Previously, I had been seeing an acupuncturist at another facility and it was a not a good experience: the woman was nice enough, but she would quickly poke all the needles in, tell me to relax then slam the door on her way out. I would lie there as I heard people talking just outside the door, things slamming into the walls, loud pop music playing, etc. Not relaxing at all. So I sought out a new place and found The Heart to Hand Healing Center. I see Erikka for acupuncture and from the get-go she made me feel incredible comfortable. She spent time getting to know me and the issues that I was seeing her for, and customized my acupuncture experience. I've gone to see her two times now and each time, I leave feeling relaxed and stress-free. I've made regular appointments to go back. Highly, highly recommend The Heart and Healing Center.

Custom Crystal has been one of those places that just sticks with you over the years- especially…read morefor me and hubs back when we had our antique and vintage shop right here on Cedar St. Custom C. is more than just a metaphysical store and feels like a calm, welcoming space as soon as you walk in. There's a soft incense scent in the air mixed with bundles of sage and palo santo. Shelves have beautiful crystals: amethyst clusters- which I got one to bring to our new home in Westchester, there's rose quartz I think, citrine and a few others. Along with spiritual candles for relaxation or just creating a peaceful vibe. You'll also find handmade jewelry, small brass bells, lots of essential oils and other unique items that make it super easy to bring a little calmness into everyday life. But what really makes Custom C. special is the owner who's kind and easy to talk to. I wanted her advice on which Quartz to buy for bringing positive energy into our new home and suggested an amethyst. Here the thing- she has $15 amethyst, 20s, 40s and up and she was never pushy for me to get a pricier piece. At $45 for my amethyst, I was ready to display it in my new home. So whether you're into spirituality or just browsing out of curiosity, she totally makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

I was having lots of belly aches, I had deepening circles under my eyes from the lack of rest and my neck was in constant pain. I knew I needed to do something. I just didn't know what. I went to see Mital for her Soul Blossoming session using non-needle acupuncture techniques. I just wasn't much of a believer. When the pain got almost unbearable and I had already been to the chiropractor several times that week, I decided to give her a call. Within 10 minutes of being on her table, I already felt more relaxed. By the end of the hour, I was in a different euphoric state. I definitely knew what was going on with my body was energetic. What I didn't know was what the pain was all tied to. The discovery blew my mind. Not only was I able to release the pain I was feeling, I was able to let in a deeper level of love. My heart felt open. Today the neck and belly pain is gone. I look younger. The circles are gone. I feel lighter and I am experiencing more love in my new relationship.

After doing some exploring in Nyack, something told us to make a left and walk down the road, which is where we found The Open Spirit. We had the pleasure of meeting Jackie, who had such a warm and fun spirit! She greeted us with open arms, engaged in a conversation, and go to know who we were. We've been back numerous times since, and every time Jackie remembers who we are. In fact, the second time we ever went back, was to check out Nyack's street fair. We went to visit Jackie's booth and the minute we stepped foot she told everyone inside that we were the guys from NYC she couldn't stop talking about. It was such a humbling and grateful experience.
