Ugh. I wanted to change dentists because the one I've been going to for over 20 years is so hard to…read moreget into. It takes months just for a cleaning for both my son and myself. Example, I called in May as my last appointment got canceled due to the hygienist calling off. I ask to reschedule and they can't get us in until late February. I wanted to stay local so thought I'd give aspen a try. Annoying I could only schedule an exam and X-rays. They wanted me to do the exam and X-rays and then schedule to come back for a cleaning. My current dentist does all in one appointment. Well I won't be changing dentists. After my exam the doc tried saying I have gingivitis which I was shocked. I am a brush twice a day and floss each day person. I've never had any issues with my teeth. Ever. The doc didn't even tell me this. My exam was literally less than 30 seconds and the hygienist said "that's the fastest exam I've ever seen, nice job". When I got to the receptionist she is the one that said the doc said you have gingivitis and need a deeper cleaning than covered by insurance. Oh. And buy our electric toothbrush that we have a coupon for. I do NOT like being sold to so I said I have a right to partner in my care and I want the regular cleaning. The receptionist doubled down and said I had to do what was recommended. When I refused she said I had to set up another appointment with the doc and hygienist to discuss that. Seriously? I didn't even use my entire time from my appointment because I got such good accolades from my exam and X-rays. The experience got worse when I said I wanted my X-rays as in just going back to my dentist with this run around. It took 6 days to get them as the front desk associate said she got too busy and forgot to email them to me. Two stars as the front desk was apologetic that she forgot and she was nice. Oh, and my dentist just did the regular cleaning and said nice job. I had to schedule at one of their satellite offices and drive a half hour separately for my son and myself but that will teach me on attempting to change. Don't go to Aspen. I'm sticking with my regular dentist and biting the bullet to make the drive to a further office since my local one can't get me in. My dentist said that there was absolutely no reason for Aspen to have recommended "perio" to me. I see in the response from Aspen they didn't acknowledge their dentists' recommendation being a sales gig vs an actual client need. Aspen was trying to get me to pay $238 for a cleaning vs the regular cleaning insurance covers. Again, when I got into my dentists satellite office, the dentist said it was absolutely not needed and I have great teeth and gum health. Just a sales ploy at Aspen. Do not go there.

Had two wisdom teeth removed at ROS with Dr. Michael Krzemien -- ended up needing a new $2K crown…read more I opted for conscious sedation rather than full anesthesia and was told I'd feel pressure but no pain. However, the procedure began before the sedative had taken full effect. I experienced significant pain and requested additional sedation, but the extraction resumed almost immediately afterward, and I remained in considerable discomfort throughout. After the procedure, Dr. Krzemien inquired about my dental crown. He then explained that it had been dislodged during the extraction and had been reattached using temporary cement. My regular dentist later examined it and found the crown to be damaged beyond repair, requiring full replacement. In addition to the unexpected cost of replacing the crown, I was also billed for the temporary cement and that bill is now accumulating monthly service charges.

I was referred to Dr Fantuzzo, and after my consult appointment, I felt more at ease than I expected. I wasn't able to afford IV anesthesia (blame my insurance not the doctor) so I had to opt for Nitrous. The pain had gotten so bad that I unfortunately needed to get the surgery done the day before my birthday. BUT, oh my gosh. The surgery experience was fantastic. I remember hearing him say "first ones out," but I didn't feel a thing! My recovery was so smooth the next two days, no swelling, no pain, no blood. He's not a magician, he's an expert. He knows what he's doing. My surgery only took 30 minutes, and that's not because he rushed, it's because he is literally THAT good. If you ever need teeth removed by an oral surgeon, you will be in the best hands in the area (possibly the whole state) if you go to Dr Fantuzzo.

The staff was very friendly and made it feel relaxed but professional. The surgery went better than expected and seemed to fly by. They helped me get in the car afterwards while I was still out of it.

My dentist recommended going here after a tooth broke on vacation. I was in so much pain and they…read moremade time for me immediately. The staff was so comforting and accommodating. After filling out a short form I was taken right back. Dr. Brian Shaughnessy examined my tooth and the problem. Normally you would come back for a appointment however he decided to fit me in between appointments because of how much pain I was in. They really care about the patients here. I was given some anesthetic for the pain and it immediately started to work. The Dr. was able to start a root cancel on me right away. I felt so at ease here ( normally I'm a nervous wreck at the dentist) The staff continued to check on me as it took some time to take care of my tooth and working on other people. I left very drowsy but no pain. The office made sure to call me the next day to make sure I was ok. Tooth issues can be the worst but Victor Oral Surgery can be the best solution. I'm so thankful to Dr. Shaughnessy and the staff here for taking care of my tooth and me. Hopefully I don't have to get another root canal but if I do I'm coming back here.
