To further elaborate, the entire staff at Elmwood Dental Group is incredible.. dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and front desk staff-literally everyone there! Elmwood Dental Group make visiting the dentist an extremely pleasurable experience. More recently, my four year-old son fell face first onto a bench while visiting the Strong Museum of Play. With a quick call to Elmwood Dental, they had us in office in less than an hour. Their staff are so amazing with the little ones! Dr. Chris made his x-ray super painless, and as much fun as a four year-old can have getting an x-ray on a tender tooth. Dr. Comfort even gave out her cell number in case he had an issue over the weekend, while the office was closed. Additionally, I want to add that Kayla, the hygienist who worked on my two young boys, made it so fun for them, it seemed like a playdate. Same goes with the filling that Dr. Comfort performed on my older son. He was genuinely enjoying himself and having fun the whole time. Contacted Grateful Dental and the staff was extremely accommodating with the receptionist and hygienist providing an appointment the next day for a new patient to their practice. I completed the paperwork and arrived early at the appointment, as requested. Great review until this point. On the way back to the "chair", the hygienist mentioned they wanted me to get a full mouth x-ray. I asked if there was any way not to do this. As the hygienist explained why they wanted to do it, Dr Terri came out into the hallway and as the hygienist was trying to convince me to do it, Dr Terri stated "why don't we call it done, then". Thinking she meant to skip the x-ray, i said great and started to move to the dental chair. Then Dr Terry states "No. The appointment is over" and showed me the door. I was flabbergasted at this statement. In no way was I rude in my request and would have done it with a little convincing/persuading. Apparently, they are not really looking for new patients.
