If I could give zero stars I would. My son's labs did NOT get sent to his doctor, again. I called…read moreand left two messages for the lab to call me back, they didn't bother to call me back. So I stopped in to inquire why the labs didn't get sent. They offered NO explanations and said that I had to have my son come in with me with his ID before they could release any information. I understand HIPPA and everything, but they would not even tell me if the labs ever got sent to the doctor. They told me NOTHING and the woman that I dealt with seemed to really get off on her little power trip...how sad. I them asked if they could just send the labs results out again to the doctor: Denied! They said the doctor has to call the "results" line to get the results. So I asked for that number so I could give it to his doctor: Denied! I swear these little b*tches get off on making things as difficult as possible for their customers. This is not the first time I've experienced "attitude" from the women who work there. Terrible people. Terrible place. I will NOT be back to this office ever again. If you want to be treated like you're a piece of crap and that you're "bothering" them to DO THEIR JOB, this is the perfect place to go.

Yup, the five star rating says it all. But, to elaborate…read more. I was referred here by my ENT for further allergy testing as part of a lengthy process into fixing my sinus issues. While I'm not quite needle-phobic, I'm knee-quivering terrified of getting blood drawn due to a number of horrible experiences in the past. Since my veins are much smaller than average and difficult to locate, I've felt n' suffered everything from being jabbed all ice-pic like in the hands to black and blue bruises all over my arms. And sadly this has happened at clinics, doctors, hospitals and even in ambulances. Today I had to bite the bullet and finally get my testing done prior to yet another appointment next week. Tucked neatly away across the street from the Lincoln Mall, the process was amazingly quick and pain free. Reception called me up no longer than 2 minutes after sitting down for quick paper work. A few moments later, the same very friendly woman brought me to a back room, massaged my hand to expose a vein and WHAM, two viles of blood were drawn with zippo pain or bruising. I was so shocked in fact, I didn't even realize the needle was still in as she was doing it. So yeah, if I ever need blood testing done again, I'd prefer it were here!

I approached counter and staff member said, take a number, wouldn't even look up. Ok, so I became seated, and before I knew it, there was like 20 customers there, several walked out. Not sure what happened, but no one was being called. After waiting 15 minutes, an elderly couple approached the counter and when the lady complained about the wait, the employee started yelling and called for security. This employee was way out of line, she started the yelling. As it was finally my turn to be waited on, I waited half an hour, someone was called before me, I told the receptionist who had made a mistake in who was to go next. This location is at 1454 South County Trail, definitely will not be returning.

I knocked and after a few minutes a window opened. I felt as though I was interrupting them. After the initial greeting, I was instruct to sit in the adjacent room. There were many chairs, but having had blood drawn many time I knew what chair I should sit in without instruction. The technician soon cam in while still chatting with the other technician who was still in the greeting area. My blood was drawn while they continue to converse with each other and certainly not paying much attention to their patient. They were even criticizing their employer referring to Lifespan as "cheap". When the drawn was down the technician removed the needle not looking at the injection site, but rather looking towards the person he was talking to. Withdrawing the needle was extremely painful. Seem as if it was withdrawn at a bad angle. The picture shows the end result

Natick Rd. Same building as Concentra Urgent Care. No appointment necessary. The entrance is under the drive through portico facing Macy's (sort of). Nice to have the overhead protection to drop off someone on a rainy day. There is plenty of parking in front of the building. As soon as you enter, straight ahead a few steps lead down. If you need to use the elevator, it's to the right of the steps. The waiting area for the lab is at the bottom of the steps and to the left. Take a number by the check-in window and have a seat. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. When your number is called, hand your lab slip, ID and insurance card to the receptionist. Reception will log you in, be sure they have all your insurance info in the system and add the ordered tests which will print labels for phlebotomy staff. A phlebotomist will come to the door and call your first name when it's your turn. During my first visit a student phlebotomist did my blood draw under the supervision of the staff phlebotomist. She did a great job and I was in and out quickly. The room where they do the draws is brightly lit and very clean. Staff were all very friendly and the receptionist really helped me out with insurance. If this is a convenient location for you, it seems like a good choice. Now, let's see if my insurance carrier agrees.

The office is very small overall but cozy. There is one woman who works here and she is splendid. Extremely nice and professional. I mentioned to her that I have an issue with needles and that I will never out grow my fear unfortunately, and she was completely sympathetic. She used a needle one size down from the one she normally would use in order for me to not feel it. You know, I didn't! I was very thankful! She also took the time to explain the glucose test process. The office is very clean and well kept. There is some reading material, but nothing that interested me so my suggestion is to bring something to read if you think you will be awhile. My ONLY reason for the 4 stars is because they are not open weekends. I had come here Saturday morning as to try and avoid interrupting my work week and the hours, which are posted right on the door, only show Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm. So the only time I could do this was a weekday morning.

Also, if there's an issue with locating a vein they don't poke around. A simple butterfly (think that's the name) will be inserted. Rarely that's the case with me lbut it's happened at hospitals and other facilities - the constant poking with no blood. Here they remember and she finds the correct spot first try everytime. The intake is a bit lengthy but they do it right and unlike East Side they do it in front of you and explain any questions before you initial or sign. Again other places treat you like a deli order and you sit in the waiting room until they do the paperwork and surprise surprise, I've gotten bills for things my insurance didn't cover at East Side where Quest will look and make sure all is well. Even with the short hours - I'm giving this 5 stars because of the quality of service. Besides, I usually have to fast anyway so it's not an issue. It's a walk in & appointment so those that get angry, make an appointment.

This has to be one of the best kept secrets in Rhode Island!…read more Did you know that if you don't have dental insurance, you can still get a high-quality dental screening and cleaning free of charge? That's right! CCRI's dental hygiene school offers free dental cleanings done by students and supervised by professional dentists. When I entered CCRI's "C Entrance" I was provided with hand sanitizer, screened for signs of covid and given a name tag. It was then, that I was greeted by my amazing dental hygienist, Josephine! She asked a very long list of questions and procedures that she went through and made the experience of going to the dentist a really pleasant one. Now let me tell you that they do the whole sha-bang in their screening: Questions about sugar consumption, heart rate monitor, blood pressure check - everything! I was able to get a extensive screening done, a cleaning and a flouride treatment all free of charge. They even loaded me up with a bunch of dental goodies at the end (just like at the dentist). If you're concerned about your exam being done by a student, you shouldn't be. They do an incredibly thorough job and there is a instructor checking to make sure everything is done correctly. The ONE downside is that the exam is pretty long. For me, it lasted about three hours and other patients have to come back for a second visit on occasion. But if you have the time, it's a really good deal and they do a spectacular job. Did I mention that it's free?
