First time coming here, treated myself to a 60 min Swedish massage. Turns out, it's the best I've had in a long time! Angela was professional, communicative, and left me feeling so much looser and more relaxed! Great value! read more

I had the best Swedish massage and foot massage 90 min combo a month ago! I probably didn't feel so good in 15 years. The scalp massage was so great I felt my scalp was softened even now. I didn't know my whole body was so tense! Thanks Jenny for giving me the best massage. This place is clean, calming and quiet. read more

My wife and I liked coming to this spa once a month however this week their communication was very disappointing. We called yesterday to see if we could make an appointment for later that day. Understandably they didn't have any availabilities but we came in person to make an appointment for a later date, today @ 5:30 PM. I put down my information and confirmed by appointment details with their booking system. Today we came in around 10 minutes early and check in like normal. Then 5:30 PM comes around and one of the ladies comes out and asks us if we can come back at 6:10 instead because the last person came in late for their appointment and no one is available. So they took in a late show appointment and now have to delay all subsequent appointments because they acquiesced to someone with poor time management. Don't bother with Wellness Spa as they won't respect your time. read more

They worked on my sciatica and I saw definite results for the better. Angela is especially good at deep tissue massage.

I started going here a few months ago after a neighbor told me about it and it is great. The very first massage my masseuse asked me about the pressure and lightened the pressure a little and it was perfect. read more

Had an amazing massage. There were three of us having massages. Everyone loved the service.

Jing said... "oh your back is so tight!" Oh yea, that's why I'm here for you!! To make me loosey goosey moose. And that's exactly what she did for me. She did a combo of hot stones and swedish massage, which made me feel amazeballs afterwards. I was skeptical of the hot stones but my back ended up feeling tension free and absolutely relaxed! I wish I live closer to this joint, so, I can visit Jing again. read more

Took my mom and grandma here a couple of days ago to get a foot massage, we got the 30 mins, which includes about 5 mins of head/neck/shoulder massage, then the rest is foot/leg massage. we all liked the massage, we all left feeling relaxed. Will definitely come back when I'm in town again. read more

Thank you, Sally, for the relaxing massage! I'm grateful for your kindness as well as that of the gentleman at the front desk. And I feel lucky I was able to easily book an appointment online for the same day of service, for half the price of other local spots. Great experience all-around! I will be back! read more

I am a massage therapist of 23 years and I try to avoid places like this but everyone else was booked and I try to keep an open mind because sometimes it's amazing. This was not amazing or even relaxing. I had asked for a Swedish massage with hot stones and basically got neither. She worked on my back for well over half the massage simply repeating the same exact strokes over and over at the same pace and depth which was both too fast and too hard. She did finish the back portion with a nice but short hot stone routine and then the stones were never to be experienced again. (Not even close to worth the $20 add on) My arms and legs and head were tossed. Every touch was aggressive which I know some people like and ask for but I specifically don't and didn't. I know how it feels to be a burnt out therapist. It sucks. And I know how it feels to be worked on by someone who is burnt out. It SUCKS! All being said I simply can't tip under 20% and she was standing right behind me as I paid so I turned around to hand her a cash tip which she snatched out of my hand and walked away. Don't know her name. We were never introduced. Which could be summed up with how she finished the massage. Smacking my legs "okay Lady!" I won't be back read more

Not good at all, went in for a Swedish massage after I spoke to the front desk agent. My masseuse understood no English, and was trying to translate through a phone application. When trying to tell my masseuse to be more gentle she kept it the same pressure, I now am in pain and have to take Advil. Plus got charged an extra $10 because the masseuse did a deep tissue?! When the front desk clerk confirmed before the start a Swedish?! lol. Save your self the money and go to a well known spot. read more

