It was easy to make a reservation on the website and the times of the class were convenient. I also appreciated that during the booking process I could select my spot in the class. The studio has plenty of space to store personal items, cubbies and coat hooks on the main level and lockers in the basement. Because it was my first time at the studio I was able to use a mat and towel for free, I believe they rent them for a low fee. The only place for improvement would be front desk, the young lady greeted me with a smile and was very nice and responsive. I've visited other studios where I felt welcomed as a first timer and was given a tour of where everything goes and where everything is located and that level of service didn't happen here.

I was new to Pilates so she was really great the first class since it was only four of us she was able to pay a little more attention to my form etc which was very nice of her . I was impressed with how sore I was the following day , I work out 5-6 times a week with a trainer but this class really focuses on all those hard to reach areas like inner thighs , core . The studio is beautiful and very clean , the staff is warm and welcoming . I travel all the way from the north shore of Long Island to join these classes , that's how much I enjoy them ! Listening to loud phone conversations while on the treadmill I get off and leave. If u dont need classes join Pro Body Fitness a few blocks away. THey have a strict restock policy and no cell phone policy they actually enforce, and way more weight machines.

There was literally a guy training for the olympics there. But, my first class was tonight and the trainer was great. I was relieved to see that the others in the challenge class were at my level and the trainer focused the class on our goals and abilities. Kicked my butt more than any other workout has, including 3 years with a personal trainer, but I felt supported and confident throughout. 27 days left-and while I am not looking forward to the pain, I am excited by the results I believe I will see. As an update-I lost 6 pounds and a dress size in a month and am a lot stronger. I can't believe I can actually flip tires and push trowels. More effective than anything else I have ever done. Tod and his team are motivating, knowledgable and patient.
