This is probably one of the most painful things I have ever experienced in my life... but it was definitely worth it. People are not exaggerating when they said it was painful. My back was extremely tight/locked and she was able to relieve most of the tightness after just one session. The adjustment she did for my back was the most painful part of the therapy. I found Naiomi thru yelp, i was searching for a place that offered cupping therapy aswell as deep tissue massage, well I found it here! And i am glad I found this place. Naiomi had available appointments as i was in dire need having a shoulder injury due to doing HITT training exercises. She worked on all my areas that needed attention, she got all my knots out, i couldn't elevate my arm from the pain i was in, by the end of my session range of motion was back! I felt instant relief! I was in tremendous pain from a golf ball sized knot in my shoulder. I was unable to turn my neck or sleep because of the unbearable pain. Naomi was able to see me the same day that I reached out to her. The 90 minute massage was definitely painful, but extremely effective. She expertly applied heat, rocks and pressure (lots of pressure) to the knot in my shoulder and all over my body. I walked out feeling 90% better and slept soundly last night. I am sore today, but feel much better. I will be back to continue to work on my knots and prevent them from ever getting to the level of pain I was in when I first came in. Naomi means business. This is not a casual massage. She also is direct and straight to the point. Pretty much a blunt woman. I scrolled through some of the reviews before I saw her and notice a few people didn't like her attitude. She's really nice, but she can come off as mean if this is the first time seeing this personality. If you're hispanic or from Brooklyn or Russia you will understand. I was told from my chiropractor that my lower back and leg muscles are seriously tight. I did not know how bad my case was until Naomi started working on the knots. I was a little put off at first because this was the first time I felt pain from a massage, but I got used to it. I compare it to using a foam roller except I can't pull away when I start feeling pressure. Overall, great job. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Naomi is a phenomenal healer . she's also hilarious ! if you're looking for a relaxing massage, she's probably not your gal. however, if you've got a new injury, or some chronic pain from old injurys - she is most definitely your gal! I wouldn't even really consider this a massage, more myofacial muscle releasing (i'm not a masseuse so i'm not privy to what she's actually doing but it reminded me of that). she works with you to focus on your breath work to help to relax the muscles, however be prepared to be quite uncomfortable as she works out the kinks. I did read a good amount of other reviews and knew exactly what I was getting into. I think I had an old AC tear and have had poor mobility and chronic intermittent pain in my R shoulder for about 5 years and while she was working on it I thought i was going to scream, but let me tell you, once the muscles released (or whatever happened that provided me relief) - the pain was gone and the relief I felt was incredible! not to mention I can move and stretch my R shoulder out in a way I haven't been able to in years! All in all - I 10/10 recommend to the right person - go In knowing it's not a relaxing spa day, but more a necessary healing process for someone with chronic pain/mobility issues. also be aware you do have to zelle her a portion of the appointment charges up front to secure the booking - i was glad I read the reviews that discussed this so I wasn't sketched out. read more

I have never written a review before, but a massage from Naomi was a revelation. I have had many fine, relaxing, expensive hotel spa massages in my day, but never have I experienced an actual change in my body from a massage as I did with Naomi. Apparently I'm "too ill" to be massaged. My husband booked two massages thinking we could get them at the same time. He's from London and with her accent something got lost in translation. When we arrived she explained we had to wait and do separately. It was late and I had been driving for 4 hours. My husband said just do my massage and he would go elsewhere to save time. Immediately she became irritated and said the only reason she rushed to her office was to make money for 2 massages. She asked what I was looking for. I explained I suffer from fibromyalgia pain in my neck and shoulders. I'm a permanent makeup artist so leaning over my clients takes a toll on my body. She wouldn't even let me finish and said I can't work on you. I don't work on Anyone sick. I was so confused. I asked if she thought fibromyalgia was contagious. She clearly had no clue what I was referring to. She tried to explain and I was nice enough to listen but honestly I was appalled someone would be so bitter about an honest mistake to say I won't help you. Massage is one of the leading recommended treatments for fibromyalgia and I have been to many amazing masseuses who are good people who want to help. I was referred to Naomi by one of her clients and it was the best thing I ever did. Naomi was great! If you have very tense muscles and need more than a spa massage to loosen them up, she is for you! Naomi is very thorough in learning about you before she makes an appointment with you and knowledgeable in her practice. This is definitely a no nonsense kind of therapeutic massage. Naomi worked out all my knots and was even able to get the ones in my legs that no other deep tissue massage has ever gotten out before. Naomi is no sissy. This is not a place for sissies. If you need a deep tissue massage then this is the place to go. Naomi's expertise with physiology is amazing! MDs and nurses would feel comfortable on her table because she really knows what she's doing! She helped me enormously with a bad shoulder and just how far she could take me to fix my many problems. But this is definitely a workout, not a spa experience. I highly recommend her for deep tissue work. She includes cupping, which I found unnecessary because she does such an incredible job of releasing your lactic acid, it's not really needed. But I guess some people expect it. I'm definitely seeing her again after I get cleared by my MD, she found an anomaly on my back and immediately referred me to a doctor. Which is a really good thing.