I honestly have to say this was the strangest massage I have ever had. I have had massages from around the world. I arrive a a couple of minutes early and was told to wait in the lobby. The first thing I noticed is an ATM machine in the lobby. A woman comes out to get me. I have no idea who she was. I was told to follow her back. I walk past a row of beds in the hallway with what appears to be foot massages going on. I go into a small private room and the woman points to the bed and leaves. I disrobe and hang my clothes on the back of the door and lay down. Many minutes go by and no one comes. Finally, she enters again and starts my massage. No conversation, no asking what I needed, what areas to focus on, etc. She didn't appear to understand much English. I asked her not to touch me in certain areas as I was extremely uncomfortable with her touch and manner. She kept on. She left the room a couple of times without telling me why. I could not tell who came back in as she draped my head with a towel and I was face down. I was not relaxed at the end of the hour. I went to pay and was told $2 charge to use a card which I believe is illegal in CA. I paid and rushed out and will NEVER be back. read more

Wonderful massage by Tony! My feet and back feel amazing! Great prices and easy to walk in with no appointment. I love this place!

Update: Took the whole family here for Mother's Day (five people). Two of them were in private rooms and three of us in semi private with curtains. We were fifteen minutes late due to insane traffic and they still took us. Experience was very nice. Sometimes there were customers who came in who were talking loudly but they were quickly hushed up by the staff. I appreciated that. My boyfriend liked it so much I could hear him sighing with relief very often. This is my fourth time here and quality is still very good. I was nervous about everyone in my family liking the massage but even the pickiest of them liked it and said they would come back in a couple of weeks and they were very gentle (they had Jenny, who I LOVE.) and they even helped some of my older family put their clothes back on because they have trouble with such activities. I am grateful for the very good service. A+ I am very happy that Tony and his staff went above and beyond to give us luxury service. This is now the massage place for my whole family as well as me. Thanks Tony for making my Mother's Day plans a success! read more

I recently visited the Wellness Spa in Half Moon Bay and I very pleased to make the acquaintance of Jing. Jing is a master massage expert specializing in acupressure. She also introduced me to cupping, which I knew about, but had never tried. I knew instantly that she was an expert as she does something that many of her peers don't know about. She is unique and very healing. Book a session with Jing today as you will not be disappointed read more

Day two of our Mom-cation in HMB my trio of gal pals stumbled into this "spa" after lunching next door. We were pleasantly surprised that they were able to accommodate all 3 of us for hour long half foot/half full body massages with no wait! For $60?!?! Sign us up!!! I was expecting a foot massage/chair massage combo, fully clothed etc. given the strip mall/nail salon set up of the location. We knew something was amiss when foot massages ended with toe pulling and a lot of calf-slapping. Once they finished the feet were each escorted to our own rooms (where the head of the massage table was protected by paper towels) after being directed to strip down we were each subjected to our own unique tortures. So. Much. Pressure. (And no adjustment when you say ouch-or scream out in pain) So.Much.Percussion. (Like karate chopping, or some serious BDSM foreplay) So.Much.Grab-Ass. (Like seriously, I love a good amount of attention to my glutes-but grabbing handfuls of cheek is not helpful!) We left not quite sure what we had just voluntarily handed over our money for, and seriously questioning whether we had just been jumped in to a underground gang. After a call to my therapist and a few rounds of drinks, I came to terms with the violation I had experienced-but all three of us were still feeling the pain these "massage therapists" inflicted 2 days later. read more

I have been in this place for Many times for a while, Brought my friends and family to there get authentic massage from them, I drive there from San Francisco it's takes me at least an hour to be there but it's way worth it, I just love to go there, such a great location, super convenient for parking in the mall, employees and employers are very friendly, especially they have great skills for treat customers! That's important! And we can have a great meal right next to the water after done a great relaxation! read more

very good experience !!!. Today I chose 90 minutes massage , the massage helped me reduce a lot of pain.Amazing massage !

