bummer for me because if I could get it and add cherry flavor, I could make my own Shirley Temple. I have to settle with Sprite and cherry, but it's just not the same. Otherwise, no complaints on the food itself. It's not too shabby. A fun tip: You can save a ton of money if you order a Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe on the Value Menu. It comes out to $1.60 plus tax. This Wendy's in near my house, so I always end up here when I'm looking for a quick bite to eat. My issue is not with the food, but with the slow service. Doesn't seem to matter whether I use the drive thru or walk in, service is always S-L-O-W. What I can't seem to understand is that they have plenty of people behind the register, but the people who work here all seem to be running around aimlessly. Such a disappointment since this Wendy's is located on a busy street in Baldwin. My only recommendation for anyone thinking of going to this Wendy's is to be very patient. Then I pull up to the window, and there were approx five "working" teenagers arguing about the classes they are taking and using expletives and calling each other dumb! You think a taco salad is an easy order...after a long day at work and an hour at the gym I go to this location only to get home and see half the order is missing and no receipt was given. I called to let them know and they hung up on me twice. If I had a better option for a salad this late I would never have gone here. I have been going to this Wendy's since it opened. Weekday service is excellent because the crew is regular and have been working that shift for quite some time. Now the downside is that the weekend crew is absolutely terrible and they are different from the weekday crew. The weekend crew is also much younger and they appear more high school and young college aged. Weekend service (drive-in & walk-in) is slow and many times they give me the wrong order, so I always double check before I leave. The positive note is that the store management is very responsive and have addressed my complaints over the years. There is however still some work to be done. With that in mind it is fast food after all and these jobs are thankless and low paid, so I tend to cut them some slack. read more

The drive through is ridiculously tight. And kinda confusing. I thought i was going to a dead end i barely fit the work van through it. The food is typical Wendy's greasy slop. Now for the staff.
