Very friendly people here. My wife and I have had two foot massages here (4 feet total LOL) and really enjoyed them. Fell asleep both times, so it must have been relaxing. Located in a strip mall near other services, had some noise from neighboring business that was nicely masked by music being played and a fountain that was relaxing. I booked online but when I got there they seemed unaware. I requested a specific masseur but another person came in. They tried to make me change insisting Tony didn't do basic full body massages. But the website had him available for that type. They kept trying to upsell me on cupping and other items which I kept saying no too, but the limited English made it difficult to communicate my wishes and needs. Finally Tony came in and he did a great job addressing my specific injuries I wanted covered, but basically forced cupping on me and never really did a full body massage-never touched my feet, shoulders, arms, scalp, or chest. Most of the time was spent on cupping which I find to be quackery. He also put a heat lamp on me which felt nice, but when I went to pay he charged me an extra $20 for "Infrared Therapy". I would have rather not had that. Wasn't worth $20. Thankfully he didn't charge me for the cupping, but I did pay for a full-body massage I feel I never really got. Will not return! read more

The people here do not understand anything I am saying (not because they do not speak or understand English). I spent an a good deal of time on the phone trying to ask a question an got tossed around to different people who didn't know the answer nor understood what I was asking. The women who answered the phone spoke perfect English an understood English (I write this because the owner is using this as an reason for the bad service). But the lady who answered didn't understand the question I asked her about the in regards to the pricing on the web. So I went online to book an apt. Online their webpage says one thing, but when you try an book something it doesn't work. Super disappointed only cause I was excited based on all the wonderful reviews I had read. This had nothing to do with a language barrier. Simply the fact those working there had no idea about the web page I was talking about and the web page itself. I will be looking else where for a body massage that I can actually book an apt with. They have great reviews an I don't doubt they are good. But phone wise/ web page design are extremely lacking. Without exaggeration, a spacious, clean, and simply remarkable massage practice, at about 40% the cost of comparable Bay Area massage practices. I just can't say enough good things about this place. In a nutshell: Truly dedicated, serious, and caring staff. They've got it all: 1. strong deep tissue massage 2. healing Swedish massage 3. foot massage (body included with clothes on) in the open front part of the practice - they soak your feet in warm or hot water, as you like, first, whiile they massage your face and head, working the front of the body, then the feet, then your back...$30 for a full hour plus tip of your choosing. 4. full body (clothes off or not, as you like, private parts covered with a sheet, in private rooms with soft ambience, heated tables, hot stones (yes! the hot stones are included at no extra charge - most places charge extra), hot towels, and heat lamps if you have an injury (all at no extra charge!) Come on, at $50/hour plus tip for full body massage heaven! 5. gentle demeanor, respectful, professional staff with powerful hands and well-versed in several types of massage techniques. 6. Adequate staff on hand so it is easy to get an appointment. 7. No snotty receptionists with attitudes, texting and telling you they can't do this or that, can't fit you in for an appointment. They are personable, friendly, and if it can be done, they always go the extra mile at no charge. The customer truly is king (or queen). My friends and I go often all go in a car and go to Half Moon Bay together because this place is so effective and affordable. We go the weekends too and combine it with a day at the beach or dining there. When I'm exhausted and on my last legs, I spoil myself and get the 2 hour full body, whole nine yard treatment for only $100! Yes, only $100 for a full two hours in paradise. I hobble in feeling down and a bit depressed and leave feeling on top of the world. I really do. When my budget is low and I still want my weekly massage, I get the one hour foot for $30 and leave a $15 tip, simply because they are exceptional. It's a no-brainer. My favorites are Tony (he also will use accupressure, knowing all the pressure points if you have stubborn knots) and Wendy (a woman's warm and living touch with really strong hands) I've been getting massages for 25 years. In the past, it was an occasional treat because I just can't spend a fortune on a regular basis and I insist that it better be good if I take the time to go for one. At Wellness Spa, I go every week, sometimes two or three if I'm having Bay Area stress, aches and pains, or simply to get pampered. read more

He has very skilled hands and as a nurse of 44 years and the receiver of many massages I can tell you this was truly a therapeutic massage. Everything a massage should be and how is makes you feel was on an expert level. Starting with light touch and hot rocks and deeper massage. I got the combo foot and body and so I started in the main room and ended up in one of the private rooms for the body part. I feel 100% rejuvenated. 24 year old guy here. I had Jany for a 90 minute massage. She was incredible - Jany had the perfect amount of pressure and occasionally checked in to make sure I was comfortable. She used hot stones, hot towels, and even a space heater when the sheet was off me to make sure I was warm; what a nice touch! I just moved to Daly City and spent the day exploring Pacifica & Half Moon Bay. I was overdue for a massage and personally rarely go to luxurious places because I believe in quality affordable massages, and Wellness Spa was fantastic quality for the price! One hour full body massage was $55, and my masseuse was Linda. Honestly, I'm a bit of a critic with massages, but the massage I got was one of the best I've ever gotten. Perfect amount of pressure and time spent on every part of my body. Exactly what I needed. I move to new places every few months for work, but if I was a permanent resident, I would do their 10 massages package which is even cheaper than $55/massage! Such a deal! I stumbled upon Wellness Spa while on my way to Safeway. I dropped in just to take a peek, and was warmly greeted by Tony. I had to run off to an appointment but returned a couple days later. I had a 1 hour body massage and it was amazing! I typically get massages but have never had a warm heat lamp as part of the service. It was a nice touch and very relaxing. The facility was nice and clean and I really felt taken care of. Most importantly the massage and customer service was excellent. I actually fell asleep. Oh..and how can I forget about the prices. So I just got an hour deep tissue body massage from Cindy. I hate to say it, but it was one of the worst massages I've ever had. She just clearly did not know what she was doing and seemed very nervous - her hands were shaking. The worst part was that about halfway through the massage, there was a knock on the door. She opened the door and some man spoke with her for a minute or so. It was so awkward and uncomfortable; I was naked and laying on my stomach (obviously there was a sheet on me, but still...) It was very cold in the room and the sheets were either dirty or stained. For my mental health, I'm hoping for stained... because I don't even want to imagine that I was lying on a dirty sheet.
