CrossFit Eastchester has all of those features of a top notch CrossFit box. The equipment is well maintained and they have all the essentials to get your WOD on. Now here is the part that makes this gym the best I've ever visited. The culture.The culture at this box is unreal. I'm in the Army and we stress command climate and unit culture and it takes years to perfect or get it right. Some units will never get it right until new leaders take over or the whole organization has a massive turn over. CrossFit northeast has a culture of respect, camaraderie, professionalism, fitness, and most importantly fun. Everyone from the instructors to your fellow athletes have bought into the culture created at this gym. I am continually impressed by this gym day in and day out. Each coach has their own approach in assisting all athletes of all levels continually improve. Furthermore, ALL the staff pay in side-by-side with the athletes. Once a class ends they chalk up and put the f*** up. It's reassuring to see they are not only human but can execute everything they teach in class. Last but not least, the programming is top tier. I was home for a good chunk of leave and needed a spot to do my programming (Thor 3 & Mountain tactical) and I decided on CrossFit Northeast Eastchester. It was clear on day one the programming at the gym blew my prescribed workout plan out of the water. I was truly humbled when I came to execute a class instead of execute my programming and I got dragged through the mud. I eventually changed over to just following CrossFit northeast's programming. All in all I recommend CrossFit northeast to anyone looking to improve their fitness. It doesn't matter if you're 18 or 80 everyone in this special community is part of a team which I've never seen before. Sometimes classes can get a bit crowded which doesn't allow as much individual attention as some might want (or need), but all in all I highly recommend...especially if you've never done crossfit before. They offer a free trial class and you can also do an "on-ramp" set of classes to get the basics down before you jump in (which you'll want to, believe me). I was looking for personal training that is truly personal and tailored to me and my needs, and that's what I'm getting. I'm not running a marathon any time soon, nor will I be in any fitness competitions - I am just a dad who wants to be in shape and feel good. On 1/28/24 I authorized max to charge my card $1,604 for personal training sessions. Everything was actually ok for the first month so when February came around I decided to get a membership for $200 a month for 4-30 min sessions. I thought I could save a few dollars so decided to sign up. I gave Max my credit card and he had said to me that I could actually do 2- 1 hour sessions since I was in pretty good shape. I was ok with that. When I got home I did some calculations and realized it didn't actually make sense to do the membership. So for my following appointment after my session I said " I don't want to do the membership anymore can you please cancel it" and max said " don't worry about it you didn't do the paperwork so you don't have to cancel it" I said ok and I was fine with that. I go do surgery I go back to the gym months later, but before I even go back to the gym I text max over and over for literally weeks saying hey I wanted to finish up my package so I can be done with my sessions. Weeks later max finally send me a text that I had 6-1 hour sessions left because of the membership I had paid for. Great at that point I was only charged $200 for march. I was like great. After that text max goes back into my card and starts charging me a $200 a month fee and I knew nothing about it. I didn't catch it for months because I don't use the card and couldn't understand where the balance was coming from. After I specifically sent this man multiple text messages that I want to finish my sessions and be done he goes behind my back and bills me for a membership . I have since asked max for the paperwork that I signed for this membership but it does not exists. Now I have to take off a whole day from work to go to court to sue this man for my money back. Max Pierre is a thief and he's unprofessional. This man was either late for every session, ended the sessions early or sometimes both, he would be going to answer the phones during my paid sessions, assisting workers with fixing the treadmill, it was always something with him. all while I waited for him on my paid time. Seriously people should stay away from this gym and this man. He can't be trusted. I am going to make it my business to go on every platform I can find to warn people about this man's business practices. Please be careful out here. I am now out of $800 because of this man .and I will now have to lose a day from work to sit in court all day. When these companies ask you to write reviews when you are a new customer don't write them wait a few months to see what kind of business people really operate. FYI I spoke to a trainer that use to work there and he told me that max does this all the time people ask to cancel memberships and he does not do it. Apparently people go on vacation and months later find out this man has been stealing from them. Also if you are a personal trainer be very careful he owes a previous trainer $7000.00 for services rendered and as yet to pay.

She's fantastic!…read more I am not someone who loves to work out, yet ever since I started going to Rei Pilates a few months ago, I find myself coordinating my calendar around how many times I can get there in a week. Something about the tone and vibe of the place (and Rei herself) is energizing. The workout is awesome. I've take pilates at numerous other studios and Rei's classes are the best. Her techniques and moves are fun, efficient, and effective. She switches it up and has you do just enough reps where you feel it working without pushing it to be painful and unpleasant. I've seen more results going to her classes for 6 months than I have in years of going to other studios. And she plays great music which makes the time fly by! The studio itself is clean, modern and bright. She has the new reformers which are sleeker and easier to use than the chunky older ones at other places. (She also stocks the cutest athletic clothes, which are fun to browse after a good workout.) Highly recommend!

Chris, my trainer, is extremely personable, focused, and on top of all our objectives. I've always thought the best customer service experience is one where the client feels like they're the only client in the universe, and that the party providing the service is devoted to the singular task of addressing the client's needs. Obviously, a bit of a fantasy given a business with multiple clients, but some businesses pull it off: they create an environment where you feel like you're truly cared for, as if you're the only client. Evolve Athletic Club has accomplished this with me. The staff here are extremely competent, supportive, attentive to detail, and prioritized all my personal objectives. Every question has a good answer and every workout is challenging. A lot of care is put into recovery and nutrition. The space is very clean and organized. The staff has done a great job to build amazing rapport and trust. On a side note, you know the expression, "zero fucks given"? It's this attitude where a person literally does not care about a single thing. Plants need watering? No. Need to pay rent? Nah. Clothes getting dirty and need washing? Whatever. Failing school? Ite. Evolve is the opposite of this. In fact, I think they're the opposite of this plus more. Not only do they do everything you think that's required of them, they also do stuff that you don't consider. They take the initiative to say: "hey, this is cool and could be beneficial to you. Why don't you try it?" But, but...you're reviewing a business. Aren't corporate entities "it's" and not "they's"? Sure. However, I stopped thinking of Evolve as a corporate entity as soon as I started working out there. All the staff members look organically happy and engaged, and everyone has a great sense of humor. It genuinely feels like the people here are part of a family. Perhaps I'm just happy that I'm in much better shape. But, at the end of the day, results are results. Not only did I get results, I got them with a process that was fun and engaging. I'm more encouraged than ever to work out and be healthy.

Located on Main St., Juan (owner?) answered all my questions and he in turn, took his time to be as specific as possible, a tour of the gym included plus a Free Trial class whenever I wanted. Perfect! Classes here an ultimate plus for me and that's what I actually loved right from the beginning: those good old-fashioned Toning, Bootcamp, Leg Workouts that really work for me plus Personal Training. And if you're into Zumba, they got that too. The following Saturday, headed down to Tuckahoe for my Free Trial Bootcamp class with Steven who made me work Abs, Arms and Leg muscles in a totally different way. Let me put it this way, the guy was professional, on top of his game and attentive! Man...I came out of there sweating bullets and loved it! I love their pitch and what these guys stand for- but because of my personal time constraints at the moment, the 20-minute trip is what I have to consider. But this is really a cool gym and the price (and attention) is right!

I bought one for a friend and I. Honestly we could not be more pleased! Staff is very friendly, Juan the owner is extremely attentive and helpful. This is not a huge fancy gym, instead an intimate gym where your trainer knows everyone in the class by name. They offer bootcamp classes, Zumba classes and even core classes. If your looking for something different from your ordinary gym experience try I train with Juan, you will not be disappointed!
