She…read morestarted off asking me a few questions about my project, what I needed done, and what my budget was going to be. I told her I needed the kitchen, master bathroom and guest bathroom remodeled. Mind you, there will be no major floor plan changes, plumbing changes, nor electrical changes, so permits will not be needed at all for this 2200 sqft home. All I am doing is replacing what is there. My kitchen is about 14' x 14' with cabinets along two opposite walls, with a 7 foot peninsula coming out of one end, with upper cabinets only on one wall. The first thing she does is take my address and goes online to find pictures of my house on a real estate website to "guestimate" what my kitchen will cost based on photos that she looks at. She tells me $50,000. That's when I got suspicious about this place. I had three other estimates for my kitchen with measurements actually taken and they all came in around $25000. But the real kicker came when she gave me estimates for my two bathrooms based on photos again. Mind you, she has no idea of the sizes for these bathrooms, but based on the overall square footage, she knows it's not a 5000+ sqft home. For my guest bathroom, which is about 13' x 6', all I need replaced is the vanity, mirror, lights, toilet, and the alcove tub with tiling in the tub area, a simple job and nothing major. She quotes me $40,000. I nearly passed out, and now I'm thinking something is up. For the master bath, which is approximately 17' x 7' which includes a 6' x 5' shower (with interior tiling), two vanities, mirrors, and lights. She quotes me $60,000. Yes that's right, $60,000. That's when I knew something was up. (A) She either has no clue as to what she is doing, (B) they are giving me these outlandish prices because they are in high demand due to these times we are in at the moment and they just want to throw the highest most ridiculous price out there hoping it will stick, and if doesn't, no sweat off their back because they will just move on to someone who will pay their outlandish prices due to the demand, or (C) she was trying to dissuade me into wanting them to do the job because my budget ($50,000) wasn't worth their time and effort. I think (C) is most likely, if not all the above. Then come to find out there is a $5500 fee to have someone come out to take measurements in order to draw up a pretty design on a computer to get actual true estimates of what this project would cost. So you can see why I'm thinking (C). Please note, If you go to their page on Houzz you will see nothing but all 5 star reviews, not a 4 star or lower in site, and you will also see multiple completed projects with the same level of remodel I proposed, all done for under $50,000, completely proving my point. I will definitely be staying away, and finding a more honest business!

A few years ago they did our kitchen. We get compliments on it all the time. They spent tireless hours searching for the perfect sink we picked out and couldn't find in stock! The kitchen also includes a microwave drawer, trash can drawer, specialty drawers, pull out drawers in some of the cabinets, soft close, etc. We have now recently hired them again to do our bathroom after severe water damage. They fit us in and gave us a better than ever bathroom in a reasonable time. They also gave us all the documentation we needed for our insurance company. We also had them recently do a custom craft room. It's also amazing! They made my dream come true and figured out exactly how to lay it out so everything would be setup perfectly in reach for all my different projects! The designers are great at listening to what you want and providing suggestions to make sure everything looks great. They have a great eye for colors and styles. Additionally all the workers are very professional and do high quality work. They show up on time and make sure every little detail is perfect. You can trust them to do the best from design to build!

Thank goodness Adrian happened to have a sample cabinet door in his truck that PERFECTLY matched the color of our existing but discontinued cabinets! What a personable and knowledgeable guy! Mario & Allison personally came and did the final measuring. They went out of their way to locate and procure (from out of state) more of our existing backsplash tile, as well as picking up our hand-selected granite and getting it finished for install. So many wonderful and professional installers to mention: Pedro, Josè, Francisco, Noro. Sorry if I am leaving anyone out. All of you did fantastic work! Electrical, lighting, cabinetry, granite, tile. And thank you for expertly installing the handles we found for no extra charge! Who else does that?! We had two other quotes from other companies, and they were outrageously expensive, to say the least; made us feel like they thought we were naive or maybe just didn't really want to do the project because it was too small. But, we didn't choose M&P just because of their lower quote: we chose M&P because of the personal service and professionalism that was obvious from the beginning. We liked Allison's ideas and quote, which was the lowest. Workers were great, arrived everyday on time and cleaned up well. At end of job we had an extra shower tile so I asked if tile cutter could come back to cut the large tile to top my makeup vanity which I painted to match new cabinetry, and he did. Due…read moreto a pigeon problem we encountered this year, a drone was sent up over the roof to check for birds nesting. It was discovered that a lot of tiles were broken and cracked. I reached out to Barry and sent pictures and messages. He ghosted me. The only answer was to have my husband contact him which he did and we heard nothing. Buyer beware; physically inspect or send a drone up roofing work by them.

Bidding the project was extremely fair and transparent. All questions and concerns during the build were personally handled by Alex or his father.
