She is honest, and caring and kind and personable. I look forward to have my treatment plan done by her and I despise the dentist! Also, the office is comfortable and quiet which is the complete opposite of the other office I visited which was loud and chaotic.

The new plan was a healthier more cautious route as well as more cost effective. They have a "calming menu" where you can request a blanket, headphones, warm neck pillow, etc. for more comfort and dental anxiety which I think we all can agree that we all get! I learned so much about myself and they were so thorough. Dr. Ip, Shae, and Grace were all such a pleasure. On this visit, I learned that I have a deviated septum and also a tight oral frenulum. These might be why I have breathing problems at night. The team was never pushy with trying to sell me on services or products which I really appreciated. They have such cool technology that really gives me an in depth overview of my oral health. The only thing I would recommend is if they played music in the lobby or something. My first visit to Walton dentistry was fantastic. The hygienist was super nice. I have mild sleep apnea and grind my teeth at night so I was interested in a mouth guard. Instead of just going with it, she explained that it was not covered by my insurance and talked to me about several alternatives. When Dr. Walton came in, he also talked to me about options and things I could try to help with my grinding and sleep issues. They were so caring. Unfortunately, I had a cavity so I had to visit again. Once again, they made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I even got to watch Netflix with headphones. I am so happy to have found them.

The estimates, treatment plans and transparency were all over the place at other offices than Westgate Family Dental. My first interaction was with Liz. She is so kind and communicative, but you can tell she is an absolute fighter for solutions for you. She runs the financial role of the business and I could not be more impressed with her professionalism and experience with navigating insurance companies, Care credit, and a patient's priorities. I'm a hairdresser and deal with a wonderful and very affluent clientele. I felt like I looked cheap with messed up teeth. The consultation was incredible. Dr. Christy Tu is a perfectionist. It was such an educational and solution driven experience, that I followed all of her advice. I later found out she went to the USC school of dentistry. A top tier school for general and cosmetic dentistry. I didn't way my implants to look like chiclets. I wanted them to look real and natural. She nailed it. I couldn't be happier with the results! I was in a period in my life where I did not have dental insurance so I was a cash pay patient. When I went in the last time, they insisted that I have x-rays and that if I didn't, they were not "running the business as they were taught ". So as it turns out, Dr. Peters wouldn't even clean my teeth! She talked to me like I was an errant child who was misbehaving. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I reached out to the owner of the practice and she called me back and apologized for how things happened and even offered to do the x-rays for free. Although I greatly appreciate that, I have no desire to go back and have to see Dr. Peter's. So I advise if you go to this practice make sure you have health insurance or unlimited money because people who don't are not really welcome.

Duyen is a wonderful hygienist, gentle and non-judgmental about my terrible flossing. I'm lucky to not have any major issues but my wife recently had to have an old crown replaced (put in by her family dentist back in CA) and she was very happy with their work. These guys are honest and old school (but tech-forward where it makes sense). No unnecessary upselling or over-treatment, which I appreciate.
