Dr Beaupre is a great doctor! thorough and he listens and always calls you with results and refills scripts promptly. The staff is friendly and you can get xrays and bloodwork done right at the office and not have to travel all over to get things done. I hadn't been to this location before. I used to go to the Cranston location and it was ok then, but the last time my husband had gone, it had gone downhill. I remember it was always very busy and would take a long time to be seen. When I went to this new location, there was only 1 person in the waiting room. That should've been the big sign I should go elsewhere. There was no dr on duty, but a nurse practitioner who, when she did finally come to see me, kept apologizing that she took so long and she was the only one on duty to see patients and she was doing the best that she can. I was there to see if my toe was sprained or broken. She didn't do anything except come in and ask what I was being seen for and then she had to go back out of the room to look at the x-rays. She comes back to say she thought she saw something, maybe a possible fracture in my x-ray, but it would be better to wait for the radiologist to review it, and if anything does show up, she'll schedule a telehealth call to give me the results. So that means I will have to pay for a phone call to find out if anything showed up on my x-ray. Then she sends a nurse in to "buddy tape" my toe. The nurse comes in and starts wrapping it w/a roll of gauze and didn't bother to make sure she had scissors beforehand. In mid-wrap, she tells me to hold the roll in place while she looks for scissors. No scissors in the room so she goes to find some, meanwhile, I'm holding a roll of gauze on my foot. She comes back to finish the hack job of wrapping the toe then asks if the NP recommended seeing an orthopedic dr. I said no, she wants me to come back in 2 wks. Like hell I will. 2 hrs & a copay just to be told I will have to pay again to find out if my toe is sprained or bruised b/c the NP isn't a radiologist. read more

FREAK-SHOW walk-in clinic. Receptionist seemed ok. The mail nurse came across as an old Popeye/the village people combo with a little Santa clause mixed in. The doctor seemed ok, so, here is where it gets Fun. The doctor wanted to prescribe me a antibiotic having asked me a bunch of questions (which was fine). I said let's wait until we get the blood work and throat swabs back. He seemed to oblige. A few days later I get a notification from my pharmacy that a script is ready. I did not get a phone call from the walk-in to explain my test results and I wanted to know the results of my tests before taking the antibiotic, so I went to the walk-in. I see the same receptionist and explain the above. I asked if I could quickly talk to a nurse or doctor to give me the results of my test's. She tells me I can see a doctor and my co-pay will be $30 bucks. ARE YOU FREKIN KIDDING ME. They want to charge me to give me my test results. LMFAO. We went back and fourth for a bit and I did not pay the $30 and I did see a doctor to go over my results. I just a got that bill in the mail (NEVER GONNA PAY THAT BILL). Dr. Beaupre is my husband's primary, so he goes on occasion with an appointment, which works OK. This review concerns a recent experience with the urgent care set-up. I don't think they are staffed adequately to handle both appointments & urgent care walk-ins. On a recent visit for urgent care, we waited nearly 1 1/2 hours before my husband was called in. Once in the examining room, he was left alone for over an hour with no sign of anyone around. In disgust, he dressed & left. The waiting room is small with very uncomfortable chairs. Just an unpleasant time and we cannot recommend this urgent care at all. read more

This is an honest review and I am Devastated by being Dismissed because my primary doctor is leaving the practice in Ri. . I am 72 years old and been going to the place for over thirty plus years. I have been watched for prostate cancer, as an Attorney i am really shaken by this event. I will not down the place, I am a gentleman I feel the owner has the right to dismiss patients, but in my personal. Opinion and that of my brother who a renown kidney specialist, we believe that the decision to dismiss patients who have been seen as long as I have is a Terrible mistake. I feel like I have been kicked in the stomach. I could not sleep from this new ordeal. Obviously because of my health problems I will take the necessary steps to insure my health and if I have to go out of state which means a long ride I will do it. This place is absolutely awful. The wait times are horrendous. Two separate occasions I had a creepy doctor who told me I looked like a famous celebrity. Both times they couldn't figure out the reason for my ailment. Wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way. BOTH times they called me later and realized they had missed something, and one time I had to rush to the hospital! Stay far away from this place! read more

This place is an Urgent Care and a primary care facility! BRILLIANT! Today is the second time I have been here. The first time was to see the urgent care doctor, Dr Sanders in March and the second time was to engage primary care services with Dr Beaupre today. I have been unable to get a first appointment with a primary care doctor with less than a 3 month or so waiting list. In the meantime my health has rapidly deteriorated. I called Midlands and was pleased to hear that I could get a PCP and even better was able to get an appointment with Dr Beaupre the NEXT day. They have everything - a lab, and Xray machine on site. I was blown away by the sheer slickness of the operation and the fantastic service from all the nurses... although the receptionist seems a tad aloof in her glass cubicle. I asked Dr Beaupre why he does not have a long wait period for new patients and he said that it is his goal to be available for patients who need help. And they were busy! How awesome is that?!? This Medical Centre is like Aladdin's cave. It seems like a little nondescript doctors office from the outside but when you go inside, wow! its like a mini hospital. I am so sorry I did not go there for primary care sooner. I have been suffering for weeks for nothing! And on top of it all, I dragged my 3 kids under 6 with me and received no flack whatsoever. In fact when I went for my Xray, another nurse stayed with my kids. I cant say enough good stuff about this place. read more

