I'm not one to leave reviews much, takes a lot for me to not like something. I also have never done a review based on something that the business has nothing to do with. But here it goes. I know a few people who are on the verge of quitting their jobs at this restaurant due to rampant stealing from co-workers. In fact, one was recently caught and fired. I personally would not want to have those people preparing my food. I know it really has nothing to do with the other, but it's really shitty when you get cash stolen from your purse, or someone giving extra change back to their friend that stops by to get a burger....using a register under your name. Take this as you will, personally I haven't heard too much from their food there. Just realize that some people back there are getting screwed over, bad, by their own co workers... read more

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience…read more We were seated for quite some time before I was able to get a menu, and I had to ask others at the table to look at theirs. We were there for over 15 minutes before bread was offered. The water tasted like tap water with an overwhelming chemical taste. I understand that we had a large party, and that can sometimes cause delays, but the issues went beyond slow service. Our entrees came out before the appetizers, and the food itself was mediocre at best, especially considering the prices. The biggest concern was food safety. We had several people at the table with severe dietary restrictions. One person ordered Alfredo, and when it came out, it smelled strongly of old seafood even though there was not supposed to be any seafood in the dish. After one bite, it also tasted strongly of seafood. This person is highly allergic to shellfish and had to take medication to counteract the reaction. Another pasta with white sauce appeared to have meat in it that resembled seafood as well. When we alerted staff, a replacement was brought out, but the seriousness of the allergy concern felt brushed off. To be fair, our server did try their best with a large table and did a very good job under the circumstances. The coffee was decent, although it was not made clear that it was charged by the cup, and the desserts were also decent. Overall, the meal was overpriced, the food was underwhelming, and the allergy/cross-contamination concerns were handled poorly. I likely will not be returning.

Unfortunately, the only Pizza Mills that I know of that are still open are the restaurants in Hobbs and Alamogordo. Anytime I'm in those towns, Pizza Mill my top choice of places to get a deli sandwich. My favorite since the 1980s is the #16 (Italian). I also introduced my 20-something niece to Pizza Mill. It was her first experience with a "local hole in the wall" restaurant. She was amazed at how good her sandwich was, and it revealed to her that if you see a restaurant that's kind of "plain Jane" looking, but has a bunch of customers, there's a good chance. the food is great. She tells me she misses Pizza Mill's sandwiches, despite living in San Diego, California where there's lots more choices than there are in Alamogordo or Hobbs. I think that is a pretty great endorsement for our little regional Pizza Mill and Sub Factory restaurants!

This rating is for The Arcade Dungeon located next door to the Pizza Mill & Sub Factory…read more My family and I visited this arcade for the first time this evening. After we ate our yummy food order, we decided to play some games before heading home. It's summertime, why not? Well, as my husband and son enter, they are approached by the co-manager of the arcade to ask for quarters to play. He states that the games are to be handled with care. They are not to be "banged on." Ok. Noted. As I walk in with my 6 year old son, we begin playing TNMT, and I notice he is standing behind me, but he doesn't say anything, he just monitors us as we are the only two customers in the arcade. As we move to the pinball machines, we played one or two before we are approached at the Jurassic World machine. Our son was playing on that one while I finished up with one next to him. The level of excitement is drained from all of us as he states to my son, "you cannot hit the buttons so hard, you will break them." We stated, this was his first time playing these machines. "You still can't beat the buttons that loudly, you will break my machine." Umm. It's a pinball machine, aren't we supposed to play with the buttons on the side of the machine? I'm pretty sure all of these machines make this noise when a customer is playing them?? Like what? We clearly were not playing on them that hard people. It is not like we were punching the buttons, the glass, or attempting to break the machines or even yelling; we were having fun, or so we thought. Also, as an owner, if you don't want your collection to be used by customers, why open an arcade if the customers are expected to softly play your games? Like I don't even know what he means by that? Softly is petting a kitten, I mean That's what I think of when I need to play softly? Plus, inside the restaurant it states " the money that is spent in the arcade goes right back to the arcade for maintenance for the games." If you don't want "kids or anyone touching your machines, you need to establish an "age limit," and encourage parents to be with their children. Have them sign a waiver so that you can make things even more complicated for your customers that just want to play some cool games. BTW. You gave a great collection, but maybe you should consider storing them in a man cave or a garage if you want them to stay in prestige condition. Also, I'm sure being glued to your phone was the main reason why you approached us, we clearly bothered you by coming in the door. The look you gave me when I asked for $5 in quarters. Cringe. Also, attempting to sell a pinball machine for 3500.00, and having a sorry attitude towards your everyday customers is NOT GOOD BUSINESS. But, best of luck to you dude. Our entire family is very disappointed on how this arcade is managed. We will never feel welcomed to this arcade again.