They have very limited staff on-site and I have to share a masseuse with a family member. While it was fine since I didn't make an appointment ahead of time but the worst is they stepped out in the middle of your massage to pick up the phone. That's your money and time they are NOT spending on you and they don't make up the loss time. Cleanliness is also questionable. Most places that I have gone to use a disposable garbage bag to place over the tub of water that they soak your feet in. However I didn't feel the lining of the bag when soaking my feet and I couldn't tell since they asked you to lay down and now my feet felt itchy. read more

I was really pleased with the massage service here . I don't remember the name of the girl who helped me but she gave me an excellent massage . She asked where I was in pain and paid special attention to my shoulders . It did not feel at all rushed and I think she even went overtime . She really relaxed my muscles there and I feel much better. This certainly is the place I will come back too ! read more

Honest opinion. Massage was a 7/10 When I was paying they charged an extra $2 to run my card so I only tipped $5, and the lady goes "we recommend tipping $10 at least" as much as I agree that tipping is important, I paid nearly 15% Just due to that I won't recommend this place to anyone, customer service is important and I'd rather not have a face made at me for not tipping $10 during a pandemic when I actually needed a massage. Support small businesses that understand their customers. read more

My wife and I visited last week and we got 90 minutes massage . The staff here are really nice and the massage was super relaxing . I let them know my shoulders were especially sore and she really did pay extra attention to them . She gave a really strong massage , and it didn't feel rushed at all . My wife was similarly pleased with her experience. It's a clean and friendly place , we are sure to be back ! read more

Amazing first visit. Jing is one of the most experienced massage therapist I have seen.

Great massage experience! Can't believe it's so close to home. Great value, easy, convenient, and effective! Limited English conversation but "harder? And okay?" Are enough to get a great experience. Great intuition for where I was hurting or tense. If you like a strong deep massage, they can provide (I'm sure lighter services are great too) Honestly considering this in place of future chiropractor visits. read more

I wish I lived in Half Moon Bay so I can see Jing regularly. She found my problem spots with one touch. And she worked on spots that most massage therapists brush over- like my arms and glutes. She introduced me to cupping. I'm not sure if it was the massage or the cupping or the combo, but I felt amazing when I walked out! read more

I had THE best massage of my life by Lucas today. He had such a perfect feel for what I needed... I have two small kids and my hips and back are so completely wrecked from holding them and being on bedrest with the second kiddo. Not only was he able to work out the knots and open my hips a bit without it hurting (I'm kind of a wimp) but when I left, I feel so much more balanced. Lucas is the best and I'm requesting him every time I come back to this place. read more

Without question the best massage in Half Moon Bay. This place is not fancy but I was in a private room that was clean and quiet. Located in a busy shopping center between Verizon and a taqueria, this shop could be easy to miss but what a find! Cindy gave me the best 90 min massage I've ever had on the coast and I've tried them all. Only $95 for a 90 min massage that included cupping and ended with hot stones. She kneaded every single knot and kink on my body and I left feeling incredibly relaxed. Will be buying the membership and making regular visits a part of my wellness routine. read more

Wellness Spa - Massage Near Me - Half Moon Bay, California

My fiance and I came up here for his birthday. He wanted to get a massage so we checked out some places on Yelp. We found this spa. Usually, if it's an asian massage spa, the quality of the massage is really hit or miss. I've had the $25.00 foot massage that includes the body, and also the $40+ in-room massage. Generally, they feel exactly the same except my wallet is less full after. We decided to try the FULL BODY massage out for $55.00. I was very hesitant but ended up being pleasantly surprised. The quality was above average for a foot spa. They man who worked on my back did a very good job and I felt 100% rejuvenated. Also, I asked if we could do a couple's massage for an hour and they opened the double door between two rooms so it created one large room. My fiance said the woman he had was very powerful and worked out several knots. Totally worth it. We tipped $20 each. The only issue was, they really tried to sell the cupping technique. Like, the woman would literally not stop asking if we wanted it throughout the massage after we clearly said "next time". read more