This is hands down the sketchiest Urgent Care I have ever been to. The nurse was an older guy wearing sloppy looking white scrubs and a fleece lined oversized pilly black sweatshirt. The doctor had on a torn long sleeve thermal shirt. Before he left to go get the pain med to treat my back pain (injection into your butt) I asked if a female staff member could be present since it was Amal's nurse and he said that wouldn't be possible. I was then told they had been out of the med that I was suggested (Toradol) since yesterday... after it was suggested by the doctor. Then the nurse came back in with a needle uncovered full of something that didn't look like the medicine that was suggested (I've had it before) and said that he "found" some. I declined the treatment and left. On my way out the nurse said "come back when you want something, I'll sure give it to ya" I rushed out the door and will NEVER return. read more

I am hoping this gets to the physician that attended to my condition. I have been dealing with a skin disorders for many years and was unable to go to Boston. I went into Midland medical and met with Dr. Nadeau. I had the opportunity to to discuss what I have been battling for 15 years he sat there and listened attentively. He was familiar with this condition and also realized that I had great knowledge about the topic. We created a game plan and with his quick and decisive approach we were able to get me in a better direction after 2 courses of treatment. I am now on my second course of treatment, and hoping I will recover. He was gracious during my whole examination and said, if you need to come in again I will be here on the following days. Caring,compassion and understanding is very hard to find today. I am greatful that we met. In conclusion, I would also like to thank Robin the nurse who made both transitions comfortable. Bavoux is great. He's easy going and seems knowledgeable. I love that I no longer have to pick up a blood work paper a week ahead of time. They'll do the blood work during my physical. It's so much easier and saves a lot of time. I've also called for an appointment same day. I didn't have to pay the urgent care fee and didn't have a long wait. read more

Dr. Nadeau has officailly turned myself and my family from going to Midland Medical anymore. My granddaughter has been suffering for a week with a migraine and this man has not only left her hanging but did not have the decency to return her multiple phone calls asking for instruction following her appointment since nothing was helping. She was going to just go to Kent and I should've forced her to do just that from the start so she would not be in this situation and still suffering. Anyone who suffers from chronic migraine understands the severity of these. Her usual migraine medication was not working, nothing was working and the days were going on so it was time to see an MD and try something else! 2 days ago, I drove her to this facility where she saw Dr. Nadeau for the 1st time ever- she usually sees another Dr. here who she talks highly to and refers many people to. When she had gotten into the car and I asked how everything went, she explained that the Dr. was very nice and that the medicine should be kicking in and everything seemed just fine. Dropped off her RX, she went home and followed Dr.'s orders- cold face cloth, dark room, etc. Things she is used to doing when she gets these awful migraines from time to time. My poor granddaughter had hope and thought highly of this Dr. as did I, until now. Dr. Nadeau had the nurse give her a shot in the bum which he said will make the migraine go away by the nighttime and told her he thinks she has an upper resp. infection and that's what may be affecting her migraine, etc. So, long story short. Following Dr. instructions and doing everything correctly- all night long my gd was still suffering with the migraine, finally ended up getting a few hours of rest. ALL DAY LONG yesterday, her myself and her friend all trying to get a hold of the Dr. for her to ask what she should do because she felt the exact same and would come back in for a 2nd dose of the medication of need be or to go to hospital- we were all trying to help her and looking for some sort of direction. No phone call back, no nothing. She called up until 9 pm last night, still suffering with her migraine and had hopes for the Dr to actually care about her well being and to tell her what she should do. FINALLY THIS AFTERNOON- she called while i was rubbing her head for her waiting to either go back to walk-in, go to hospital or to pick up an RX. Being a retired RN, I was sure that the Dr. would want to give her an additional shot and see if that helped or call in a different RX for her and if that did not work- instruct her to go to ER. These Dr.'s all know that she does not currently have a Primary Care Physician and that she is very healthy, just gets migraines from time to time and that's all. When my granddaughter and I called and this was the last time we were calling and made that clear to the girl who answered the phone- we explained that for the past 2 days we have gotten 0 response from the Dr and just want to know what to do!!! Last time I checked- a Dr. becomes a Dr. to help patients!!! This Dr. Nadeau- APPARENTLY ... "left a note in the computer saying he can't treat for migraines anymore" and the girl felt so bad and explained to my grandchild and I - that she's so sorry and that she would just go to Kent cause obviously he isn't going to help. Not that he could even take the time to write that!! OR HOW ABOUT CALL OR HAVE A NURSE CALL AND SAY THAT THE DR FEELS I SHOULD DO .. X, Y, Z... instead that is the only note he leaves in the computer!!! THANKS FOR THE HELP. And now I get to spend the night at Kent hospital with my granddaughter and hopefully get a Dr. who actually cares about their patients and wants to help. AND IF THEY CAN'T HELP- WILL RECOMMEND SOMETHING/ONE/WHERE THAT CAN! Very disappointed in this place and especially disappointed with Dr. Nadeau! He had made a comment to my granddaughter that he has never had a migraine headache but had something similar- and was talking to her about that. I wonder if he will ever get a severe migraine and finally see what people go through! What a shame! read more

On 3/23/16, I visited this urgent care for a high fever and cough. The doctor there did the appropriate work up on me and gave the right antibiotic. He and the staff were all very pleasant. The wait wasn't long at all and they were very efficient in giving me the treatment that I needed. The doctor took his time in explaining what was wrong with me and the purpose of the medicine that I would be receiving. I was very satisfied with my experience there and will definitely be going back if I have other medical needs. read more
