A spa day was just what I needed. I purchased a 50 minute massage at Well & Being Spa which gives you spa access (salt room, jacuzzi, relaxation room). The ambiance was so beautiful and relaxing. Clara was my massage therapist and she really worked out my knots and sore spots. She applied the right amount of pressure without hurting me. I felt like a million bucks afterwards. I spent a few hours in the salt room and then was so exhausted I came back to my room for a nap.

This is in the top 3 spas I have ever been to and one of the best massages of my life. I've been to many 5 star hotel spas and this one took the cake. They really had an emphasis on both recovery and relaxation, with three different "relaxation" rooms - a true relaxation room with snacks and drinks, a Himalayan sea salt room and a recovery room with a jade mat, compression pants and hypervolt. Did I mention there's a beautiful outdoor hot tub overlooking the mountain? I had the muscle melt massage and Jenna was absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to return!

I am generally - aka - never a spa person and until now had never even gone to a spa for a massage ( though now I think I could get used to it ) but I had a gift card for this spa and was excited to try so my daughter had a pedicure and I had a massage. Beautiful setting in the Marriott Hythe. We booked online and arrived as directed 30 minutes before hand and enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful Himalayan salt room before our treatments - both were lovely and relaxing and the massage was perfect after hiking and canoeing! Then we enjoyed the steam room with all the beautiful skincare products that were available before the recovery room and then back to reality! Really an amazing, relaxing experience!

Up next was the Salt Therapy Lounge.

While staying at The Hythe in Vail, we had the pleasure of visiting the Well & Being Spa. The Well & Being Spa offers numerous spa treatments - specifically a Couples Massage that left Ross and I balanced & revitalized. We arrived at the Well & Being Spa and got checked in - the front desk attendant was professional & informative. She showed us back to the locker rooms so we could change into spa robes, slippers and stow our belongings. We started off our Well & Being Spa journey in the Relaxation Room. The Relaxation Room was a great spot to kick back & really get into the mind set to relax. We made ourselves comfortable in the lounge chairs while we waited for our masseuses to come get us for our treatments. Ross and I had a 50 minutes Couples Massage and our masseuses, Taylor & Reba were stellar. Ross and I were able to spend some quality time together while relaxing side-by-side. The Couples Massage was exactly what we needed to reduce our muscle tension (Ross especially after his intense ski day) and lessen our stress. We added on hot stones to improve relaxation, blood circulation and flow of energy. The massages put Ross and I in such tranquil states we both almost fell asleep! 10/10 Following our massages, Taylor & Reba gave us champagne & chocolates. Then we headed to the Recovery Lounge. The Recovery Lounge had a wide array of offerings including salt rocks, heating pads, percussion muscle massagers and a Normatec 2.0 Leg massager. The Normatec 2.0 provides restorative massage through dynamic air compression. Ross loved using the Normatec on his legs to further loosen his muscles - skiers this one is for you. Up next was the Salt Therapy Lounge. We walked into the lounge & were engulfed by the glow of Himalayan salt blocks. This lounge boasts all the benefits of calming halotherapy. Halotherapy is known to reduce inflammation, increase lung function and increase immunity. Ross and I continued to enjoy our champagne & did some breathing exercises to take full advantage of the pure oxygen being pumped into the lounge. The Salt Therapy Lounge was the perfect place to wrap up our Well & Being Spa journey. We can't wait to return to the Well & Being Spa and can't recommend it enough.

It was the best massage experience I've had. I highly recommend! The heated bed and experienced staff made this a very enjoyable spa day.

We were in Vail on a weekend trip, staying at the Hythe and I had the best massage of my life with Clint!

Carrie Wooten, Carrie Wooten, Carrie Wooten is all I have to say about the Vail Vitality Center…read more She is the best massage therapist I have ever been to and I don't say that lightly. I discovered her last year on my trip to Vail and had to see her again this year. In fact, it was the only thing that I really wanted to do. Her touch is so incredibly healing and is so good at what she does that you don't even have to tell her what's wrong - she just finds the problem. She also cares about the quality of the massage that she gives and goes the extra mile to make sure you leave relaxed and feeling wonderful. In addition to Carrie, the spa is very nice, well kept, quiet and clean. All things you want when going to a spa and all things you expect when going to a spa in Vail. I will definitely come back again next year - already looking forward to it.

They had male workers speaking loudly to each other in Spanish the entire 7 hours I was there. They were clanking around and you could hear it all the way in the massage rooms. The restrooms were not kept up with and I did lodge a complaint about the loud noise and dirty restrooms. Nothing seemed to change. The sauna is right next to the waiting room and treatment rooms leading to extremely dry heat making my throat sore and my body sweaty. The spa has some renovations and improvements to make. The cleaning people were mopping the locker room floors I slipped and fell. There was not a single yellow caution "slippery when wet" sign. They couldn't have mopped after the spa closed? Last but not least the front desk I made the reservation with did not communicate to my masseuse leading to some bumps in the road there. Only go to this spa if you have no other options and want to listen to loud speaking Spanish male maintenance workers clank around, possibly slip and fall, smell some horrible smells in the restroom and get a sore throat.