Ok let me just start this review off by saying I've had many luxury spa experiences.. 5 star tropical resorts.. the spa at the four seasons and while those are luxury accommodations the massages were not as good as the massage I had today at wellness spa. TINA has the strongest most amazing hand work. Honestly I was in so much pain in my shoulders and lower back going in and I walked out feeling 100% better. If you like deep tissue or are in need of it see Tina here she is so so so amazing. I'm not even kidding when I say this was the best work I've had done in a full body massage read more

So good. Worth a drive. Worth stopping for. Good reason to come to Half Moon Bay. Make it a trifecta. Buy some plants. Eat some seafood. Feel amazing. I have hired and employed a ton of therapists over the years. These people are really good. And they are inexpensive. Half the price I would expect to pay. read more

I'm impressed! I got a gift certificate to this place and didn't expect much. No frills, the space is clean. The massage was vigorous, but I managed to fall asleep. I recommend! read more

First time visit @ Wellness and definitely not my last. Cindy was assigned to me and besides the full body massage, she focused on my problem areas (knee and elbow). Using a combination of strong hands, sharp elbows and knees, she was almost putting me to sleep! My main complaint is that they don't have a sauna, but Cindy reassured me to try the hot stones next time. read more

Very, very happy with my experience here! Cindy was my masseuse for both my full body and foot massage. NOTE: I would recommend the full body and foot combo (I was not sure if I'd have time so I added a foot massage after my full body) if you're interested in both. It's a two hour service and you'll love it. I also added cupping to my massage and hot stones to my foot treatment which made this a very unique experience! The prices are very reasonable and the quality of service is high. The studio was quiet, relaxing and clean. I absolutely will be back! read more

As we all know it, massages are not cheap in the Bay Area. My boyfriend surprised me with a massage from Wellness Spa and in my mind, I loved the gesture but didn't had high hope for a great massage. Tony changed my mind! I live 45mins away but I'm willing to drive to him because he's good at his job! He gets the knots on my back with enough pressure every time. Not to mention, the price is decent for a good quality massage. It's been my go to place ever since! read more

My wife found Wellness Spa on a Yelp so we decided to give them a try. We've been here twice now and both times we've each had really good experiences with making appointments online and the massage therapists who worked on us. So the location is in a strip mall and parking may be a little difficult but we've not had a problem. Wellness Spa is clean and the folks who work there are all very nice and accommodating. When we're ever in the area we'll definitely come back and would recommend this place. read more

This review is a combination of my and my gf's massages. First me, I give the place and my massage therapist Jing all 5 STARS! The place itself has a nice vibe, and we each got our own personal massage room. Jing was amazing and very skilled! She asked to check if the pressure was okay. She started out with hard pressure which I like so I didn't need to have her adjust. She didn't talk much which I also liked. I was able to fully focus on the massage and fully relax. The stone massage towards the end was also a great finishing touch. Now, on to my gf's massage, she gave it 3 STARS not because of the place but because of her massage therapist, who's name I will not mention for courtesy. My gf said she talked almost the whole time so she wasn't able to fully enjoy the massage. Not only did she talk most of the time, but what she talked about was complaining about her life, and the overall negative tone of her conversation added to my gf's lack of enjoyment and relaxation, which was unfortunate. All in all though, I really enjoyed my time here and if I ever visit Half Moon Bay again I will definitely schedule another massage session with Jing! read more

Came in to make an appointment, the front desk can't speak English!!! Kept asking him, which therapist is the best for deep tissue, and his reply is all good!!!!! I am deep tissue specialist, so I'm extremely picky, and as most people who love deep tissue, it's a hit and miss, to find a good deep tissue, is a rare find! I really hate bad service like that! My advice to the owner, is find a better receptionist who can really answer questions. Someone who can, recommend the right therapist to each client's need! read more

Best massage! Cleaning protocols are top notch. Comfortable room. Making appointment on-line is a breeze.
