The electric furnace I had was 11 years old. I called N. S. B. for a second opinion. I should have called Marvin (N. S. B.) first! After testing gizmos and what-cha-ma-call'ems, he found a widget that did not switch off - or maybe it was stuck on? It cost a TOTAL of $180.00 to have Marvin replace the widget and get a new thermostat (the one that the other company sold me did not work). He came back on Saturday to ensure that the furnace worked without problems - he double checked the other gizmos to make sure nothing else was stuck in the wrong position and that the furnace was truly fixed. It was - and four days later - is still silently providing me with quiet efficiency. Marvin saved me from spending over $3400.00 needlessly with that other HVAC company. This service we received from Enright Heating and Cooling was, and I am not being even slightly…read morehyperbolic, the absolute best service we have ever received from any company for the many, many household services needed throughout the years, bar none. It was actually perfect. We finally got to the dreaded end of life for both our furnace and air conditioner and right during the busiest time for all companies, midsummer and right after two rounds of very damaging storms. We got a quote from the company we had been using and that quote wasn't necessarily gross outside of reasonable but we felt that with such a high investment we should get at least one more quote. We called Enright, who handled the quote and all of our questions immediately. They were less expensive than our previous quote, had a much better warranty and better financing. They are also clearly competent. The owner, out of mercy on our souls after the storms came to see our broken system first and we didn't hear him at the door and he had to leave. We felt horrible. He is busy! He treated us with such grace. The company is family owned and operated and works around the clock and are very accessible. The installers came right on time, were extremely polite and conscientious the entire time and finished their quality work ahead of time. They were clean, well organized and cheerful. Do not hesitate to use this company. I really don't see how their service can be beat.

My water heater went out. The company that "diagnosed" the problem charged me $99 and said that…read morethis did not include the cost to replace it. The company then quoted me $2200 as the cost to replace it and reiterated that this did not include the $99 that they already charged me. So yes, had I gone with that company, it would have cost me $2300. Armed with this information, I posted pictures and exactly what the "diagnosis" said and asked for emailed quotes...to be clear I said EMAIL only. I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. He came in.. with the water heater... replaced it... and went on his way. Other companies, that followed directions, also came in higher than $2000. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with Jason and Lakeland!
