I got a couple's massage, and they allow you to book any two massages and have them in a room together. So one of the issues was partially our own fault, because we realized we didn't feel comfortable speaking up and asking for changes during the massage with so many people in the room. However, we were asked when we came in if we had particular areas we wanted focused on. We both said which areas, but felt that those areas barely got any attention. My mid back, which I had asked for focus on, got the least out of any area of my body, and I left with my main sore area hurting as badly as before. I did get a hot stone add-on, and that may have been part of the problem. It felt like my massage was a rehearsed process rather than tailored to me and what I needed. Both of us also experienced the therapists using elbows on bony protrusions in our bodies. Elbows were jabbed into our spines, and for me also a ton of the elbow sliding down my back and landing very hard on the top of my pelvis on my lower back. It hurt pretty badly, and I had bruising there the next day. I was tensing up a lot and not breathing, but it wasn't noticed. My boyfriend had deep tissue, but also felt that it was more painful because of elbows on his bones than it was actually getting deep into muscle tissue. Also on the plus side though, both therapists were very nice and professional. It just felt more like there is a specific rehearsed way of doing it than intuitive or tailored to the individual.

A special shout-out to Beatriz, who was awesome. She took great care of me, offered water and snacks, and ensured I was completely comfortable. The experience could have been better with a few changes. Noise and Privacy: The pedicure area was a bit noisy at first due to ladies chitchatting in the hairstyling area. Adding a door between the two sections would create a much more relaxing, true spa atmosphere. Lighting: The sun was very bright in the pedicure area, which made it a little hard to fully relax. Possibly adding some window treatments. Upgrades: Offering a warming eye mask (even as an add-on) would be a fantastic touch. Overall, I had a wonderful time and Beatriz is the best! I look forward to returning!

Else you would get lost in the maze of the property. The spa facilities itself was amazing. The locker room has closed door changing rooms, a steam room, and jacuzzi pool outside. I had the body scrub treatment which was amazing. I was in the vishy shower room for over 60 minutes where I lay in a warm waterbed mat and scrubbed and showered. I would totally have this treatment again. I felt so clean and soft afterwards. The only thing I would do next time is to spend more time at the Spa and enjoy the quiet time and space of this beautiful place.

There are 3 treatment rooms, along with a pretty restroom. The facial itself was peaceful, relaxing, and I just melted into the table and took it all in. There were some surprises, like arm & hand massage, along with a wonderful scalp massage. I highly recommend visiting Ginger and her new salon! My skin felt so good afterwards ‍

I had gone to urgent care and doctor appointments and I was told everything was fine that it was my anxiety and stress. So I decided to go for a massage to see if it might help. Let me say that God puts people in your path for seasons in your life and Nickole is one of them. Within 5 minutes she asked if I was headache central and if I had pain in my ears and jaw. She told me it was my traps and jaw (tmj). After the 1st massage I was headache free for days after months. I called my doctor to ask for a referral to physical therapy and sure enough Nickole was right on the money! I've been going to her for months and will continue to. She's also great with kids my daughter is 8 autistic and has ADHD after her massage she's calm and centered for a day or 2. I've had plenty of massages but no one compares to Nickole I've never had anyone tell me how I sleep with just a massage

When I got to my hotel, I searched for a massage place and luckily found Old Town Massage. I booked a session with Annie, and wow -- I couldn't believe how much better I felt the next day! I told her to do whatever she had to do to fix me, and she really delivered. The massage was definitely intense (as I requested), and I did wake up a bit sore -- but it was a good sore. Most importantly, I was able to play golf the next day like nothing had ever happened. Annie is incredibly skilled and clearly has a gift. I live in LA but I'm already planning to go back just to see her again. Highly recommend if you're in the area and need serious bodywork or just an amazing massage!

I went out here for a married couples retreat and stayed at the Embassy so when I searched massage places, Old town massage popped up. My husband and I booked for a 90min massage. I got Annie and sorry to say shes not good. Her movements were so fast that it didnt touch any of the points in my body. (Idk why they would massage you so fast, 90 or 60min is timed its not like they can get it done faster by moving faster.) But anyway, when they rub you down to wipe away the oil on your body the towel is hella rough. I was hoping my husband's massage would be better than mine but NOPE. he said he could've sworn the lady fell asleep a couple of times while massaging him. Worst part of it was when we went to pay, there is a $3 charge for $100 transaction so they charged me $6 for $200. I tip the ladies $20 but Annie was like its 20% tip so it should be $40. I just rolled my eyes and tip them $40. Ridiculous!! Trust me im a generous tipper. But I tip accordingly to the service I receive.
